21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: between terrorists, banks and crypto on: November 10, 2018, 03:13:42 PM
We heard that crypto is often used for terrorist funding, but according to IOCTA in 2018, such an assumption is wrong.

Today, the popularity of Bitcoin is getting better, but the relationship with terrorist funding, they prefer the classic method of transferring through banks.

so, terrorist groups that use bitcoin are only low level transactions.
its not bitcoin's fault. The problem is the people who used bitcoin in illegal way, and its really hard to stop them. We cant expect people to stop it even though we already tell them what will happen. The choice is on them. Little did they know that it can cause a lot of damage to bitcoin?
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want to see for Bitcoin - A stable or a volatile market? on: November 10, 2018, 02:16:42 PM
The question is very simple as the subject line says,

Do you want to see a stable bitcoin market price or a volatile market price?

Please cast your vote and give us the reasons for your choice!

I know such kind of topic can potentially attract a large number of spam so I have kept it as self moderated! Any invalid reply will be deleted!

If I am going to choose between stable or volatile market , I will choose volatile market because if the maket is stable then we are not able to earn huge profit. It will be risky . I know that most of you chose stable so no one can lose their money but we cant change bitcoin. The price is unstable and its a miracle if it becomes stable.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we overcome the hard times? on: November 09, 2018, 02:55:28 PM
Hey guys, what do you think, can we be strong, and overcome this hard times when everything is red? How soon we will finally see bitcoin growing?
No matter what problem it is , I know that we are strong enough to face or overcome those challenges. Its really hard to determine if bitcoin will recover but I am hoping that it will. Some of us are confused on what are they going to do now that it is red. We need to stay calm and believe.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: November 09, 2018, 02:16:53 PM
If that's even his name. Just read the bitcoin wiki on him and I'm amazed. Nobody knows him.

Long time passed since he last posted in here. Why? "Busy"? I don't think so. He was active when bitcoin needed support but since the slashdot...
Also, it seems has knowledge in many areas, especially economy. He doesn't act like the average human. Not taking advantage out of his creation, leaving without telling anything. Is he even a single person or a group?

How can someone create something so great and not stepping out to get the credit?
There are some news that satoshi isnt a single person but a group of people. People usually talks about them because they hide their identity. Just like on what you have said their creation is indeed helpful to us. Its amazing how it can help us to earn huge profit.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dealing with Bitcoin or Crypto haters. on: November 08, 2018, 04:12:54 PM
Here's how I have been able to change people's opinion from being haters of Bitcoin to thinking about buying some and even some actually buying some.

I follow these 3 steps/rules that I made:

1. Don't get aggressive:

A lot of bitcoin denier get VERY aggressive about how bitcoin is a scam, don't get aggressive. If they are too aggressive and mad, just change the subject for the moment. No need to waste time.

2. Make them doubt their convictions.

Make them doubt that bitcoin is a scam or doomed to fail. A couple of examples that I use are:

      - This is comparable to when people wouldn't want to use their credit cards online because they were scared of fraud.

      - Bitcoin is far from reaching it's full potential, mass adoption takes a lot of time. This is comparable to when Amazon just sold books or Google was nothing compared to Yahoo.. remember Yahoo? (laughs)

      - Crypto currencies are the next steps in the evolution of payment : Barter -> Precious Metals -> Paper Money -> Plastic Cards -> Digital Money

3. Mention the Coinbase $10 when you buy $100 in Bitcoin and then let it simmer...

Let them think about it, they will so their research or ask around. Most will come back to you to get your code for the referral bonus.

Do you have other arguments that you use? I'd love to know.

BTC: 3LcmdDp52oShwv9UTy55vX69JxEibEoKrw
ETH: 0xe822Dc108cb78C9137BF2D92429449B97F1415E0

We are matured enough to argue with them , if they really hate crypto then let them because someday crypto will prove itself but of course we wont let them underestimate crypto or bitcoin. Its discombobulating to see them spreading false news. Just dont mind them.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin losing value is nothing surprising, will continue on: November 08, 2018, 03:23:39 PM
Bitcoins losing meaning and value is natural, its not capable to manage the worlds economy, you freaks dont understand that because you dont want to face and consider the complexity of the worlds socioeconomic structure, thinking you could replace all currencies with a currency that is based on race about installed computation power without imense social, cultural, and economic consequences was a ridiculous idea in the first place, that drove the ponzi scheme hype and was nothing but a naive illusion, wich you used to collect followers.

