It crashes when you try to combine or move more than 2 billions. Don't do it this is a pain to recover your coins.

Thank you so much!!
I read past articles and thought that Wallet would crash with more than 1 billion.
Is there a way to recover when Wallet crashes?
I'm sorry bother you but, could you please show me if there are reference information.

You won't have access to the wallet so you will have to dl the offline wallet with Increasemaxmoney from Bumbacoin (wich can be found somewhere in this thread). Then you will have to dump your private key then reimport in a new wallet.dat while syncing the whole blockchain from scratch (or from bootstrap) again. You won't have access to any of your coins meanwhile so if you want to "experiment" do this in another wallet (computer) with only 2B coins.

If SHND is going well maybe we can setup a bounty for Bumbacoin to fix this issue in the main wallet.

Hello to all.
I don’t know who can help me. Even though they asked me to ask Bumba.
In my wallet ... after 30 days (on the 32nd day) the 500,000,000 million block of coins has regularly stacked and I have got about another 500,000,000 coins.
Instead the block of coins equal to 999,999,999 still did not make me stack even though we are 34 days.
It takes even longer or the wallet for the high number of coins (999,999,999) has crashed?
How can I solve the problem?
Do I have to divide the block from 999,999,999 into two 500,000,000 blocks and then wait another 30 days? or do I still have to wait a few days?
Thank you very much for helping.

I checked what happens if I put more than 1 billion SHND into Wallet.
I thought Wallet would crash, but nothing happened. Do I misunderstand something?

Add 808 on CoinExchange, there is an active DOGE market there.

I think something good ( insane ) is happening. Its best time to buy and hold SHND. Excellent buy volume. Hope this will test its high (historical high about 250sat) soon. All the best.  Grin

You are aware that even 1sat is more than 1.5 billion $ market cap right ? So at 250 sats it will be bigger than Bitcoin...

still nothing

Are you running the 0141 version ?

As I don't know your level is your .conf really a .conf ? (right click property) If not as I don't know your exploitation system download notepad++ then you can easily convert a .txt into a .conf. (the icon should change then).

_Uncheck "Map port using UPnP" on your qtwallet/options/network you cann also try to connect from another port there.

try to add those too:

If it still doesn' t work close the QTwallet then delete everything in the SHND roaming folder BUT wallet.dat and StrongHands.conf. It should "unstuck" you most of the times.

If it still doesn't work contact Bumbacoin as he is the unofficial dev. He may appreciate some tip if he solves your issue.

hi again. having trouble connecting wallet. actually never could connect. i added nodes to the stronghands.conf file.

example:
addnode=98.116.68.183
addnode=84.59.14.42
addnode=45.58.117.114
addnode=2001:41d0:e:fb4:0:0:0:1
addnode=95.90.249.225
addnode=2001:470:28:6f0:0:0:0:219

 saved the .conf in the roaming folder for stronghands. restarted wallet and still no connections appear.

thanks for your time

I am still getting nothing.

steps taken:

created new .txt file
added nodes to .txt file
saved as 'Stronghands.conf' under all files.
saved in the hidden database folder

still no active connections

Rename it into StrongHands.conf with the capital letter on the "H".
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: December 12, 2017, 11:26:13 AM
Just purchased my first lot of XRB & I cannot work out, for the life of me, how to 'accept' it into my wallet.

I sent the 20,000 XRB from BitGrail to my rai_wallet v8.0 (Windows) currently on block 4437128

This is the transaction
https://raiblocks.net/block/index.php?h=F1882F82C0C9B01B302240A2220FF2F1AED27DFD4111EC3F306EE32B5098294A

I can see the 20729 XRB in the wallet as "Pending"

Now... How the fuck to I get it accepted Huh

I watched this video which said hit the "Refresh Wallet" button. Didn't work for me.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXAb4ZVycCE

I also tried the "Search for receivables" button, which does nothing.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

edited to add:

Finally closing & reopening the wallet caused the amount to show in my balance.

Seriously... after 4 years of using these wallets, this is in the top worst 3 along with VPN & ANT.

There is a shitload of work to do to make this user friendly, so looks like a very long term hold.

The wallet is actually really functional adding cosmetic will do but I don't care. Maybe you were too used to GUI BTC clones That almost every other wallets are. This is different but not worst.

Iota is expensive hot shit. XRB is the real deal. Binance and Bittrex will list it soon. Did you know why polo and Bittrex have not added iota despite the market cap is super high and pumped up?

