Hi Funny - I forgot where I heard the very word bitcoin and when .... Hi I was surprised about the transaction validation speed as well - it was around 5 minutes to get 6 confirmations only So, it might be faster than for example counting banknotes when paying cash Good luck, Tom

Hi, I bought 2.09 BTC, IBAN EUR tranfer from Citibank Poland to Bitstamp - no problems, money showed up after two days, Bitcoins showed up in my wallet immediately That about sums up the transfer efficiency issue - 2 days to 2 minutes BTC wins ... Good luck, Tom

Hi!! I just got 2 BTC from coinmama.com Maybe a bit more expensive due to WesternUnion monster commision, but who cares and I got them quickly in couple hours I am in love with BTC I have one question: I run bitcoin-qt on my Ubuntu box When it runs, does it validate other ppl transactions? Or, what does it do except displaying my new shiny 2 BTCs? Good luck guys and let the Bitcoin spreads Tom