nevertheless some good thing remain, of bitcoins shortlived existance

an online kapital market, and a more decentral kapital market where the influence of the national banking cartel is reduced,

exactly what satoshi wanted.

i doubt satoshi was so stupid to actually think that he would replace all currencies with bitcoin like all his followers did.

satoshi was seeking to reduce the influence of the banking cartels, and i think he achieved what he wanted.
The price is unstable so we have to expect that this kind of situation can happen. Its really sad to see that some of us are losing hope. As an investor we dont only invest , we also need to believe. Never feel hopeless because I know that bitcoin can handle this kind of situation.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Acceptance. on: November 08, 2018, 02:43:24 PM
If bitcoin were to be accepted, on the condition that it should be regulated. Do you think it should be done, disregarding its decentralized nature?
We cant force someone to accept bitcoin especially governments. But as we can see bitcoin is being accepted from some countries like in Southeast Asia they are trying to adopt bitcoin. But if someone is going to regulate bitcoin there will be a nice and bad effects. In some countries they make regulations for bitcoin investors.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin too difficult to understand? on: November 07, 2018, 02:39:30 PM
So I was watching "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and I came across a video where Jimmy is talking about Bitcoin's Birthday  " Thank you, Bitcoin for turning 10 years today this week which is the exact amount of time it takes for someone to explain it to me what the hell Bitcoin is".
Also, I know it was meant as a joke but don't you think this explains facts in a humorous way!
I feel like the biggest problem with Bitcoin is the "understanding" of it.
What do you think?
If you want to watch the video, here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3Hma8DKXS8&t=100s
(0:53----1:07)

If you are a newbie then definitely it will be hard for you to understand it at first. Thats why some of newbies need some guidance from experts so they know what to do when investing. But of course if you have the will to learn then it will be easy for you to learn new things , you need to search everything to know how the bitcoin works.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should governments accept Crypto currencies? on: November 04, 2018, 10:26:36 PM
We are led to believe that almost all governments are corrupt and that most officials and even leaders of the world are bought.

We saw this for instance with the US elections where rumours are doing the rounds that massive amounts of money were channelled from foreign countries to influence the outcome of the election. This money had to be laundered through shell companies via Banks and complex money laundering systems.

All of this leaves paper trails and this can later be followed and investigated to find the true origin of this money.

Now think about this, why would "corrupt" governments want to appose Bitcoin and Crypto currencies, if they can use it to hide their "corrupt" practices? Would it not make sense just to allow it and then use it to further their political aspirations?

The push back from these corrupt governments does not make any sense. Could it be that they know that Bitcoin and Crypto currencies are not "anonymous" at all and that these transactions can be traced and for this reason they are apposed to it?

Curious to know what you are thinking.  Wink
For me , there are a lot of reason why government should accept bitcoin. Bitcoin can give a lot of benefits to its investors. Some government thinks that cryptocurrencies can be a threat on some banks that they are controlling to. But they dont even think that once they accept bitcoin it will help their economy to rise. No matter what we do , if they dont want to accept bitcoin thats fine bitcoin can find a way to make people accept and adopt it. We cant force them to accept bitcoin but we need to find a way even if its impossible.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does it even matter if governments and banks accept cryptocurrency? on: November 04, 2018, 09:44:12 PM
There is buzz about the prospective of governments and banks accepting crypto or creating their own for its mass acceptance.

I don't think this is even worth acknowledging, as all of the present and future innovations are going to come from the private sector. Governments are just responsible for damage control, do a God-awful job for the most part and have never achieved true democracy.

In the past, people relied on governments and banks not because they're "governments" or "banks," but because they provided security.

Once AI, blockchain, and improved means to use crypto provide even better security than governments and banks ever could, whatever they do will be irrelevant.

Yes it is. Why? Because people nowadays are finding a job that can make them earn a profit that is enough to feed their families. Cryptocurrency allow people to make it as a sideline job and gives opportunities to people. Now if government didnt accept cryptocurrency then the people who can use crypto is limited only. As we know government can do everything they want. If they accept cryptocurrency , then crypto can also give benefits to that country.

