I am sure this question has been asked/answered but could not find it. How do I limit one of the pairs to a fixed value of available funds. I started trading in 5 different pairs yesterday, and when I got up this morning one of the pairs had more than 30% of my funds tied up.  When this pair took a slight drop this morning, I was looking at a 0.3 BTC loss, according to the balances at Poloniex. When I went to bed, I had a 0.3 BTC gain. (Simply marvelous!) Can I limit the funds available to a specific pair? Also, can I specify that CAT, in total, can use 80% of funds and leave 20% behind in case something goes awry? (Not with CAT, but markets in general). This is how I manage my real-world stock trading and would like to do the same with CAT. Thanks in advance. |

Latest waller 0.11.0.13, I look in my coins with coin control and the anonymized coins are still there but darksend balance says zero. How do I get the darksend balance correct?

I had the same 8.75 DRK mined - then figured out I was still on the wrong chain when i upgraded to 11.0.13.
You need to delete peers.dat and start darkcoin with the -reindex switch to the command line.
Once it re-sync's you wont see the 8.75 DRK anymore and you will be on the correct chain.
Damn! I thought I had hit the motherlode for mining! LOL. Thanks for the info. |

I have a similar issue. I received 8.75 DRK as a mining entry from a masternode. Blockchain explorer could not find the entry with a trans id of a841cd9947b831bc380703b81987b1036a6f03826804788556ca13a4b507f705-000. The 8.75 DRK was not noted by drk.mn under my masternode entry. I sent this 8.75 to another wallet and block chain explorer could not find the trans id for it either, 2844fa09d8038bd2ce7c9cad3244b3cf734d31f772eb91c7b9d905ae4d21b3b4-000. I have yet to receive the coins after 10 hours. I was at 0.11.0.11 when I received these coins and am now at 0.11.0.13 |

People I work with were able to understand the translations completely and ask questions back that might extend the basic documentation. I'd like to add my congratulations too Evan. Probably one of the fundamental attributes of Darkcoin that's been so assuring and confidence-building is your level headed commitment to an orderly representation of what you're thinking on DRK is, what you're planning for the tech's roadmap and what you know can actually be achieved. It's a stark contrast against so many other altcoins where the hype and hubris is all consuming and whips so many people up only to result in a disastrous collapse (there are too many to mention; most of us know some examples). I really appreciate this aspect of your nature and approach.
Software development and IT projects are notorious for failing to deliver on expectations and documented features/capabilities. But you and the Darkcoin team have consistently set appropriate and achievable goals then followed through with delivery. That's what's brought such good people into the fold and facilitated the loyalty so many here demonstrate. I found out about DRK through the BTC-e troll-box (of all places....they use to call it Dork....jealousy I guess!) and although I bought in at levels far above where we're at, I've seen evidence all the way along that DRK has a very good chance of succeeding and making an enormous difference.

Thanks, you cant, its not integrated into the main branch yet, 0.11.0.x is just in development stage right now but you can look over their shoulders and see their progress... sorta speak. Darksend anonymizing taking FOREVER. I set 30 drk with 4 rounds, after 10 hours, only 28% finished? Glad I did not set it for 500 drk. I started this job at 2014-12-27 05:00

No problem, glad its sorted out. i always use seperate blockchains for each wallet. I think its possible to use one blockchain for several wallets but that would involve working with different darkcoin.conf's which can be directed with -conf=thelocationofyrspecificdarkcoin.conf command option i think .. i havent experimented with that commandline yet
so i'm not totally sure how it works.
Another question: How does one enable Darksend in their wallet? Do I need to anonymize some coins between the 2 wallets? Thanks |

I tried this arrangement with 2 masternodes. When I send the 1000 drk to the second MN, it states I sent zero drk. I am using the latest version v0.10.17.24-gee8174a-beta

pls check both the second masternodes DRK addres and the addres from which you sent it here : http://explorer.darkcoin.io/chain/Darkcoinif second masternode addres shows the 1000 DRK there but yr wallet doesnt then do a -reindex on yr second MN wallet if the 1000 DRK are still in the sent-from wallet acc block explorer but perhaps not getting confirmed then do a -zapwallettxes on yr sent-from wallet. * With a new masternode wallet its important to first sent 1 drk to test the wallet, see if it arrives there correctly and then do the full 1000 DRK * Make backups right after creating new wallets let me know what you find.. edit : also make sure that the wallet.dat in yr datadirectory is named exactly as mentioned in yr shortcut : example 1 : yr shortcut mentions -wallet=test.dat then your wallet.dat should also be renamed to test.dat in the specified datadirectory example 2 : yr shortcut mentions -wallet=readme then your wallet.dat should also be renamed to readme in the specified datadirectory Thanks for the info I will keep it in mind. I was attempting to share the datadir with 2 wallets, and the transaction total showed up as Zero dark... Debit: -1000.00 DRK Credit: 1000.00 DRK Net amount: 0.00 DRK Transaction ID: f47ee8906c296921917............. I went and looked in the first wallet that I have and this version shows the masternode payment as zero drk sent also. I guess I should have compared them before freaking out. Guess holiday travel has me a little nuts.  Anyway, I setup the 2 wallets so they are separate datadirs (before I realized my faux pas). I guess I will wait until after the holidays and try it again with a single datadir. It would be cool to run both of the wallets from one download. Thank you for your time. |

Blockchain will be in specific location on different drive (D drive in this case) using commandline -datadir
wallet.dat needs to be renamed as XXXX to work
XXXX : yr own renamed filename, can even be extensionless (without .dat)
Darkcoin.conf not necessary to change with this setup

Well my fellow investors here is the latest from Wood Technologies LLP:
We write to confirm that the CipherMine (‘CM’) restructure plan has been approved.
In accordance with that plan:
1. A new entity, Ciphermine Limited, has been incorporated in the UK;
2. The ‘share’ in the start-up crowdfunding platform CipherTrade (‘CT Share’) has been transferred to Ciphermine Limited. The CT Share has been calculated on the basis of a contribution at the relevant time by CM of USD $20,000, and equates to 10% of CipherTrade;
3. 100,000 shares in Ciphermine Limited have been allotted, and will be available for subscription based on pro rata holdings of the CM B1 ’bond’ (‘Bond’) (e.g. 1 bond = 1 share, 2 bonds = 2 shares etc);
4. The subscription process is as follows:
a. You will sign up for an account at ciphertrade.com (if you have not already done so);
b. You will complete the KYC process;
c. If you are a US citizen you will be unable to subscribe unless you can demonstrate that you are an accredited investor in compliance with US securities laws;
d. By mid-December the number of eligible subscribers will be assessed (‘Eligible Subscribers’) and they will be sent a subscription agreement for signature;
e. On receipt of a signed subscription agreement, shares in Ciphermine Limited will be issued to Eligible Subscribers (‘New Shareholders’);
5. CM’s mining assets are being sold, and will be added to an asset pool with the remaining cryptocurrency mined (which at today’s rates is worth approximately USD $10,000) (the ‘Asset Pool’). The Asset Pool will be distributed on a pro rata basis to New Shareholders;
6. Eligible Subscribers will have a maximum of six months from the date of this communication to subscribe for shares in Ciphermine Limited (i.e. by 24 May 2015). On expiry of that period, any remaining balance in the Asset Pool will be distributed to the New Shareholders.
Finally, please note that by signing the subscription agreement, you will do so in full and final settlement of any claim you might have, or have had, against CM’s ‘shareholders’ and/or any other individual and/or legal person, arising out of or in connection with CM and/or the ‘Bond’.
