22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: December 16, 2017, 10:30:05 AM
Its a no brainier. Xrp was 1000 sats before its only half that right now.

Once the original volume comes back and it's at 1000 sats x $20000 BTC it will be close to $2.00.

That's without even being listed on coinbase it's a buy and hold.

you had me at hold.. im still not convinced by the ideology behind this coin but im convinced its going to play a part in the crypto world in ten years..
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think BCH will replace BTC in the future? on: December 16, 2017, 10:02:41 AM
when you can actually buy things every day with crypto then low fees will become important and BHC will rise against BTC

26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: December 01, 2017, 03:47:10 AM
Wasn't it the porn industry that in some part ensured the victory of VHS CD DVD Blueray over their competitors. Widespread adoption in that industry would lock BTC as the predominant crypto for some time to come and boost its legitimatcy in the mainstream, no?
27  Economy / Speculation / Re: I BUY GOLD OR BITCOIN? on: December 01, 2017, 02:46:25 AM
Hi guys, I've been in the world of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies for some time, some relatives and friends ask me to buy gold or bitcoin to save, and I answer:

1. If you want to be safe without worrying about buying gold, because its price is very stable, at 1200 dollars an ounce.

2. If you want to invest in bitcoin I invite you to investigate what technology is about, I tell you that it is a new technology that will revolutionize the world, it is decentralized, distributed, without control of any kind of government, its quantity is limited. that allows it to be deflamatory, with the passage of time it takes more value, but it is your RESPONSIBILITY if you make the investment in bitcoin, I only tell you the advantages but it is up to you to investigate the subject.

WHAT WOULD YOU RESPOND?

Do both.. as you get older and the crypto world matures move more into PM's and less risky cryptos as a hedge.. you should have a plan, I don't want to wake up at 60 with no gold and a bunch of shitcoin
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Physical Gold/Silver price Speculation? on: November 30, 2017, 01:15:46 AM
IMO during the next gfc precious metals and crypto will fall, especially crypto as people liquidate assets to pay down debt.. I hold PM crypto and fiat. The fiat is dry powder to buy crypto in the next big crash, the crypto is to speculate with and 10% of crypto profits goes back on to gold, and stacking PM's is a life long goal to hedge against other stuff..
29  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: November 29, 2017, 11:22:42 PM
Coinomi is the best for my needs.. ownership of private keys. Exchange function in the wallet with lots of currencys...  has anyone had any dramas with coinomi?

Just downloaded a mobile wallet for the kids and put in $50 each. I hope this introduction to crypto will help them to understand money, value and wealth and the difference between them.
