So I hope you have a working product right?

Last pre-sale I looked at was WISP and they disappeared lol...

Why make our name something "unique" and "edgy" when we can just "piggyback" of off the Raiblocks/NANO popularity.

The closer we are to moma Raiblocks/NANO, the faster we can grow.

We're in a major dip and Nano is up 20% BEFORE the binance listing.

Don't be silly.

A simple ticker like ZNANO or something very close is for the best

P.S. So the testnet is on February 9th? and donations end then too?

Guess we're gonna see if felix disappears( A LA WISP COIN) or delivers the goods
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Stone - DAG Data-Structured Private Cryptocurrency on: January 30, 2018, 04:57:04 PM
Slate sounds like a good rebrand or we can piggy back of off Raiblocks rebrand to NANO

And do NANO-Privacy or NANO- Stealth

Or... SNANO etc...

Can someone explain me the distribution ? How would it work, lets say I donate 5 ETH, how much will I get sort of speak ?

Also I can cover for dutch translation

Check the first post. Everything you donate at this point should be considered a donation with potentially no return for you. This is not an ICO. I think there is some uncertainty about how the coins will be distributed. It is stated that 30% will be distributed to donors. At times it seems like they will be evenly distributed among donors, and at other times it seems like it might be based on how much you donate. Maybe that is still being decided, unless I've missed something.

I would seem patently unfair to give the same amount to someone who donated $1 as to someone who donated $20 000. There would be a massive outcry. Maybe we should all make fake accounts and make multiple small donations then? The point here is fairness.

I agree. I would be in favor of setting a date (the last day for donations) and using the price for those currencies used to donate for that date to determine btc value for each donation, then proportionally dividing up the 30% that is being sent to donors. For example, if the price of ETH = 0.1 BTC, the person who donated 1 ETH would get 1/10 as much stone as the person who donated 1 BTC.

Yeah, that is pretty much what I had in mind. Some guy donated 13 ETH, that kind of generosity should be rewarded more than someone who donates 0.01ETH. I think as you say, at a set date snapshot value of the currencies and then user dollar value as a way to determine percentage of available Stone coins. So 45 million Stone divided by $x total donation value gives amount of stone for every dollar donated.

This makes sense

There should be a signup of some sorts for the airdrop.

Whichever way allows a ton of different people WHO are dedicated to the project and not just looking to make a mint.

P.S. Anyone interested in captchas is people still gamed that system with amazon turk and earned huge amounts of XRB.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Stone - DAG Data-Structured Private Cryptocurrency on: January 26, 2018, 02:04:47 PM
We should really try to distribute this more equally for humanity. This is the whole purpose. To distribute a quick, feeless, private & secure currency to as wide a diversity of humanity as possible. We can save human lives through this. Let's try our best to seize this opportunity for humanity.

Also, I have an Earn.com account and we may be able to distribute Stone more equally through their new Airdrop program. They have over 100,000+ users and it's free for anyone to sign up. We can launch a campaign to distribute a majority of Stone only to those who "invite other users, perform labor for the project, or give back in other ways." You may view more details here: https://news.earn.com/launch-your-token-with-an-earn-com-airdrop-97715970f8c7

Would love to hear the community's thoughts on this.

+1

Don't make rich people (BTC\XRB holders) richer...

The point is for STONE to succeed, not be a do gooder and make poor people more well off.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the FUD about XTRABYTES is unjustified on: January 24, 2018, 03:59:31 PM
lol well believe what you will mapie, but let me ask you this. Do you PERSONALLY think the advice I gave was good, yes or no? I suggested an AMA, update advice and a few other things. Don't you think that would be good for the project? nothing else, focus on the advice, do you think it was good for the community?  Grin

And when the guy called it sh*t, didn't I post positives and even mention the testnet? (...also how is posting positives playing the victim...or even negatives? and I kind of am a victim since you can read how I was attacked heavily and all my suggestions ignored, heck even one person cussed at me and then sent me rude PMs). I try to help and I get attacked, I post my own personal opinion and I get attacked...why? lol (also the community is very rude at this point obviously, but I didn't spam this thread did I?)

Neloc75 Not saying that you really don't have the XBY amount you are showing us, but it's ultra giga easy to fake pictures like this. See my example below.

