This is not strictly Creeptopia's problem...
Now they are sitting on almost 1 billion and can not return to the users the coins that were lost in the limbo that they themselves fell.
A coin with almost 1 billion of Market Cap with only 1 exchange in the confines of new zealand and then the problem is only the Lord of the Rings?
This is unheard of in the market. Those who did not buy from ICO were forced to buy in this place. Who listed the coin there was the Gandalph or the London geniuses?
Why no other exchange was not interested in this project so revolutionary?
These are all good questions which I have no answers to and I can only assume things, just like you... First of all, there is no project/coin/team which will refund you because of some crappy exchange. Not a single one. So, don't expect this from ETN team either, no matter how "rich" they might be. I agree that it was the team's decision to list ETN on Shittopia only, but I don't see this as a "problem"... There are plenty of other teams who did this, I am part of a team with 2 projects/coins, and I am constantly bitching about listing on other exchanges, but sometimes it's not so simple (or cheap) as it seems... This doesn't mean that someone is trying to scam you or the project is not maintained or anything similar. Exchanges are not interested in any coin. They are interested only in FIAT currencies. Exchanges don't go around asking people if they can list their precious coin because it is so awesome. It is team's responsibility to list their coin on the exchange they like, and again, this is easier/harder to achieve from one exchange to the other... Hope I clarified some things for you now... |

They are rookies and have no clue how to code. all they are good at is marketing. look at it. Cloned monero, werent able to clone a monero wallet? with 40m USD raised? gimme a fucking break... You can disqualify the problem of users for fear that your investment will go down the drain. What you will not be able to change the facts with these arguments. I completely agree with you that this is completely screwed, unfair, crap and everything else, but this has nothing to do with Electroneum or the team behind it... I personally don't think that there's a single thing they can do about Shittopia's crappy platform. |

Day 23 will be 1 month I'm hoping to credit a deposit made from my wallet to Cryptopia. This happened to me and with several users and already a fact of knowledge of many users of this Thead.
I could say that it's just Cryptopia's fault. I could accuse them of SCAM, but they are an exchange used daily by several users of several currencies and I think the problem is much bigger.
Have you noticed that #ETN is the only crypto in the top 50 that is listed in only 1 exchange?
This is not normal.
Why no other exchanges listed a currency with more than 700,000,000 in Market Cap?
It is a project full of holes and dishonest promises like "mobile mining". ;D Electroneum is just a clone of Monero. If someone invented an app to mine Monero on the smartphone, why would you choose to mine Electroneum?
I do not believe it's possible to mine Monero on a smartphone. It seems to me that this is the kind of promise made to deceive users.
Cryptopia has responsibility too, I know.
But adding all this up with the problem we are facing here, only 2 possibilities comes to mind.
1 - The team of #ETN had no idea where they were getting into and ended up creating a product that does not work and only arrived where it arrived because of the Hype and the Tweet of John MCAfee and now do not know how to solve the problem.
2 - The project is a scam from the beginning. ::)
Cryptopia and Electroneum urgently needs to say why deposits and withdrawals made correctly with all correct data have not been credited in your account users
Is this a problem with Cryptopia or #ETN?

Hey dude, you definitely spend too much time shitposting about ETN. If you don't know how to use exchange, that's not the problem of ETN. If you don't know how crappy is the exchange you are using, that's not the problem of ETN. If you lost your money because you were not aware how crappy the exchange is, that's not the problem of ETN. If you cannot exchange this currency anywhere else except on the crappiest exchange there, well, this is STILL NOT the problem of ETN. If you don't understand the idea behind ETN, that's also not the problem of ETN. However you seem like a person with LOTS of problems, so I'd suggest you to either visit your doctor or your drug dealer. Please man, learn how to use Cryptopia first. Research all the problems they usually have with other coins and how to avoid them. Research about requirements for the coin you want to transfer there and only then transfer it, so you won't forget stupid payment ID. And for the sake of the common sense, please stop shittalking ETN without any reason. If you personally don't like it, just move away, no one is forcing you to participate in anything, really... |

