21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: November 01, 2017, 09:52:31 AM
I've discovered Bitcoin few days ago, but I am skeptical about few things, why would I invest money in Bitcoins at the end of the day,why would I convert money into Bitcoins?

If I want to buy stocks or invest money I can easily invest with real $. Why would I convert my $ to bitcoins?
If I want to gamble , I can simply gamble on websites that require $ as currency, why would I convert it to bitcoins?
What's the difference between Bitcoins and dolars? What does bitcoin bring to the table that real $ don't, less taxes, more income?

you are not totally right because you can convert your money in doller but you can not trade with doller because the price of doller not goes down and up sharply but in btc there is sharp and big down and fall and increaee in the rate day per day happened . so bitcoin provides us a way to get better way for trading .
and second thing is the no. of people wants to buy btc are more than the dollet buyer .

money depend on gold and bitcoins is a virtual currency.

Set up an exchange, get lots of people to deposit their BTC, claim theft of BTCs, file for bankruptcy, recover some of the BTC.  Quietly shut down and live off the value of the BTC acquired.  I wonder if anyone has done this yet?

It is possible if you haven't secured enough your wallet, or if your password or/and email get hacked or stolen. You need to secure your wallet and link it to your phone if you are using the online wallets and choose complicated passwords, and of course store your private key

For me, Bitcoin is not yet a currency because it is not yet legally accepted worldwide but it is certainly an asset. It has value that's either appreciate or depreciate depending on the market. I think in the near future, Bitcoin can considered a currency once legalized.

for me btc is an asset because buy btc but legaly that BTC is don't accepted worlswide.
