21  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is way down today on: July 11, 2019, 02:05:57 PM
In general there is no definite way to avoid such activities, even if you try to follow or even fight the current market flow. I guess hale whale gives a little effect on the market, the rest is how small traders respond to that. While BTC is down, just HOLD it, i've ever regret cause of panic like this moment.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 will bring big changes? on: July 10, 2019, 10:24:43 PM
If there is an update like that, and there is a log file about what is being updated and whether it has an impact (although not directly)
I think that can increase the price of Ethereum. It's still good if you take it from the current price. Because it could be when 1-2 months before the update, Eth's price soared.
23  Economy / Economics / Re: Money, crypto, IEOs. Infographics on: July 10, 2019, 02:11:24 AM
Wait a sec, are there more reliable sources for the accuracy of this data? Because in other news I have never heard of the success of Bitfinex, or the IEO in the exchange.
24  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For Daytrading which time frame suits best? on: July 10, 2019, 02:08:51 AM
For indicators like RSI and moving averages use the daily chart. Lower timeframes will lack of substance.

For candlestick patterns, use timeframes from 5 min to 30 min as most daytraders are looking out for these as well. TA is a self-fulfilling prophecy so you should want to act "like everyone else does".

Never use the 1 min chart as not a single indicator will work here.

What coin are you usually looking for, or maybe there are tips for choosing coins and their characteristics? Because I don't think all coins have a significant movement in such a timeframe.

Or maybe just pick the coin which has biggest volume ?
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Serious question about Bitcoin. Is it a reliable and stable investment? on: July 09, 2019, 05:13:09 AM
Hi guys. I have a friend who's parents are looking for alternatives and want to invest money into something other than their IRA account. They have a fixed IRA with about $100K, but they are unsatisfied with the miserable amount of interest they're getting. I mentioned to them that bitcoin is a possible alternative and one they can look into. Do you agree? Do you guys consider bitcoin a reliable and stable investment for long term holding(5-10yrs)? Is it safe to assume the only direction(barring a few dips here and there) bitcoin will eventually go from here is up? Do you foresee it going below $10K, or even $9K ever again? Is it even possible to see the lows we saw a few months ago(ie $3500) ever again?

Please give me your thoughts. IRA or Bitcoin for the long term?

If you ask for this right here, of course the majority will answer Bitcoin above from the IRA. Bitcoin I don't think it will and it won't be a stable currency.

Is it reliable? My opinion is that was in the middle between yes and no.
26  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A real decentralized exchange on: July 08, 2019, 05:10:03 AM
https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@hatu/switch-is-a-dex-that-s-actually-decentralized

Thoughts? Im definitely bias towards switch but i truly think its one of the few real decentralized exchanges out there.

Also not sure if right section

I also had time to join this project and the first impression that I felt was indeed decentralized, but I don't think it is still running full because they still just started it. I prefer to use Binance Dex or even Forkdelta.

27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Reign is nowhere near its end! on: July 07, 2019, 04:53:32 PM
0.05% taker and 0.05% maker is one of the lowest fees in industry.
It's their consistency that brought them here. With my long user of exchange, I never found a single issue to contact the support. The system is flawless.
The team behind are inovative and the exchange itself is inovative itself more than any other. They are also well known for delivering what they speak.

Yes, I agree with what you say, Binance, I think it will still be able to hold the championship over some of their extraordinary achievements. Besides their influence on how the market conditions will come and make it better should be more appreciated. The most important point is that I still don't see any reason that Binance will end
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New $35 Raspberry Pi is the Most Powerful Yet for Running a Full Bitcoin Node on: July 07, 2019, 04:39:47 PM
I even found out that the Raspberry Pi can run Bitcoin Nodes in full. Compared to the price that must be paid, I think this is worth more. Well, even I think with a little modification, maybe the performance can also develop from the default.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges to be careful about IEO listing. on: July 06, 2019, 10:55:48 PM
Currently IEO's are becoming pupular and providing a more reliable option for new projects than ICO's. Previously a lot of new projects started by raising funds via their ICO sites and because of unregulated nature of this avenue, a lot of scammers used the medium to swindle a lot of victims.

Now the story has changed as it only serious projects that would want to go through IEO's, we no longer would hold only the project body responsible for any IEO scam but the exchange, so any exchange that values its reputation and users should do a proper scrutiny about any project before accepting their IEO sales. For instance if an exchange fails multiple times with their IEO, it will drive attention away from them, that is why Binance still draws a lot of attentions because it has recorded more successful and profitable IEO's.

Indeed the IEO is actually a kind of double-edged sword for the Exchange itself. If it works then people will increasingly believe, if the project fails and also the exchange will get a bad reputation. And in the end the exchange must also rethink their exchange consumer confidence.

Besides that, there are also exchanges that scam on several projects:

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware - Resurgence of previously inactive projects on: July 06, 2019, 10:48:29 PM
most projects are doing their very last pump before their complete exit where the token dies for good and never seen again. that is natural course of this market specially when it is filled with thousands of useless projects that were created only to get pumped and dumped for a shirt time.

Usually, but however in a market that is truly unstable like this for now it is very rare. Last year I also often took part in a really good project, the Russian Project if I was not mistaken, and entered into the Yobit exchange, unfortunately their coins could not be listed in Coinmarketcap, where is it now unknown. I also did not see any news of the last Pump for the coin.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is popular, what do you think? Will you participate? on: July 06, 2019, 05:00:23 PM
But, with IEO it will more stroger to combat scam project.
As long as it will give profit for investment, it will good to join this IEO.