I don't quite understand what are you trying to prove with last couple of posts? People who are into this stuff know since the day 1 that ETN is an XMR fork. No one ever tried to hide that. I don't see what's the problem with that since 99% of all coins are fork of something. If you don't trust me, check out other repositories and where does source code come originally. If you don't like the idea around ETN (no matter how stupid or smart it is) no one is forcing you join it. No one is forcing you to participate in this topic and spread hatred or whatever because you personally don't like ETN. If you have the excess of anger which you must direct somewhere, I'd recommend you to go to Bitconnect topic, there's plenty of good material there and arguments which you can exchange with smart asses there. If that won't be enough for you to get rid of your anger, I'd suggest to try with some other methods, like kickboxing, karate, judo, yoga, smoking weed, whatever... There are plenty of ways to get rid of your anger ;) If you lost some ETN in any way and bitching about it here now, sir, I have to tell you that this is your own personal problem, and that's not the reason to spread stupid posts here like you do, because they won't help literally no one. I know that some dudes were in with 100 K and even more. Some people sold houses and invested all money in this shit. Hi all! Wonder if anyone can help me figuring out why my balance always shows 0 ETN even tho I deposited few thousand ETN couple of days ago in my wallet... I started the electroneumd and the blockchain is fully synced. Started electroneum-wallet-cli afterwards, checked the balance, it says " Balance: 0.00, unlocked balance: 0.00". I tried to delete my wallet files and restore a wallet with mnemonic seed, but still showing 0.00 ETN. I tried to use rescan_bc command in my wallet, after rescan still shows 0.00 ETN. I can see the transaction and amount in blockchain explorer (using my private view key), but it just won't show up in my CLI wallet for some reason... What gives??  just to make sure, you can create a read only wallet, only with your view key and address. if you provide your viewkey and address i can check it for you, if you still cant recove your funds. Eh, well, I rebuilt the complete chain and everything seems fine now... Might be that during the initial synchronization, some things were corrupt due to accidental disconnecting of external disk where the chain was syncing... i guess you dont have the corrupted blockchain data by any chance? I supported another guy with the same isssue and it felt like a mystery how this can happen. If the blockchain is corrupt it normally just dont work at all, because there several checksum, which would fail. And if the wallet data is corrupted a rescan_bc would help, but it didnt. Yeah, rescan_bc didn't help, indeed. Unfortunately, I just deleted the old blockchain and replaced it with a new one couple of minutes ago ^^ |

I'm mining ETN for a month without a single problem... - Wallet is available, I am using it for almost a month, with some problems to be honest, but it works... - I am a developer of one coin myself and I am far away from hanging around here. Developers have better things to do than to hang around in bitcointalk and answer silly questions to people who are too lazy to research some stuff by themselves ;) If you want to find a developer, try to start with Github for example... What are the other problems that are bothering you? What does it mean "clown coin"? |

[10:19:15] Shares: 34 Accepted, 7 Errors | Hash Rate Avg: 9815.7 H/s | Avg Search Time: 23.9 sec and occasionally (but very rare): [10:29:46] New job received. Avg Job Time: 43.5 sec
[10:29:46] Difficulty changed. Now: 230021.
[10:29:46] GPU4 Found Nonce, job already changed -> outdated.
[10:29:46] Shares: 54 Accepted, 14 Errors | Hash Rate Avg: 9814.6 H/s | Avg Search Time: 24.8 sec Both 64s (I have 2x Vega 65 and 3x Vega 56) have same settings applied and this is happening on 1 of them. If something is wrong with settings, I assume that the other 64 would calculate it wrongly too, isn't it so? I tried to change the riser for this card and then it worked briefly. After next reboot I started to see "Rejected" message again. I tried to switch the position for both 64s but still the same card was reporting the error (this time it was GPU3). Thanks for any tips! Hm, I'm still struggling with this card (not that I tried to fix it since the original post), can anyone suggest what else I might try to fix this? Again, tried to replace riser, tried to switch MBO slot, tried to play with overclocking but nothing helped... I even tried to apply stock settings to get at least some result, but literally nothing helped :/ Please, any suggestion, help, tip is more than appreciated!! Thanks a bunch! Maybe it failed math class? Does it do it if you run it alone? Hehe, that was my first thought, but yeah, it cannot be so stupid, can it?? :D I did try to run it alone, had the same problem... Other cards were plugged in tho, they were just not mining... Not sure how much difference does that make? |
