21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: March 29, 2018, 11:25:42 AM
I have a question.

What is better? To keep your coins on some Exchange site or to open wallets for each coin?

I would like to hear some advice.  What are pros & cons of each option?

Thanks
depends on you needs from the coin it self, hold it in the wallet much better and safe than the exchange and transfer with less fees possible, the exchange opening through the email confirmation and there is some people can hack your email and open your exchange account, but the key is to hard to get it for them, another thing is some times exchanges changes their rules and they can bans your account or freeze it and you can retrieve it after many procedures and that not good and that's can forbid you from a decisive moments when you want to sell.
Wallets much better for hold and it's more safe and exchange only for trading.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So why Altcoins exist ?? on: March 29, 2018, 11:03:33 AM
the altcoins offer special and unique features and focus on specific problems and issues in the real world or in the cryptocurrency one. all of the cryptocurrencies are an implementation of the the block chain technology. saying we should only have bitcoin is like saying we should only have the iphone for touch screen technologies.
Regarding the projects, and its objectives, there is many project has not any problems to resolve and no meaning of being in the existence.

I don't disagree with that, in fact I think 80-90% of coins are scams and people fall for them because of greed.
i the think that many projects of altcoins are honest and they are treat a real problems as ethereum and litecoin and many others, from another hand they stays as investments, anything is possible in the investmen people can win and lose money, but when we speak technically i think yes many project may they are better than bitcoin functions like speed and wallets and objectives and blockchain options and mining execution.
They say that the difference is grace.

Altcoins prices push the price of bitcoin up and down !!
if Altcoin is a simulation of bitcoin's path, so why not just bitcoin enough ??

Any altcoin owns its name, project and ideas, so why that altcoins are related in the pricing with bitcoin ??
if you are saying why altcoin exist, it means you are automaticallysaying why Ethereum, why Bitcoin Cash etc etc. bitcoin has it is purpose, that is why it came into exist, while it purpose is been neglected, Bitcoin Cash came into exist to correct some of these error.
every altcoin has it unique purpose of been into existence just like bitcoin. and the existence of altcoins has nothing to do with the bitcoin market fluctuation. this is one thing every decentralize currency will always experience "Market Fluctuation"
yes that is reasonable, but the unknown thing in my thought is why all of altcoins affected by the value of bitcoin in the market, i think that because of the bitcoin is the principal peer of altcoins, so the altcoins do not affect themselves but the exchange is forced upon them to follow the basic value of trading depens on bitcoin.

This theory does not and cannot exist in the life of humanity.
One of the characteristics of living things is that they die.It is
an inevitable natural course instituted by the creator. No matter how
hard science tries, human or living cells die.Summarily, living things
inclusive of mankind must obey the natural law.Immortality is probably
for inorganic matter and other realms of existence.

No it's not. There are animals that are biological immortal. https://www.rd.com/culture/animals-that-live-forever/
yes that's so true and why not hybridization our DNA from this creatures, every thing is possible.

This is really a sad news for cryptos currency because Twitter is the most popular social way to advertise Bitcoin and altcoins also.
I think there should be a soultion for this banned because this could damage so much to the cryptocurrency market.
it's not that big sadness, we still have bounties, everything gonna be stable, only news affects on the market few days.

the must important is how much followers you have in you twitter account, you can participate even if you are newbie.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a beginner is it too late ? on: March 28, 2018, 12:30:51 PM
especially bitcoin !! i think the prediction is difficult, what if the price raise again ? wat if it will drop more than now? in the investment aspect it's yes and no.

but in the crypto world it's possible to become rich into some new projects with creativity and new technologies, honestly it's not easy but it possible, many investors multiplied their fortunes a hundred times, and others lost everything, paradise and hell in the same where.

Well only God is immortal
It is written man will die once and after death judgement.
No matter how hard the scientists try no one can live forever.
Eventually if they invented something to elongate lifes it'll be super expensive. So to cap it all human's immortality is not a issue to discuss at all
of course that is what the majority believes right now, but if we go back into the time a few centuries we will consider that our actual life it's as a block of miracles. everything is possible with science.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter banned cryptocurrencies Ads on: March 28, 2018, 12:01:19 PM
That's bad news for me because I work hard to have a many followers and I apply many twitter campaign. But I hope that they will not banned my account. As of now I can post about my campaigns. I think it's very useful because they remove all spamming accounts. If the result of that is very good then I agree with the twitter team.
i think that it's not about bans accounts, the bounty stays work always, i think that they target the paid advertising for the company, for example google company they will never accept Ads for ICO's and cryptocurrencies in google adsense as long as the ban is  in force , but everyone can launch an video for any coin he want in youtube.

i did not understand how Proof-of-Stake is executed by miners who put a number of their coins on a block to check transaction blocks.
In POS systems the block validators are usually called Forgers, and it usually works by them sending their coins to a smart contract address (or something similar),  to "stake" it, so they stand to lose their coins of they behave dishonestly.