Its a great news , I hope this kind of news continues and motivate us to make people accept and adapt bitcoin. A lot people doesnt know anything about bitcoin and probably believe every false news they hear. But apparently I can see bitcoin improvements day by day especially now that people are learning to accept bitcoin.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: does bitcoin look scary / deadly for the future ...? on: November 04, 2018, 08:34:25 PM
Do you all have time to think about the future of our children and grandchildren in the future about the economy ...? if we see bitcoin in the present, it's already very busy talking about it some argue negatively and some argue positively Will in the future be the subject of conversation at the dining table for our grandchildren later ...?
 Huh Huh Huh
I know that bitcoin has the power to change people's mind when it comes to investing but it doesnt mean that it can harm our future and the future of our childs. It changes for the better. I think the next generation can handle and easily adapt bitcoin because of the technology.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions and Impressions about bitcoin on: November 04, 2018, 07:58:09 PM
So I asked my friends regarding their opinions and impressions about bitcoin and their answers made me laugh. One of my friends answered:

"Bitcoin? Bitcoin is used for transactions in deepwebs to buy drugs!"

So they think that bitcoin = deepwebs. So they stay away from bitcoin thinking it was illegal

Another one:

"Its just a waste of time. You will not earn from it"

And when you give him proof that bitcoin is valuable they'll be like "omg teach me how!!" Lol

And lastly,

"Bitcoin? Bitcoin is a scam"

So yea they think bitcoin is fraud and a scam.

It's so funny to think that people who don't have knowledge about bitcoin automatically thinks that bitcoin is a scam because of the issues regarding bitcoin scamming. So yeah.

This is the reason why we need to explain everything to them. We need to make them understand how bitcoin works. It doesnt matter if your friend believes as long as you did your part as an investor then thats enough. We cant stop them from spreading negative/false news about bitcoin. But I hope someday we can educate them the way we did to ourselves when we are still a newbie.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think only the rich can make profit from Bitcoin? on: November 03, 2018, 11:01:13 AM
A few people thought that Bitcoin investment is intended for just the rich to make the additional reach. That isn't true. Bitcoin can be utilized by either the rich or poor to make benefit. It requires smartness, patience, and less greediness both make a good profit from Bitcoin.
Most of you thinks that only rich people can make a huge profit on bitcoin. But for me it doesnt make any sense because me as an average person I can also make profit with bitcoin. Im not rich and im not that poor. Anyone can make a profit and invest in bitcoin. We need to know that everyone have potential to creat huge profit with the help of bitcoin. As long as you have enough money and you are brave enough to risk and invest then you can take the opportunity to invest.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 10 years anniversary, what good news are you expecting come 2019?. on: November 03, 2018, 10:20:16 AM
As we all know, Bitcoin was created in 2009 by satoshi nakamoto. Ever since, bitcoin has developed itself into a global topic. Along its journey to success just like other currencies/investments, bitcoin has experience its up and down reaching a ATH of almost $20k making it one of the best ROI of all time. So far we can say the journey has been successful but we all know we're not there yet.

As an investor/believer of bitcoin, what are the features you will love to see in bitcoin as we celebrate the 10 years anniversary, what positive news will you love to hear concerning bitcoin come 2019?.
I didnt expect too much in bitcoin because I believe that no matter what problem is bitcoin can face it. As an investor I believe that in 2019 bitcoin will have a lot of improvements. The price will become higher than now and many people will get interested on investing. Maybe some of the countries especially in southeast asia will adopt bitcoin.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you send bitcoins to Satoshi, if you know his Bitcoin address? on: November 03, 2018, 05:47:16 AM
Let's create a fictitious scenario where Satoshi sends a message in a way that can be validated/verified < PGP key > and he notify all of us that he is bankrupt and has no access to his coins.

If this is verified, would you send bitcoins to Satoshi, like people did with Andreas Antonopoulos?

We have seen people sending tips to Satoshi's known Bitcoin addresses and to date, bitcoin’s maiden address has received 16.7 BTC in tips, worth around $107 600. <This has never been claimed>

Will you send bitcoins and if you do, why?

If you will not send bitcoins. Why?
Of course I will because Its my only way to thank him by creating and developing bitcoin. In fact we cant earn huge profit without the help of bitcoin. If he is the real Satoshi then that will be good because nowadays people used to tell that they are satoshi even tho they are not.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today is the 10th anniversary of Bitcoin on: November 03, 2018, 03:58:31 AM

Today is the 10th anniversary of Bitcoin - the predicted currency that will revolutionize the global economy

Ten years ago, on a beautiful October day, a virtual currency called Bitcoin was born under the creations of Satoshi Nakamoto.
However, it was not until May 2010, when programmer Lalo Hanyecz changed 10,000 Bitcoins to get two pizza, this virtual currency was officially traded to buy things on the market.
Of course to this day, users can buy more than 2 pizza if they have 10,000 Bitcoins.

