Has there been any word on the V1->V2 M-board upgrade plan?

My guess is that a lot of us V1 owners who ordered August starter kits also ordered October H-boards. It would seem logical then to include the V2 M-boards when our October H-boards ship out. I personally am content with the V1 M-board, and would be in no rush to have it replaced. It seems silly in my opinion to have to send out an M-board with no hashing power, aside from for those customers who did not place additional orders.

Punin has announced today that BFSB starts shipping again next week!

Update
I had to take a few days off after my trip to Ukraine to be with my family and get some time to relax and get a few full nights of good sleep. I'm feeling all energized as a Jack Russell Terrier now, so I'm back in work-mode. I'm starting by going through paperwork and mails.

While I was on my trip, my team had made great progress with software, and we're now able to produce much more stable rigs without excessive tweaking.

We plan to start shipping next week!

Dave, how about you?  Cheesy

I have 3 orders in the 190s.  Hopefully mine will ship within the first couple of days once MGP start up again.  Oh so excited!  I hope 200THs doesn't get in the way.  Wink

We will definitely be waiting a bit on 200TH. I don't think we can expect to see October shipments while the mine is under 100TH, possibly not until the full 200TH are online.

Forgot a step....
Change pools - start hashing into  your own accounts instead of Daves

Haha, I wonder if there is anyone who forgot that step.

Just got my starter kit this morning and got it set up (order #89). Just a single H-board, no EOL. Reported noncerate is 26.872GH/s and 25.483GH/s on the pool. It's only been running for about 10 minutes, so I will update later after it has been running for a few hours.

I am very happy with Bitfury and MegaBigPower. Great job to everyone involved.

A few hours later, things are still looking good. 27.144GH/s noncerate and 26.915GH/s with diff 32 on BTC Guild.

800 GH/s in October, here I come !

Thanks Dave, Punin, Bitfury, cscape, and everyone else involved with realizing this project. Very exciting times !

Wow, I hope this works out for you with the insane difficulty increases that are coming. Let the record show that with that 16k you could have bought over ~133 BTC at $120 each. Do you honestly think these units will ever mine over 133 BTC?

I don't think he cares.  He's bought a crap load of USB eruptors in the past so I don't think ROI is important for him and it's probably more a pricy hobby.

You guys are funny. Even with the genesis blocks ridiculous assumption of a linear growth with difficulty. A positive ROI is almost guaranteed with Bitfury, as long as BTC stays above $100 and delivery of Oct units happens early Oct.

There will likely be three difficulty increases between October 1st and October 31st. If he gets his units on October 1st, he'll likely make a decent ROI. If he gets them on October 31st, he'll likely lose money unless BTC goes up in value.

Did BuzzDave give any indication on exactly what October delivery means, or is it simply anytime between October 1st and October 31st? There is a huge difference in potential earnings depending on when these units are delivered in October.

Dave had said it would be near the end of October a while back. I'm not sure if that still stands or not, but I do know the 200 TH mine will have priority over the October orders, as it was already delayed once for the August orders.

it seems the hashrate is going up and up, good to see it.

The hashrate is exactly zero. Precisely so.

If you suggest there is no hashrate, are you implying that they are paying dividends out of pocket?

My starter kit (order #89) is sitting at a FedEx sorting facility 10 minutes away from me. I'm too impatient to wait until Monday night when I know it is that close...  Undecided

I put in a request to hold at a location that is open 24 hours. Here's to hoping they move it there and have it ready for me by the end of today.

I called and they said it is still sitting at the airport. I won't be able to get it until Monday.  Sad

I assume the 100Th mine will eventually solo-mine, but the regular dividents at this stage would suggest pooled mining, which pool is in use ?

BTC Guild was the guess as of a couple pages back. User 50274 is now up to first place, with close to 20 TH.

3.73 x 24 as daily mining income from what it looks like right now, so around 12-14 TH online it seems.
Looking at blockchain addressess it may be a user 50274 at btcguild. 15TH/s 2nd  place. It's low user number (but <40 blocks found) so it may be an old Dave account.

I guess MBP is really busy, I'm trying to get through to make an order for October.  Anyone trying to do the same?

Better hurry - there are only 35 October hashing cards left...

34 Smiley

and down to 16...

Indeed the site is up. I was able to log in.

Order #89 shipped.  Smiley

Thanks again to Yvonne for catching my address mistake, verifying my correct address, and still shipping in a timely manner.

I'm still "ready to ship".  Shocked Darn you high priority people. Sad

I'm in the same boat. I'm under the assumption that it has already shipped, based on what Dave had said last night. They just haven't gotten us tracking numbers yet.
34  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: September 05, 2013, 02:23:27 AM
Everything marked ready to ship is out the door by now - so for you guys, we owe you tracking numbers...trying to get those sent tonight!

Quite reassuring, glad to hear it Dave. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to keep us up to date on these forums. It seems as though everyone starts to get anxious as soon as we go 24 hours without an update.
35  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: September 05, 2013, 01:51:29 AM
Humph.  Order 76 and 78 still just "ready to ship"....

Order #89 still "ready to ship" as well. Are all of those that are now shipping people who paid for express? I chose not to upgrade.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Profit-switch][1.5%fee] multipool.us:Always mine the most profitable coin on: September 04, 2013, 02:16:55 AM
It doesnt seem to be very lucrative to mine TRC though.
:/

Otherwise, this is a pretty sweet pool.

The multiport pool doesn't switch to the SHA-256 coins, so no need to worry about TRC or PPC.

And congrats on topping the 1 GH/s mark on the multiport. Keep up the good work flound.

I've tried getting a refund from BFL with no luck. I've called PayPal multiple times asking for a refund to no avail. Looks like I'm gunna be stuck with useless hardware. That's if my rigs ever come. Sad

Did you pay with a credit card? PayPal declined due to being past 45 days for me. When I filed a complaint with my CC company, they refunded it no problem.

Order #89 Ready to Ship.  Smiley

Things are moving along quickly now. Nice work Dave, keep it up.
39  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: September 01, 2013, 02:20:41 AM
Order 89 here, nothing yet. Assuming us 50+ order people will be a day later.

Still, happy to see shipping has started. Great work Dave and team!

Don't forget, he is left coast so it is still early there.

Oh, really? Do you know if he's in Northern California. I might as well stop by and help him with packaging or other office jobs etc....

Megabigpower is located in WA, according to the "Contact Us" page.