Quote
If we have the same number of miners in the blockchain, whether mining on PoW or PoS, what makes the difference if the number of the transactions stays the same ??
POW blockchains usually have low TPS because of the fairly "large" time between blocks and the block size.
The block time is usually long enough to give the miners enough time to find the solution to the block, and also to give time for the completed block to propagate throughout the network (latency)

POS systems do not need have mining computation so they don't have to give time for a block solution to be found. Therefore, the block time can be reduced which usually increases the number of transactions the blockchain can process.
Your words are very useful, in fact everything is clear about PoW, but PoS ! is it illegal or piracy or something like gambling...
PoS miners use their own coins for attracting fees of transactions ?? it's not clear enough for me.

Twitter will follow Google and Facebook's lead in banning cryptocurrency ads.

The ban will roll out Tuesday, and become fully enforceable for all advertisers within a month, including initial coin offerings and token sales.

It will also cover ads by cryptocurrency exchanges and cryptocurrency wallet services.

Is that a problem for bitcoin too or only ICO's ??

There's any link on this or just a speculation? Seem there's no news break on the web anyway.
that is true , take a link from CNN:

Its only happen only on ICOs. After many happen scam ICOs, some social media platform banning ICOs ads to protect their user from being deceived. That will effect to start up with good project want to lauch their ICO
i hope so, from another hand i can say that this bans of all cryptocurrencies from social media it's reasonable because of many fake projects which inflicted heavy losses on people, we are parties of this community of crypto, we have to find a way to ban all the unoriginal developers.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Pow and Pos. on: March 28, 2018, 08:14:18 AM
PoW is a protocol designed primarily to prevent and deter cyber-attacks on the network (in fact, it has an exorbitant cost to try to make attacks, much more than what someone would earn from that), and it also allows a distributed consensus of “trustless” transactions.

PoS is also a system for validating transactions, so the purpose is the same as the PoW, but the result is obtained in a different way.
The miner is chosen deterministically by the algorithm based on the amount of coins he owns, for long time he owns them, and other factors based on how the algorithm is structured

i found this article here : https://medium.com/novamining/main-differences-between-pow-and-pos-cryptocurrency-mining-c4cc279d9739

but honesty i did not understand clearly PoS in the part of getting commissions from all the transactions in the blockchain where this coin belongs,  i did not understand how Proof-of-Stake is executed by miners who put a number of their coins on a block to check transaction blocks.

If we have the same number of miners in the blockchain, whether mining on PoW or PoS, what makes the difference if the number of the transactions stays the same ??
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to get involved into Bitcoin? on: March 28, 2018, 12:47:20 AM
thinking about death of Satoshi it's not a negative point, On the contrary the liquidity will be reduced to 20M ,  that is gonna be good for the price.

the other thing, this is the  the beginning of bitcoin, you are so early.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter banned cryptocurrencies Ads on: March 28, 2018, 12:35:02 AM
What?! Before, facebook and google and then now, twitter? Is that true?! (I can't verify it for myself because i don't have a twitter account).

If this news is legit then I'm pretty sure that it will greatly affect ICO's sales because some of them have twitter campaigns. On the other hand, i don't think btc will be affected since it is already well known compare to alts.
yes that true and in fact they did it.

EOS is the best token's project in ethereum blockchain ever, what's make it the best ?
is the idea ? horizontal and vertical architecture !!
or the honesty in the work and the confidence !
this project inspired me.

I doubt that such technology would be released in masses. It would be used by chosen to rule the humanity. Undecided
I think it will be the quantitative physics, but i'm not sure exactly how the principle works and if it affects human rights or not !!
40  Other / Off-topic / Human's immortality on: March 27, 2018, 10:10:36 PM
Immortality is eternal life, being exempt from death, unending existence.

Certain scientists, futurists, and philosophers have theorized about the immortality of the human body, with some suggesting that human immortality may be achievable in the first few decades of the 21st century.

On the other hand, some believe that death is a divine blessing  and eternal life will lead to the fullness of the earth and systemic disorder.