With the increase in Bitcoin, the use of this currency also increased rapidly. As of April 2011, Bitcoin's daily volume has reached $ 1 million, just over a year after two pizzas sold for 10,000 Bitcoins.
To date, the virtual currency market has grown stronger and much larger than it was 10 years ago. Even more types of virtual currency have been explored for use in different purposes.

There are over 1,000 virtual currency trading platforms in the world, including Bitcoin, Ether, DogeCoin. The peak of the virtual currency boom is January 1, 2018, when the market value estimated by CoinMarketCap.com exceeds $ 835 billion.
Concerned that the virtual currency market is deflating as well as the risks they bring, policymakers have issued restrictive regulations, even banning circulation in some markets, The market value of this virtual currency evaporates around $ 600 million from the peak.
It has been 10 years since Bitcoin was born, and it remains unclear whether virtual currencies like Bitcoin will become a new currency, a revolution in payments or a change in the global economy. Predict it or not.

This is amazing , bitcoin surpass all the challenges for 10 years so it makes me believe more that bitcoin will recover and be successful again. There are some improvements that happened but im happy that bitcoin is still growing and helping other people's life.
38  Other / Archival / Re: EDUCATING PEOPLE ABOUT CRYPTOCURRENCY on: November 01, 2018, 03:49:56 PM
If you take an assessment, a lot of citizens are not yet informative what is cryptocurrency is....like bitcoin and other altcoins. One proof is that others can be deceived by swindlers because of lack of knowledge regarding crypto currencies. . They invest with the wrong people because of considering in unfounded information and hearsays.
Educating people regarding crypto will not make them to mislead. Educators can teach about crypto inside school especially in economic subject/s because it has a big role nowadays.
As Tom Emmer stated, “ People tend to fear what they don’t know. If people sailing the oceans at the time of Columbus had believed the world is flat, we wouldn’t have had the great discoveries of the New World.”

I think it will give a huge positive impact on cryptocurrency if we educate people about it. People nowadays have no idea or sometimes misunderstands when they hear cryprocurrency. Educating them will be a great help to make them understand cryptocurrency. By helping them we also help ourselves. We do not have to teach them every single thing but by educating them the real purpose of cryptocurrency.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption for better life in future . on: November 01, 2018, 03:10:34 PM
Well, every one want to be a millionaire, this is the dream of everyone, no harm in it. Henry Ford did not make a conveyor for the man he did to produce cheaper cars.Innovations come from attempts to bypass competition and win.
Although this is partly our own mistake. You can not always blame others. For example, I mentioned that we can not spend bitcoin to buy what you want. The question is, did we really see if it's impossible to buy this thing using bitcoins or are you making a guess? Because I've seen a lot of people who just assumed they can not afford to waste their time, but they could.but also we know bitcoin adoption as a currency is not yet great,, is also part of our error. For example, how many times have you asked the seller you are using bitcoin? We need to start with ourselves and insist on acceptance, and then expect others to follow

This is the dream of many pioneers and enthusiasts for ,long run, , but  it will be near-impossible to get the coin into the
mainstream economy short-term,but with time it adoption will increase.Even I, who started late in the game , wanted to see the Bitcoin as a currency of work, and not just some speculative assets.
Imagine if most of us adopt bitcoin then probably there is no poverty because all of us are capable on earning money with the use of bitcoin. Bitcoin can make our life much better but its actually depends on us if we want to adopt it or live the way life takes us.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HAS BITCOIN REALLY STOOD THE TEST OF TIME? on: November 01, 2018, 02:37:49 PM
For many years, there are has been several misconceptions and negative speculations surrounding the world of crypto, you might have noticed that bitcoin always come up top despite these negative speculations.
The year 2018 has not been different, bitcoin has endured up to this time. There are has been several ups and downs especially concerning the price. The changes in the price were largely caused by negative news such as those in the media circles. In spite of all these problems, bitcoin has seen the light of day as the  biggest digital currency in the world. As the year enters the third quarter, all crypto enthusiasts can only hope for the best.
Bitcoin faced so many challenges even during this time. The changes in price will not change the confident of the people or investors of bitcoin. They choose to risk and face those problems to earn and gain benefits like huge profit, because we know that bitcoin can surpass it.