Because they are going to add Raiblocks soon. 1 XRB will rich 50 dollars per coin soon. Bitcoin lightning will become a failure and everyone will move to Raiblocks
Cmon man be serious, when you talk like that no one believes it.  You sound like a standard shill.  If you want people to buy a coin you talk about its benefits and what advantages it has over another one.  Not full mouth breathing hypebeast nonsense "ermagred moon soon buy now everyone rich om!!!1!111!"

Sorry buddy it's the other way around. Some shills came to this thread when XRB was still 1% of the other coin's market cap. Maybe they felt threatened, I don't know ? XRB is doing his own thing, noone was making silly comparisons here before. On the other hand how much of us are trying to advertise XRB on another ANN threads ? 0. I guess people here are quite grown up and also they are not trying to pay shills and rent social farms to advertise or fud... All in one it's a very good sign for our community.

WTF are you talking about ? Ripple is centralized it compares only to VISA and Paypal, not to distributed ledgers. There is an up to date white paper, page 1 of this very thread waiting for you. Also Block Lattice isn't a DAG.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: December 10, 2017, 07:26:25 AM
Raiblock  is  rising thanks  the mooning of IOTA and  people  think it  could  be  a  ''IOTA-like'   coin

But  there  is  no comparation about  the  two. Rai  is  the  imitation of  a  future  great  mooning coin , IOTA, a  giant  that  had  sleeped  for  so long  time

An "imitation" sure retard it's not even the same game theory. The topic for the Block Latice came one month after the one about the DAG and that was not even the pre-ann for IOTA.

XRB is as old as IOTA guess which one is the sleeping giant ?

If there is "no comparation" just shut the fuck up then.

I agree the focus must be put on POS itself not music industry. There is many newcomers this year that don't even know what is the advantage of pos. BTC is still a gem to gem. Other knows there is many problems with it and that POS is solving some.

Now regarding 808. Under "normal" market conditions or on average 808 is the most consistant and profiting POS coin simple as that. Some knows it some doesn't. The price was suppressed not only related to the btc pump but because of at least another particular event that is ending. There is a likely scenario where the money must or should go back to 808 in a few days. I'm talking about 10 sats being cleaned in a blink  20 sats in 1-2 days max with an unknown peek and settling a bit above 25 sats. As a hint do you know many coins with this low market cap but still averaging 10btc as bids ? (15 peak few days ago)

Dude the dev is an engineer at Qualcomm so not exactly your usual basement script kiddie using a coingen.

Can someone please sum it up ?

Tme were converted into exor (at 1:1 rate ?) wich were able to create batches of Elixir depending on when you release them. I read there is 4000 batches approx but I would like to know what was the conversion of TME into EXOR and how much TME/exor there is ? Or how much Exor is needed for a batch of 10. Thanks !

An update requested on nodes invalidating previous versions. If the term doesn't applies to the tangle please let me know what is it.

Then every snapshot we do a hardfork.

Thank you I get a grasp of it now. First mover advantage. Weighting this too.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: October 23, 2017, 08:33:56 AM
You are right. It's basically hardforking. The only question is why the design wasn't better from the start (your fault) or how is it still a 1B market given the unfinished product (Investors' fault with really big hopes and dream expectations...). It's a free market after all.

Why is it hardforking? What is your definition of "hardfork"?

Ethereum is currently going through hardforks, now its marketcap is a whole lot bigger than 1 billion

If you make comparison regarding any particular subject I'll judge you incompetent on the matter. This being said I don't like ETH too much either.
I don't have to be convinced too both are shortable and If I'm not a strong advocate about this practice in crypto (usually more profit being long) I'll short one or both in a trading range or adequate market. In the grand scheme of things I hope alternative concepts like the tangle will make it but not for my short term profits.

Anybody knows what's the problem with bitfinex? I cannot withdraw my IOTA. Few days ago when I was trying to withdraw it was saying my IOTA address is wrong and since yesterday there is a message on bitfinex stating: "Notice: Withdrawals for this currency are currently unavailable."

The IOTA network is temporarily offline due to bug fixes. Just wait one or two days.

What do you mean by "the network is offline" exactly ?

So it looks like full nodes "agreed" to be turned off to process update Huh How much there is ? How this can even be performed. Congratulation to the ICO participants who made it from 500k$ to 3B$ for a 6000X ! If the network can be turned off this easily this thread deserves to be on Visatalk or Paypaltalk not here. If you blame btcg for the dump I assure you it's a hell of a deal to be able to dump at .3$ .03$ or even .003$ Have you ever heard off Bitcoin network being turned off for maintenance ? (and don't come with the rollback from 2011 Smiley )