Here are my "millions and millions" of XBY https://imgur.com/a/bNQl4  Grin

(Wish I would have that many Cheesy)

All the best!

Also, I wouldn't have anything against AMA but I personally don't see any point in it. I see people asking all kinds of questions in XBY Discord chat and all of them get their answers. Moreover, where do you see this "community is very rude" happening, DC chat is ultra chill and XBY forums are nice as well. You just have to get that if you start talking shit and bad stuff about any cryptocurrency that has a bigger community, people start to protect what they like. And right now the defense for XBY is taking place with valid arguments.

Now that is compelling response.(take a hint Fatoshi)
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the FUD about XTRABYTES is unjustified on: January 24, 2018, 02:44:02 AM
I won't disagree that they did do very basic stuff to help the project, but there is alot of proof of the project being sketchy in various ways  as you can see from both posted proof and their history Wink

You should be more worried about your past posts.....U Weirdo.

And to the project. Its ironic that XBY is whatever u think about the project been probably the most honest and unscammy project ive ever seen. For goodness sake the developers even had concerns the price was rising too fast at one point early in development...who does that?

Maybe this is why they get attacked cause the whole crypto market IS so scammy and XBY isn't maybe?

You're ad-hominid attacks only hurt your cause and make you look childish.

Anyone with an XBY profile picture who does not answer Neloc's points, point by point with reasonable rebuttals discredits XBY

Like this fool below

Looking forward to the code.

Nothing else matters but a working product and a wallet to put it in

Hi Felixando,

There's been a lot of progress! Keep up the good work!

All is not well for me though...

I recently fractured my tibia while at work...

And because I have a high deductible insurance plan(usa), I have to pay a ton to fix this.

I donated my 3.8 ethereum to you not expecting this sudden expense

I'm happy I donated but right now I need the money to pay my medical bills

Once I'm settled financially I'd be happy to donate the same amount again.

Please help me out of this temporary jam :/

Cheers,

Mr.Ahab

Much respect and wishing you recover quickly,

but that's not how donations work.

You donate and it's no longer yours, you can sit there in pain and in debt and know that hey - you made a positive contribution to some potentially world changing coin.

Cheers and good luck! =)

yup, too bad for mr ahab. lesson learned: only donate what you can afford to lose.

btw, someone on my language subforum even asked whether the bitcoin that he sold on exchange can be "retrieved back", because he regretted selling them in around may 2017 when the price was about $2500 but then later in that year the price shot to $10000+ Smiley

There's currently 9.5 eth in the donation wallet > https://etherscan.io/address/0x4Ce0650EC058449F8b936733b12E945E443EC1bD

And Over 100K or more has already been sold on exchanges by Felix. How you compare me to someone on an exchange who's being greedy while I just want to pay debts I couldn't have forseen?

It's not like the project will be hurt by helping me?

So you deleted the previous post accusing you of copy/paste the transitive reduction. You delete whatever you don’t agree with?

Also I didnt get any reply to my previous question. You said that with the 'Transitive reduction of G' there will be more privacy ontop of zk-SNARK’s. Why is that?

Ok^

But can you give us a quick and dirty summary now? It doesn't need to be perfect

*He has deleted my posts as well

Felixando scammed all those people.

He's deleting posts constantly.

Don't give anyone a dime on this forum until they show some code
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Stone - DAG Data-Structured Private Cryptocurrency on: January 09, 2018, 02:54:26 PM
Where is the code?

Why are you talking about distribution when you haven't released the code?
This is a project, a project which initiated only three weeks ago, the code is not complete, by far, i am not afraid to admit this.

felixando.

Alright.

Then no more forum posts, no more updates(other than coding, with REAL CODE preferably, EVEN if it is incomplete).

No other talk from no one else, most especially you until the code is done.

Everything else is meaningless before the code is complete(Putting the cart before the horse)

If you are legit, you are losing your support and fast by doing the opposite. Colin, creator of Raiblocks first posts contained all new code, hell a wallet too

The code will speak more than anything you type before it is done.

Setup a github and let others audit your code asap

Here's code from NEO that apparently signifies it's worth.

Hi all,

https://www.screencast.com/t/vvHfmSiYm2T5

This picture of code is taken from an ad for James Altucher crypto trader.

I'm not a coder and apparently this is from Verge and it signifies that coins worth.

Can someone explain to me what it means? It's uses?

Thank you1
