I received lot of messages asking for Paycoin pool, so it would be great if someone make a getwork pool. Please note Paycoin working with Getwork - Longpool only.

Please pm me if you created one. No bounty for new pool yet but will give when we have donation.

It's been a good start for Paycoin when total network hash reach 200MH, more than 2400 blocks mined so far.

Our devs currently working on next update for bug fixes and improvements.

No stratum support yet, Paycoin still working with Getwork / Long-pool.

What is PayCoin?

Paycoin is a fork of Novacoin/Florincoin/CosmosCoin with very fast transaction time for instant payment. It uses both Proof of Work and Proof of Stake and effectively resistant to 51% attack. The difficulty re-targeted each block. The total coins mined will be 30,000,000 coins with 3 coins per block.

Paycoin is zero premined and support short transaction message.

More interesting functions is coming in Version 1.1.

Next update v1.1:
- Stratum fix, support long-pool/getwork now.
- Chinese website.
- New icons
- Current price (will work when paycoin added to exchange), next diff estimated in Client.
- Escrow service PYC/BTC and PYC/LTC with very low fees.

Sample paycoin.conf:

Getting Started:

1. Start up paycoin-qt, wait for it to load, then exit.
2. Put paycoin.conf (see sample file above) in your c:/users/**yourcomputername**/AppData/Roaming/paycoin
3. restart paycoin-qt, and you should connect and sync.
4. For solo mining, launch cgminer or the mining program you use and begin mining.
    cgminer ex: cgminer.exe –scrypt -I 20 -s 1 –expiry 1 –queue 0 -g 1 -o 127.0.0.1:9289 -u username -p password
