I just think that if someone got muted system messages should be blocked as well. While impractical, using tiny tips or the name changing it's still possible to spam the chat.

Limiting the chat to players who used the site already defeats the purpose of the chat, as people quite often ask questions before getting started.

This gem of a human individual demonstrates a problem that should probably be fixed when someone was muted. His accs are #71337 and #72227

I just noticed my deposit address changed for the first time since the site opened. Is there a specific reason for that? Can we still use old addresses?
Old address's will still work. Not sure why the server decided to generate you a new one although it won't cause any problems. I'll look into it when I get some time!

Alright, thanks! I had a deposit pending when I wrote the post, so just for the sake of completion: It worked and didn't cause any problems.

GUYS, come one, the admin has LIFE OUTSIDE OF THE INTERNET. leave him alone. its not like he is responsible for the site!

If the site owner isn't responsible for the site, then who is? lol..

You have missed the most important word in his whole paragraph. I have marked it red for you. Cheesy

GUYS, come one, the admin has LIFE OUTSIDE OF THE INTERNET. leave him alone. its not like he is responsible for the site! get off your high horse, im sure he will show up this month or the next. your funds are provably safe and not under your control, you have noting to worry about. /sarcasm

I did miss that, oops. Sorry. Guess I should leave this place alone when I should be sleeping instead.

seriously oldmate looks more and more like a shill account than a real investor. maybe this was all just a scam to try to get us to invest so admin can then run off. such is life on bitcoin. stunna did warn us.

Do you really need someone else to warn you? Is it that hard to judge on your own if you can trust a site?

Hopefully it comes back online soon, I think I will just cash out and play elsewhere.

That's sad to hear, because I love the site, but I'd lie if I said that I didn't think about this already.

Well right now the site is down.

The same problems seem to be coming up every now and then. And yeah, it is a little annoying that they're not being taken care of.

I'll wait with the release of the bot until the site has an active administrator.

do you use keyboard shortcuts?  Shocked
I am in android phone it doesn't have keyboard shortcuts

thats explained it already, perhaps you were just missclicked it anyway since android's screen might be smaller and your fingertips is big, so no one can help you since it is your fault
What missclicked man?
Its a 5.5inch phone it was not missclick

That's likely what happened. Sorry. I'm working on several userscripts for the site and I'm constantly digging through the sites (client side) source. There is nothing fishy going on with the event handling. You click a box, it sends the box ID to the server.

I'm gonna go with diggit.io as well.

There was a pretty massive spammer on the site just now, at a couple messages per second. I just muted him and added an auto mute mechanism to my chathelper to prevent him from coming back just like that. So, try again now if you feel like it. Maybe it helped. Smiley

you need to watchout for him using TOR and coming again to spam

you should try to add to your chat that a message can be posted every 2 seconds!

I'm not an admin, so I can't make changes to the site. I'm just making the best out of what I have, which is the permission to mute people. Tongue

He's welcome to come back with TOR.

While, as a fellow dev, I appreciate people being interested in this topic, this is sort of derailing the thread.

Did you clear the sites cache? It should work without any problems.
If somehow it still doesn't.. you could try the chathelper, I guess.

so in other words good computer practices voids the mute command, so there is not way to mute posters properly
so why is there a mute button at all?

No. That was just a shot in the dark by me, because I couldn't think of anything else that would break the mute button for you. Others are using it without problems, so it's unlikely that the functionality itself is somehow broken.

And how is clearing the cache related to good or bad practices in this case? Because you were asked to give it a shot to try and fix a problem?

Well the OP doesn't seem to care much about this thread either way.

What did you fix? The banner still overlaps with the right column.

How long are the banners going to stay up?
37  Economy / Auctions / Re: Selling advertisements on bitcoin faucet on: February 03, 2015, 09:19:16 AM
The 728 banner doesn't even fit where it's placed, except for the mobile layout.

If the overlapping is taken care of, I might be interested. How long would the banners stay up?

Is there a page for us to see our personal list of muted users?

If you use my inofficial chathelper, it keeps track of ignored and dropped users. The official mute does not, yet.
Link to the chathelper, in case you're interested: https://github.com/jetbtc/diggit-chathelper

I remember somebody sending a link in chat of a calculator for all digs and mine combinations on the site. It doens't seem to be linked here, is anybody able to post it?

This one, I guess: https://diggit.io/table.html