Of course, as long as giving profit, of course everyone will surely follow any IEO, the problem now is that even though the exchange applies to certain conditions, they still use the lottery system to draw who gets it, I guess in this part that is unfair. There is always the possibility of cheating here. This part actually that makes me lazy to start join an IEO.
32  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A pravobly fair exchange site? on: July 05, 2019, 05:54:42 PM
Hello guys what's  popping?  In your view and experience what are the best site so far on this year?? Please share some ! 🙂 which is had a lowest fees and small minimum withdrawal . ' and please only those exchange site that has a high volume and a provably fair trading site .  Thanks in advance !

Basically all the exchanges I think have the same withdrawal fee, you only need to find a coin that has the cheapest fee. Usually XLM, XRP, ETC or DOGE can also. The coin coin has the cheapest fee compared to ETH, BTC and so on. And if you want to trade, you don't need to overly issue the fee. It's all are same, you have to choose the best one.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin connecting PayPal? on: July 04, 2019, 10:35:20 PM
Is it possible that in future Bitcoin will connect to PayPal?
PP is not that much regulated by government, all they care about is profit so I personally think it may happen.
That'd be huge revolution, PayPal would introduce Bitcoin to the world.

What you think about it?

BTCBTCBTC

For now it can't, and for the future maybe not. The Paypal system is quite sensitive actually, they have to verify whether the funds you are going to transfer and the funds that you will receive are really legit or not. Not the result of fraud or the like. I don't think anonymous bitcoin will be accepted by them
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The past, present and future of Bitcoin? on: July 04, 2019, 04:30:57 PM
The past: It gets created by one guy who nobody knows who he really is
The present: Market gets rejuvenated
The future: BTC at 20K? The article where I got the info from has some bullish points!

https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/the-past-present-and-future-of-bitcoin/

BTC is 20k for this year I think it has a potential of 50:50. At present what is needed to reach that point is news about the bitcoin that is insistent. It can make a chain reaction in the market and can be significant. Moreover, even at the current prices there are still many people who want it
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: taking decisions on: July 04, 2019, 04:28:37 PM
The moment you start taking decisions yourself you will make a change in your life ,some decisions will be bad and some will be good but at least you are different from those who rely on others decision. Don't invest in coins because people  around you are investing in it ,I did the same in the past even when i knew that the coin doesnt make lota sense and it doesnt end well for me ,I repeat same mistakes like thrice before I really opened my eye ,I knew what's right from the start im just wasn't bold enough to do what I felt was right.

To all readers on here please try to know yourself ,listen to your heart and learn from others but don't rely on others ,sometimes you know what's best for you but you aren't just bold enough to make your own decision ,maybe because you are too scared of failure? Failure is a big part of road to success .

If you just follow your heart and ignore the words of others or make them a reason because we also want to be traders like them, I think that is an easy thing. The hardest thing is we have to be able to be patient to achieve this. I've tried it before. It's really difficult to be patient
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people bought Bitcoin because of you? on: July 04, 2019, 04:21:26 PM
No because I have never promoted Bitcoin especially directly. I prefer to get it myself. Maybe just answering a few questions they need to know how I can get profit in Bitcoin.
because I'm afraid that if they don't get what they want, they blame me for the loss.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I screwed? on: July 03, 2019, 10:40:37 PM
In my opinion, that depends on how much BTC you have sold. If you sell up to 1 BTC, you're really screwed. Actually if you expect to get the BTC price that you have sold, it will be difficult. Moreover, maybe in this period BTC will be quite stable and people already awake how this worst so don't too much expect of the market going red again.
38  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Tether Supply a driver of Bitcoin Prices on: July 03, 2019, 10:29:10 PM
Been seeing so many different articles on this. Charts show a strong correlation in supply of tether with rise in BTC prices. Is Tether supply and trading a significant driver of Bitcoin prices in 2019 up from $3k level in Dec 2018? If so, how much really [estimates with precision]? And what happens to Bitcoin prices if there's a Tether crackdown or if some other really bad news about Tether hits the newswires?

I think both are very separate, especially in giving impact to Bitcoin. Bitcoin in my opinion is really pure from analyzing the situation and also the market fundamentals. Not from more coins especially Tether. Tether doesn't have any role of bitcoin prices
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Many People Are Really Trading Cryptocurrency? on: July 02, 2019, 10:22:47 PM
i still don't get why people are so concerned about the percentage of fake volumes reported by exchanges. it doesn't change anything about the market at all. and they are all doing it to some extent and they are all doing it to compete with each other so that they can remain higher on the lists sorted with their daily volume.
for example if they report some altcoin to have $10 million daily volume when it has only $1000, that coin won't become any better by magic. and it won't get pumped because of it either.

Yes indeed, of course it seems like that, but don't forget that when trading people also see the volume of several coins they invest. If things like this continue then it is not impossible if one day the exchange or coin will scam
40  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Bearish or Bullish? Here my thoughs on: July 02, 2019, 10:17:31 PM
1 trillion marketcap is still low, gold has a 7 trillion marketcap and that is mainly from store of value.  The world is moving to a digital world and gold is a hassle to transport globally while bitcoin just requires a few clicks of the mouse.

Yes you are right, but even with the ease like this, this is what causes the volalitle of bitcoin to be higher, so it will be difficult to predict even in the next 1 week. We have seen through the market that Bitcoin going to bullish in just 1 - 2 week and then whole market got bearish just in 1 day.
