lol someone is stealing my hash rate. on two rigs gpu 1 have a same hash rate of 1mh/s
Either is claymore or windows.

I guess they are 4GB GPUs, if so read a few pages back

i have a simple question for someone im sure.

i almost always us phoenix miner.

i want to know if there is a command to show me how many shares each of the cards is getting.
claymore only gives me a total and doesn't break it down like phoenix does.
and as well what is the command to stop it from writing a log file after every session?
thanks in advance

For detailed statistics press "s" key while it running.
Start it with "-dbg -1" option for no log file and no debug messages.

You can find these informations and more in readme file.

version 15 works correctly up to the 376 epoch. The new version is not needed yet

when using Windows the first GPU takes something like 140-150 MB more video memory on top of the other ones that are just mining, so with that the actually used video memory gets closer to the 4GB limit and instead of 20-30 MH/s you might be getting just 1-2 MH/s for the first GPU and soon it might even stop working.

First GPU always use more video memory for system stuff.
So the main problem does not depend on CM version but on size of the DAG file required to mine etherium and loaded into the GPU memory. The DAG size increases by 8MB in a few days when the epoch changes. Therefore it's inevitable that soon 4GB GPUs will no longer be able to mine ETH, as happened in the past years for the 2GB / 3GB GPUs.

In short term some workarounds could be:
1) Use a different PCI slot (different from first: PCIx16_1) for 4GB GPUs or enable integrated GPU.
2) Switch to linux which uses less memory for first GPU.

Personally, although I am still able to mine ETH with CM 15 / WIN10 even with a 4GB GPU in first PCI slot, sometimes when the epoch changes the hashrate decreases, I have to manually restart CM or Windows. In my case, other miners no longer work for 4GB GPU: they already start working with a low hashrate.

Claymore live or died?

Last Active:   November 11, 2019, 06:37:41 PM

Claymore is not working on this forum on his miner
If you want to weep an eye on what is he doing, follow him on github https://github.com/...BANNED!...., the last update was 25 days ago

Cheers!

Yes Cheesy, readme was updated few days ago and it's the only one update in about 50 commits. At least they hijacked devfee on their wallets. It's a SCAM !
Trusted download of CM 15 is only on first page of this topic.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU hash rate being cut in half after a few hours of mining. on: March 15, 2020, 02:56:54 AM
Googling "hwinfo", download the software and use it while you are mining with stock settings (no OC/UV), to check if the card has "GPU memory errors" (in sensors status).

I don’t see any errors but now the card stops mining after about an hour with an error on the miner stating gpu error restart miner. So I guess it’s a defective card?

Weird, but I think so.
Ask for replacement.

Different mem would be apparent from the start and wouldn't explain the drop
over time.

It's a new card, I would have returned it by now.

one could handle the clock.

the other does not. while you may say it means one is defective. it could mean one is great and the other is average.

I do agree if it is new he should return it as it is the same make and model. it should match the stats of the other.

if he gets a replacement he can then tell if the cards preform equally.

Totally agree.

If hashrate decrease it probably means that the card has memory errors. If this also happens with stock settings then the card is defective.
Did you check the GPU memory errors with HWinfo?

Yes. We had to reinstall Linux on the server...

Thanks for information. It's ok now.

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: riser led (12v) no longer lights up on: April 15, 2019, 08:48:08 PM
Thank you all for your advice and comments.

After 2 days I noticed that one of the two faulty LEDs is sometimes lit.
Therefore I believe that adaseb analysis is right.

Regarding the saving, I believe it is negligible.

PS:
I also thought about breaking all 6 LEDs, but that wouldn't have helped me be profitable right now.  Grin
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / riser led (12v) no longer lights up on: April 14, 2019, 05:49:32 PM
In one of my rigs with only 3 GPUs I'm using (for about 6 months) risers version 009s that have 2 LEDs (red 3.3v, blue 12v).
After a periodic maintenance (cleaning) the blue LEDs (12v) of two risers do not light up anymore even though for now everything works well as before, global average hashrate has not changed.

