A sad last ditch effort..... lol, good luck finding some other suckers..... especially with 10G/H Blades for 4.2 BTC on BTC guild now...lol I can't believe you guys are still trying sluff these off to someone else....where is your ethics....

Hey maybe this guy that goes by the name of Amir will buy them from you?

The only good news there is chances are who ever is trying to be played will be able to get money back.  To who ever listed on ebay.... sorry to tell you but paypal will take the money back after you can't deliver.

I don't think anyone would even buy a order at a huge discount at this point.  Just has gone to far. If you are able to sell a TH order for even 25 percent of what you paid on here i would be shocked.

Their is one born every day that will buy them.  I saw an in hand  5 GHZ BFL go for thousands. Some just want to have one and don't have a clue. If Bitcoin goes up enough it just might make them accidentally rich.

If it's not in hand it is a much harder sell. If you're one of the first in line, your pre order is worth more on ebay.

Except with TH your order is worth $0 because majority of people know you will never get them Wink

With TH you're the first loser foolish enough to board the train wreck.  Cheesy Cheesy

Not necessarily. Lets be serious. They seemed pretty damn legit at the beginning!

I've been actively trying to reach out to Terrahash in all of the public ways (and some not so public which I'm sure they wouldn't want me to release on these boards).

If I don't get a response from them soon with what is going on then they are opening themselves up for a lot more trouble than I think they would like.

Please PM me your Skype so I can get in contact with you. I would like to give you a call this Monday and just chat some things trough? If you have time that it, it would be much appreciated.

I am really grateful for your efforts in helping us all here. Even though some might not notice, I really appreciate your work and efforts!

Please PM me with your Skype name Smiley

If you can't get a refund any other way, you might consider small claims court, which is specifically designed for problems like this where the $ amount is <$10,000.

In most states, you don't need a lawyer.  In fact, in many states you can't use a lawyer.  Also, as a buyer of a product, you can file in the state where you purchased.  In other words, you don't need to file in the state where the seller is located.

The process is fairly straight forward.  1) Send a letter of intent to the seller.  2) File with the small claims court.  3) Serve the party you are suing.  4) Collect your Evidence. (Sales contract, order status, etc)  5) Go to the court hearing.    This is all do-it-yourself.  You don't need to pay $500 per hour to an attorney.

If the party you are suing fails to show at the hearing, then you may win by default.  This works well for parties that just don't bother to respond to their customers because the lack of response works in favor of the customer in this instance.

Can I do this if I live in Canada? Plus, if BBB can't reach them what guarantee do we have that we will get our money back this way?
27  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 20, 2013, 04:31:13 PM
I am from Europe and I paid in Bitcoin - I am willing to contribute to the lawyer's payment, provided he can do something for me too and that he accepts as a payment a percentage of my paid capital to TH (10% of 3000$), in case he successfully claims it from them.

I'd like to join. Count me in!
Enough of this shit

Enough of what shit?

Sigh. I guess we all got scammed. I doubt we will hear from TH again. Little shit. I can't believe what people in this world can get away with. What a joke. Does he not feel bad for fu*king over hundreds of customers? He's so unprofessional about it too.

It hurts me to know that he is getting away with such a crime!

Guys, lets doing something collectively instead on sitting on our ass.

Knight does any of these looks familiar?

The mod should also have the ip login history of terrahash account that could be traced back to a location hopefully his home. I will ask the mod about this.

Let's start filing fraud complaint. The more ppl the better:

http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

Lets think about any other ways guys.

I was thinking going the law rode? But I believe someone suggested it would be too hard to do? No? If we could all pitch in a little bit maybe we can organize a lawyer to represent everyone? If we can find where he lives that's even better, then for sure he will shit his pants and maybe offer people refunds? Don't want angry people knocking on your door with wepons... Lol

EDIT: Filed complaint on both of the websites you posted hchc. Thanks.

Regarding the project as a whole. Since Yifu is offering chip refunds now, we can go that route. But as you know, chips were only about 50-60% cost in our operation, that is all we would be able to refund everyone.

Another option is to get a refund now, and buy the Gen 2 chips in October. Yifu has announced that the Gen 2 chips will be fully compatible with Gen 1. So, we would be able to use the current boards, heat sinks, cases and most (if not all) of the components. And everyone will get about 8-10 times more hashing power for same price. (This is just an estimate, we will get more details once he releases the specs.) And we'll get another month and a half to sort out the issues with the current design. Instead of depending upon BkkCoins this time, we will hire people here to build upon and improve his design. We will open source everything we do.

I'm sorry... I've tried to be fair about the fact that the current situation isn't your fault (though as you've admitted in this thread that doesn't change your obligations), but seriously?  Would you honestly trust Bitsyncom to deliver gen 2 chips on time, after the miserable clusterfuck that the existing order has become?  Would you seriously ask any of your customers to extend that trust not only to you, but by extension to Bitsyncom?

Sure Bitsyncom, you fucked us once and caused a lot of damage to our relationship with our customers, but we'll go ahead and order from you for gen 2 and trust you again!  Wait, what?

It's all good and fine to try to have some optimism, but just like the first time around, you either don't mention (or downplay) the risks of chips not being delivered on time/at all.  You come across as "oh we will have these at X time" rather than "we believe we should have these at X time, but the risk is if they don't show up everyone's just stuck".  While people *should* know this, and most probably do, some don't and even some who do will take that as a sign that you have a reason to be confident that chips will be delivered on time.  That's reinforced by the statement that you'll get an extra month and a half to work out board problems, rather than you'll get an extra month and a half or however long it takes chips to arrive.  It sets people's expectations, and then there's horrible blowout when those expectations are not met.

