We invest $100 in the crypto portfolio of your choice every week! You take the whole investment home if your prediction of the portfolio price is the most accurate! As simple as that!
The prize is the total value of the portfolio by the end of the 1-week period converted into XRP. We all hope it will go to the Moon!
The Winner is the one whose forecast will be the closest to the total value of our crypto portfolio after the 1-week period. For greater accuracy, it is worth using two decimals (i.e. “$1014,08”).
How it works:
1) We will pre-select 15-20 cryptocurrencies and will ask the community to vote for the TOP 5 from that list. After that we will invest $100 in those currencies. The portion invested in a currency will depend on the percentage of those who voted for that particular digital currency. To make it even more interesting we’ve decided to exclude TOP coins like BTC, ETH, etc. Feel free to comment and explain to other community members why they should vote for a particular coin if you feel it has the highest potential and should be definitely included in the portfolio.
2) We will buy the selected coins on Poloniex.com. Once we buy the coins we will not conduct any operations on the stock exchange (i.e. no trade, stop-loss orders and profit taking). Our crypto portfolio will be in open access on
https://www.cryptocompare.com/ where everyone can see the changes. Please note that there might be some differences compared to Poloniex.com (Cryptocompare figure will prevail when selecting the winner but the actual payment will be sent from Poloniex using their rates).
3) On Thursday, 28 Dec, at 15:00 (GMT) we will start the poll for participant coins.
4) At 15:00 (GMT) on Friday, 29th we will create the portfolio and start accepting your forecasts. We will stop to accept forecasts at 23-59 (GMT) on Wednesday, 3 Jan.
5) On Friday, 5 Jan, at 15:00 (GMT), we will record the total value of our portfolio. The amount will be compared with your forecasts.