Does anyone know if I still have to replace them?

Yes, it's a tar.gz
sudo tar -zxf ...  Roll Eyes
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.9 (Windows/Linux) on: July 26, 2018, 10:41:40 PM

Please help, I've downloaded v11.0/.7/.8/.9 from the google drive link above. When I try to unpack I am getting this error on Xbuntu:

:~/Downloads$ sudo tar -xvf Claymore.s.Dual.Ethereum.Decred_Siacoin_Lbry_Pascal_Blake2s_Keccak.AMD.NVDIA.GP U.Miner.v11.9-LINUX.tar.gz -C /usr/local/claymore11.9
tar: This does not look like a tar archive

gzip: stdin: not in gzip format
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now

when I try unpacking in the Xbuntu gui I get this response:

an error occurred while loading the archive utf-8

the results are the same regardless of which file version I try.  Huh

Thank you for any help in resolving this!!!

Try to download from mega using Firefox
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.6.4 on: July 21, 2018, 11:50:22 AM
I have the problem on mining masari (masari.miner.rocks). the miner show normal but no hashrate submit to the pool.

well you have to check your wallet then Smiley

i use integrated wallet from tradeogre exchange, will it be the problem.

yes many pool dont work with this integrated wallets...just try an normal wallet or masari online wallet...that works fine

But it still work on other tools like xmrig, xmrigcc or cast-xmr. not work only on srb tools

I do not think this is the problem, using version 1.6.4 I mined a few days directly on the tradeogre wallet and with that pool (masari.miner.rocks), without any problem.

edit: tried to use double threads? what is your worksize?
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.9 (Windows/Linux) on: July 21, 2018, 11:23:36 AM
....

What led me to github rather than megashare or googledrive was by doing a google search for the miner.  The github search result was one of the ones listed.  I somehow went with version 11.8, not 11.9.  I upgraded from 10.1

Yes, you've probably downloaded a hacked version (never seen official versions of claymore on github)

Alright, so I'm trying to update my miner to the latest version but it doesn't matter which one I download when I execute the .bat it says "...Claymore miner v 8.1" even if I download the v.11.0 or the 11.9"
Anybody can tell me how to download and install the latest version? The old ones doesn't work right now, thank you so much!

Go to the first page of this thread where official links for download are indicated.

For both:
The first rule to follow is always to download the miners from official links indicated by the developer.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.9 (Windows/Linux) on: July 20, 2018, 11:02:21 PM

All of my miners just went down.  I have been on 9.0 for about a year so I came here.  Guess the fix is to upgrade all to 11.x?
Thanks.

I'm using v11.8 since release date without any issue.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PCIe Riser Version Differences? on: July 16, 2018, 12:57:53 AM
I'm using VER 009s with (1x) 6pin PCIE and they work fine.
I ordered them on amazon 2 months ago.
They arrived with slot riser card VER 008S.

U can enable “show bus I’ds” in the ODT settings :-)

i dont have that setting for some reason on my rigs, am using OverdriveNTools

Open OverDrivenTool > right click on title bar > settings > enable: show.. bus number > restart OverDrivenTool
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.5.8 on: June 03, 2018, 08:53:03 PM
all rigs -> v1.5.8

Thanks again doktor  Smiley

Hi,

everytime I try this or Avermore after some time some cards are off/dead. played with -X and -I or- -g but no difference. other/former versions of sgminer or GG never had this problem.
any ideas?

BTW.
I started to follow the build instructions in VS, but stuck, may I ask for more detailed despription, especially the part "4. PDCurses", what win32 folder?

Try a less greedy OC / UV especially if you have mod cards

buddy, that's a
stupid comment, as I said other miners with same same settings don't fuck up, also algos like neoscrypt, phi (bitbandi), xevan, etc.

which sounds like comparing apples with bananas.
Different miners even to solve same algos use different kernels.
