so it's a continuation of the NXT price.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IGNIs and Bittrex on: January 31, 2018, 04:59:23 PM
why do we see a massive red candle in the IGNIS graph on bittrex? did it really start that high and went that low?
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Antminer A3 earning $500 a day mining SIAcoin . .WHAT?! Results & Stats on: January 30, 2018, 04:39:23 PM
Thanks man, I am shocked it dropped from 500 to 40 so fast. damn.

We are pretty much screwed.  It will be hard to hit ROI before the next batch is out unless the price of SC goes up.

How long has the first batch out for? Also do you guys think people will get the next batch miners? It seems it will be worse in profit and the miner price is the same, even though I think the price should be adjusted.

hi, is it possible for the bot to buy and sell the coins you have without disrupting the existing coins you already bought manually?

because I have like 50 different coins I want to keep but I don't want to exclude all those pairs.

thanks

Trading Crypto Coach is the biggest crook. He pretends to be a mover and shaker guy in finance, but just some kid scamming people out of money.

Spread the words about these people and report their channels.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hourly data on alt coins historically? on: January 14, 2018, 08:50:44 AM
No I just need past data for simulations, not real time.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hourly data on alt coins historically? on: January 14, 2018, 07:42:54 AM
Yes coinmarketcap has a lot of data but I need to be able to query this in my program. Only one I can parse from their site is daily prices.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Hourly data on alt coins historically? on: January 14, 2018, 07:06:14 AM
Hi all,

I am writing a program where I simulate some investment ideas but I need a database with at least top 100 altcoins for a couple months to a year with hourly prices.

Anyone knows where I can find this info?

Thanks in advance.

35  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a portfolio management app? on: December 29, 2017, 07:33:43 AM
Thanks guys but it doesn't need AI at all. The app won't do anything just that it will do things if you want it to do. So if I wanna buy at price X and sell at price Y, or if I say sell all coins to BTC etc. So these are not hard to code at all.

If btc is mooning all alts will be red, and it would be nice to be able to instantly sell all of them and then buy them back when btc stops moving, using the same ratio you had originally and by specifying how many btc to use to buy all of them back. I wanna make it very easy to ride these storms and increase coins.

But I didn't wanna make something that already exist.

I might write one and if it's really good maybe there is a market for this kind of app so people would be willing to buy it. When/If I am done with it, it should really help to manage a massive portfolio.

Blockfolio is nice but if I am not wrong, it's just visual.

Ok guys I had some time to do a bit of research. So far I made a rough list of 3 classes of coins I want to invest. What do you guys think? Please give critique about them whether any coin in the list is shitcoin or if I am missing a promising coin:

CLASS 1:
BTC
ETH
RIPPLE
LITECOIN
CARDANO-ADA
IOTA
DASH
NEM
MONERO
EOS
STELLAR
NEO

CLASS 2:
QTUM
LISK
TRON
VERGE
ARDOR
OMG
ZCASH
STRATIS
BITSHARES
WAVES
DOGECOIN
KOMODO
SALT
SIACOIN
VERITASEUM
GOLEM
STEEM
ARK

CLASS 3:
DECRED
PIVX
DIGIBYTE
TENX
CIVIC
0X
VERTCOIN
REDDCOIN
WALTON
GAMECREDITS
SUBSTRATUM
GAS
FUNFAIR
UBIQ
VOXELS
METAL
SHIFT
BURST
POT
HEMPCOIN
CANNABISCOIN
HUMANIQ
MUSICOIN (maybe?)
TIX (maybe?)

I thought of some basic allocation as 1 btc per coin in Class 1, 0.5 btc per coin in Class 2, 0.15 btc per coin in Class 3, which would require 25 btc. I don't have this amount but but diving it by 4 for example and allocate proportionally.

Is this a bad proportion?

Also when would be the best time to buy? All of them are green now, so doesn't seem smart to just buy them. I was thinking of waiting for BTC to set a new ATH so that all alts are severely red and good to buy, and when I get more btc, repeat the buys in time, and just hold.

What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance.

So none I guess? it's close to impossible to manage more than a few coins for trading for myself.

Any ideas?

Haha ten million dollars from a $100k investment, came on mate, just keep dreaming, of course that you are going to reach that amount of money in less than a month, or just two months!

Just be realistic.

When did I say in a month? I am talking about long term, several years.
39  Economy / Trading Discussion / Best way to create a diverse portfolio that will reach $10M from 100K investment on: December 28, 2017, 04:18:34 AM
Hi,

I want to invest in a lot of coins that will hopefully generate a massive return but also minimize losses.

I did some research by looking at the past 5 years of coin data, and to me it seems like investing in many coins over a long term gives much better returns. But not just 3-5, unless you are very lucky to pick 1000x return coin. But more like 50+ coins.

I saw one guy put $10 on top 100 coins:
https://www.cryptocompare.com/portfolio-public/?id=43976

50x return (1K to 50K).

I found another guy who put $100 on top 40 coins but couldn't find his portfolio there. Also 50x return (4K to 200K).

So logically the more coins you pick with less market cap the higher chances it might moon.

The problem is how would you allocate the fund among the coins. Based on market cap, equal, or based on how much you believe in the coin?

Also my idea which might be not very good is to invest say 50-70 coins out of top 200 coins so I will skip some not just put money into top 0-200 or top 50, etc.

Maybe more money for the big coins but less amount for the less known small ones (0.05-0.1 btc each)

What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance.
40  Economy / Trading Discussion / Is there a portfolio management app? on: December 28, 2017, 04:02:54 AM
Hi,

Ideally for bittrex but I don't mean just show me my coins, especially it should automatically read when I bought the coins, for how much, how much profit/loss since I bought, total value, etc.

Now the most important features I am looking which I couldn't find yet are:

1. Ability to instantly buy/sell a selection of or all of my coins at the market value or with some small variation for fast processing.

2. Ability to detect big movement of BTC so I can move all my alts into btc manually using the above feature, and back to alts after BTC stopped moving.

3. Ability to create auto buy/sell orders without locking funds, i.e. based on set buy and sell price.

4. Ability to detect coins that are rapidly gaining buy volume or sell volume, etc.

So not really an automated bot but a management tool that can help me manage my portfolio better.

Does this exist? If not I will have to create one, but I would rather not reinvent the wheel if it's already done.

Thanks in advance guys.
