21  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Huobi Pro - SCAM - BEWARE !! on: February 16, 2018, 04:52:43 PM
Ok so now I sent eth from a smart contract address for over 2weeks. Apparently their eth address on exchange don't support such transactions. Someone with a similar issue had this problem solved on Binance within 2days. Huobi staff told me to wait patiently but never gave me a timeframe. I wonder if I will see the money back one day and this will prove if Huobi.pro is a scam or not

Did anyone had this sort of issues in the past and can advise?

The goal is for the phone to be able to seamlessly switch you between tokens so you can make purchases with whatever token you require, so long as you have some currency in your wallet.

I' m not sure if you even understand yourself what you are saying

can you tell me what you get from this coin? A crypto bank when the purpose of crypto is to bypass the bank

Why did anyone buy this? I mean what's the value to it!? I really don't get it. Can someone please enlighten me!?

Not sure, but if the short @ LTC that was placed just before the dip was truly theirs and not a lucky shot, this might be a keeper.

edit: link here https://medium.com/swissborg/actions-speak-louder-than-words-521cf17cc16f

And what does that mean!!? are you or the community earning anything from those trade!? What a rip off, I'd like to make an ICO and put some pictures of the swiss mountains in the background just to make it looks like it's swiss so it's more authentic like swiss knife/chocolate/banks. Then once I get your money I give you a worthless token and then play with your money on the market and keep all the profit and make a fool out of you. Is that what Swissborg is all about? Please tell me what I get from holding one of their chsb token!?? btw this is getting more ridiculous: Using Switzerland to promote quality and calling a token CHSB like HSBC. This looks all fake and scammy

So what's the deal with titanium switching to PoS? There was an article where he wrote against it and now he's aiming to create a masternode

So what's the deal switching from PoW to PoS? What will titanium do until raiden network gets implemented on Ethereum blockchain. What will be the advantage of Titanium over ethereum beside just being a clone like BCH. I know they want to implement a masternode but how will they do that!? I see there's a lot of talks but nothing technical just yet
29  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitstamp, Ethereum withdraw smart contract deposits in other exchanges on: February 01, 2018, 06:59:51 PM
Hi guys,

time ago I had a problem withdrawing Ether from Bitstamp sending them directly to my ETH Binance address, they didn't show up for days and they had to manually "unlock" them because they don't support the way Bitstamp sends Ether. Now I was going to withdraw some other Ether from Bitstamp and this advise popped up:
WARNING: Do not send funds directly to exchanges which do not support smart contract deposits. Either check with the destination exchange first or send your funds to your private wallet.

Which is exactly what happened to me weeks ago, but at that time there was no warning.

So now I was wondering if there is a list or if anybody knows which exchanges support the smart contract deposits, in order to avoid this problem again.

Thanks!

I just did exactly the same mistake today sending eth from bitstamp to huobi.pro. How long did it take for binance to recover your funds?

Thanks.

Could you get any btw? I connected to a host in tokyo >ping 1ms and super fast speed but the captcha/slider that you need to use before login in didnt work. I tried the normal way then but as soon as I could click the package was sold out... Hope it willstill tradefor a decent price once it hit the excahnge 1st feb
I don't invest in ICOs or anything related to such. I despise the investment in such. I only trade in exchanges, though it has reduced quite a lot recently. So sorry, can't help you out here.

Thanks!

Today - "someone" just went into my account in Huobi - I was so lucky I transfered all from there yesterday.

I have top security there - passport number, photo, Email, phone, G2 security - STILL "someone" just disabled my phone !! WOW !! - it wasnt working whole day. Now I got sms that someone logged in to my account.

Beware - all password/emails/phones are compromised - get out as fast as you can. Only Huobi had that information - I have no viruses, never given anyone my password, it isn't written anywhere.

Exchange did it or someone hacked them - both = get out !! or you can lose all.
One ,they moved to South Korea after the Chinese bloodshed. South Korea is known for regulation. So your details are not only with Huobi, but with the regulatory authority of South Korea most probably. The security flaw can be from your side too, before you blame anything, provide proof that make sound.
I tried to participate in their ICOs but it instantly gets sold out each time as if there are bots buying. This is not legit and not fair for the community. I'm cashing out of that exchange. On top of that their reward and vip fees don't make sense, fees are still 4x higher than binance... What's the incentive in using that excahnge?
Its not a Bot,its how freaking quick markets function,Huobi is one of the biggest exchanges of crypto, people are going crazy for its tokens. And those Vip fees are especially for Korean whales who like things to function quick, and Huobi makes a hell lot of profit from it. The reward system ,its technically not exactly a reward ,we all know who benefits from such rewards.

I have to say I really like their website tho and security looks on point. I got my docs verified and to take money out of the exchange they use yr phone nummber, 2FA and email verification, which I find overwhelming. On top of that they ask your passport number

I don'tunderstand how this coin is moreanonymous than any other. On top of that 18'000'000 have been premined. I'm a newbie as you can see so pls tell me if I'm wrong. But isn't the fact that this is pre mined make it less decentralised and easier to trace as holders (beside devs themselves) will be a large minority? Huh