I gotta call a spade a spade here... I get the impression that there's a lack of lessons being learned and heeded right now.  This being one of the ones that's lacking.

Of course, we do not and would never trust him. He says he will not take pre-orders and only sell chips when they are ready. So, once he starts taking orders, we will send someone down there to verify that the chips exist, make the payment, and bring the chips back with them. If we get a refund, we are not going to make the same mistake again.

Yeah, same here. Same here. I'm sure noone else will make the same mistake to purchase with you ever again. Except people who paid in BTC and wire transfer (me, cause I'm an idiot) will most likely never get the refund.
31  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 19, 2013, 04:39:39 AM
I can't believe this bull sh*t. This is unreal. Bar, if you are actually successfully auctioning off your orders please send me a PM on a way to do it. I paid 2800 for mine but I will be okay to sell it for 2500, heck even 2000 just to get it out of my hands?

Thanks Bar.
32  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] TerraHash - Order # 1230 - 3x K64 Boards (54 GHash/s) - $800 Discount! on: September 18, 2013, 02:02:56 PM

Mod note: TerraHash will not deliver any of its ASICs https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=198489.msg3233704#msg3233704

Hey, as the title says I am selling my TerraHash order. The order is all paid for and as you can view in the picture it is "processing".

Picture: http://gyazo.com/39c5c7b3f5e7fbffed2cdf4f7cab525b

I am selling it for only $2000 USD and you will have to pay the shipping (I will try hard to convince TerraHash to change the shipping address to yours so you can receive it faster). If I am not able to get the address changed (it is a possibility) I will be sending it the very same day I receive the order.

I am in desperate need for money at the moment, that is why I am selling it for a lot cheaper then I got it for.

I will not be offering a refund for any reason what so ever. If you purchase it, it is yours. Purchase is final.

I will however be accepting PayPal, Wire Transfer, or any other method you have in mind, and of course I will accept BTC (We will convert $2000 USD into Bitcoins at the time of the purchase).

I live in Canada so if you do decide to pay via PayPal, Wire Transfer, etc we will convert $2000 USD to CAD that way I can avoid loosing a lot at my local bank conversions.

Please contact me via a PM here.

Thanks a lot for reading, it is much appreciated,

Filip K. (Shimple)

No communication with customers, wont communicate with the BBB, wont communicate with other devs, wont return phone calls, no voicemail setup, wont respond to support tickets, etc, etc, etc, how can you possibly not label them a scam?

Right? I can't believe people are still backig them up!? Like what the ef?

We should definitely start a group sue? This is just getting too much now.
34  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 16, 2013, 08:04:27 PM
I see a few people are organizing groups to sue one of the companies out there. I believe it was Yusif or whatever his name is. Has anyone here taught about taking legal action against them? I might just get a lawyer to send them a letter or something. Maybe take it to the next step. The fact that hchc has SENT them chips for his board and STILL has not gotten it is ridicules. On top of that, the fact that they are absolutely IGNORING everyone here, even hchc who has sent HIS chips in? What the ef? Really TH?

Give us an update or a refund. Enough is enough. What you are running is not a business. This is bull sh*t.

Sincerely,

Very pissed off customer!
35  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 16, 2013, 04:52:29 PM
I've always disagreed that Terrahash is a scam, I still disagree that they are. A poorly run business and a scam are two different things.

The end result is the same. Customers get screwed.

Somewhat,

In a scam you are likely to never get your money back.

With a poorly run business, you will eventually get a product or get all/some of your money back which is what we're trying to accomplish right now.

Which will generate negative outcome. Yeah, pretty much the same thing as a scam :) Lol. :/

You assume the product you will get is the same one you purchased and not the next generation. That being said, no one guaranteed you a ROI, that's how this game works.

Yes, but like you said. Scam is getting no money back. If they ever ship the product, which is going to be in months it will be worth $0. So technically its the same as getting scammed.

Had they had more communication, posting issues etc they would have been able to figure it out by now with the sample boards they had but they completely suck at communication.

yes, paypal sent me to originating bank\cc\issuer.
beyond 45 days paypal 'policy'
waiting on my cc's 'investigation process' now.

Guys sorry, I have tried not to stick my nose in here, but please explain why those of you who want refunds have not started the process with Paypal?

I guess most of us who want refund where not using Paypal .... I payed in BTC so Paypal does not apply ...

Also,
I believe that any of the early terrahash orders are out of paypal policy now... 45 days iir.

Keep calling a different rep.

If you paid in BTC or Wire Transfer like I did, your done. You won't be getting a refund from them. It's game over. They will declere bankruptcy soon an GG. That's it. You learn the lesson the hard way. Don't buy if the company does not have paypal :/

Any news from hchc?  It's 2 weeks already.  He should have received his k16 by now.

TH has a few more hours to ship the boards.

Timer removed. End time: 2013-09-13+24:00:00EDT

Nope no response from my multiple IMs last couple days. Last they told me they are "assembling" my boards to be ship out end of this week. Dunno what board, might as well be a bunch of cardboard  Cheesy

So it's official. TH has FAILED. The clock is actually being generous. My chips has been in their possession for more than 15 days. And I'm willing to compensate for their incompetence by accepting K16 instead of K64 (by buying extra hubs and cables). They claim a lot of things and succeed in none. But what can we do? We are being held hostage at this point. They don't even have the gut to speak up. The only saving grace for them is to overnight my order over the weekend but that is wishful thinking. Have a good weekend guys.

I would be okay with them shipping me 4 individual K16 boards and not one K64... But for some reason they don't want to. Just pure BS in my books. Sh*t company with service and making of boards.
