It is not very likely that they will succeed - but of course they may try, at least in some countries. I think Zimbawe already tried. The result is that Bitcoin is now more expensive there.

Maybe,there is a possibility, but not for all countries,in some other countries as far as I know bitcoin is already banned. In other countries as what I heard bitcoin is illlegal. There is a possibility that it will be banned because government is not earning taxes or cannot get tax in bitcoin.but in the furture goverment will get some tax rulls definitly.bcz if not there stock market will get down.
At the current rate i don't think it can be stopped anymore. Its only during a fall and outburst of normal people will the coin be banned. |

So following this up-trend many are happy especially for those who have been invested in it from those days when it was hovering around 1000$ a year ago and rose up by 900%+ within a year. It is still a profitable investment for those who instead of having stable increase like the gold or the land.
But due its virtual nature many have been hesitant too but they also are investing in it. So everything above is good, then what is bad about it.
Whoever has been involved into trading knows this, that trading always is driving by emotions and memories as one of their features apart from the market cap, no. of investors and all. To understand that lets look at this chart from the Year 2013 And then look at the chart from the year 2019 Ignore the small ups and downs in the year 2019 which obviously is because of many other factors but the chart growth is nearly the same. So what is bad now. Now lets look at the chart of 2013 that later to the highest growth it received.  This followed a serious down-trend as many have been dropping there balls to buy low. Will this again happen.?? Will the prices drop to 30 % or 50 % or more. Lets us watch together and see. Until then Hail Bitcoin!!!  BTCBTCBTCBTC

Probably yes. And what we do see these days again? Bitcoin Cash has been growing again, and very, very fast. Probably many of us were mistaken to call this cryptocurrency the next bubble or even a scam? Many crypto currencies which have been called in past as scam have been doing good too. Atleast for time being. And those which had lot of hopes upon have reached rock bottom. So its always a better idea to diversify your investments. |

Surely, governements will try to stop somehow; but due to the very nature of bitcoin, it will be pretty impossible.
They can only stop bitcoin use in usual economy, not in deep web
The more they stop is when the more expensive it becomes. History is the answer, whatever has been banned and legal in some places is really expensive to get hands on. The main problem or cause I can see if it's anonymity; governments can't track down Its users and thus even criminals can evade detection. That's why, I believe, Russia is planning to create Its own cryptocurrency known as the Rubblecoin to deal with this threat. Even China is very critical on Bitcoin, with strict laws on it. But Bitcoin will continue going strong.
More than anonymity, i believe governments are more afraid due to the transparency in this transactional technology which will not allow various governments to get away with the scams. |

Bitcoin cash is something that is more likely to fall or fail badly sooner or later. So many things about it just doesn't make sense or add up. And i am talking about fundamentals here.
Since the very beginning i already saw this. Which is why i never even bothered getting my share of bitcoin cash in my btc holdings. Since i do not wamt to support it. Same goes to bitcoin gold which is worse than bitcoin cash in my opinion.
But hey, we all see things differently, so i respect your stand about this. Just wanted to share mine.

The thing is bitcoin cash has massive support by people in China from what I heard. Bitcoin cash will be getting more and more support as it was the only successful fork of bitcoin, so now what people think is that bitcoin cash has become trustworthy now and it is definitely worth investing. Bitcoin cash is easier to mine and also there are many more rumors spread across which also played a part in the pump, not to forget the whales and the initial supporters bitmain and the miner's tool antminer which gives amazing profit to them. BITMAIN is one the reason I have some faith that the price would increase, as Jihan Wu is supporting it. Definitely it wouldn't surpass the biggest names in the crypto space but it surely would come back with another pump. |

the big boy BTC will stay that is for sure. and is getting strong. it was not badly effected after the BCH rush. one thing for certain is that BCH was a bubble and the prove is that massive drop right after the climb. heck transactions were very slow some jumped in when it was low by the time the transaction got it was too late. the exchanges that performed faster made their users richer.
Many exchanges actually crashed or didn't allow trading on BCH for some time when the price of the coin was going up. All coins have pumps and dumps. Many "investors" in the crypto space are newbies and get caught in the middle of them. In my opinion real millionaires have been made by holding (for instance Bitcoin), not by trading it.
I do not think trading doesn't make one a millionaire, infact people who got into it earlier or people who having been trading recently are the ones who made big. My biggest fear with these huge pumps and dumps is, how badly Siacoin seen the floor, i'm scared if BCH will also loose its sheen. |
