Hi, after about 12 hours of using version 1.12 I have 0 hw errors, so I can confirm that in my case this issue is solved. Thank you very much.
Today after a while that the epoch has changed, hashrate has dropped to 1.2Mh. Manually restarting the miner without 4GB related parameters, the hashrate returned to normal, but after a while it dropped again. I will try to play with 4GB params hoping to solve.

I meant that when the epoch changed to #372 I was already using version 1.12 for a few hours. Yes, I'm trying these settings too: --keepfree 16 --4g-alloc-size 3992 Currently it seems stable even if the hashrate has dropped by about 2MH  Same here 2mh/S exactly less With this settings until epoch we can mine? Any form to predict that? With luck we can mine untill ETH classic fork |

 I switched this card (580 4GB) from PM to LolM, hashrate is fine but I have a lot of hw errors. It didn't happen before. I'm trying to lower the clocks but it looks the same. Win 10 - driver 18.3.4 This should be fixed with newest release See lolMiner 1.12 that saw light of day today Thanks for the new version, I got some doubts 1 - have the watchdog enable by default to watch if some gpu is dead and restart himself? or we only have the emergency .bat ? 2- can you insert some json config file example?  3- Have lolminer some discord or telegram? 4 - where can we see eth dag countdown time? |

Should the -gt value from an card from an algo be used to mine another algo, or we should should use auto-tune when switch to other algo and after the best value achieved we should fix it in .config file? For example my -gt values from ETH can be used to mine UBIQ? Thanks |

my rx580 8gb stop mining ETC at #379 epoch (4GB DAG size) in win10 & PhoenixMiner 5.1c
but still work ETH at #368 epoch.
my driver is Crimson Beta for Blockchain.
i dont have any problem in linux but some rigs work in win10.
any suggestion?
Good drivers. These are versions from 18.12.1.1 to 19.7.5 (inclusive), and from 19.12.2 to 20.8.1 (inclusive). These will allow you to mine until DAG epoch 372-373 and won't need restart of PhoenixMiner on each DAG epoch change.
Not so good drivers. These are versions 18.1.1 to 18.10.1 (inclusive), and from 19.8.1 to 19.12.1 (inclusive). This will allow you to mine until DAG epoch 365-366 and will require restart of PhoenixMiner on each DAG epoch change (for these drivers this will be preformed automatically unless you have added -dagrestart 0 command-line option to explicitly disable the auto-restart).
Your 8GB RX580 should be able to mine ETC without issues though, even with Blockchain drivers. but my 8gb rx580 stop mining ETC... the problem is PhoenixMiner 5.1c!!! this miner dosen't support after #379 epoch (4GB DAG size) in win10. any one can mine ETC in win10 with 8gb gpus on PhoenixMiner or claymore now??? I had the same problem bro on blockchain drivers. Try last Adrenaline drivers version 20.10.1 Blockchain drivers are deprecated I use 19.5.2 that should work. First post says: " Do not upgrade to a new AMD driver unless it is explicitly supported by PhoenixMiner. With 4 GB AMD cards, this will not only lower your hashrate but it will make impossible to mine when the DAG epoch is above 350. After the DAG epoch becomes more than 350, the optimal -gt value for the 4 GB AMD cards may change. So, we recommend to run auto-tune again after DAG epoch 350 to find the best GT values for the cards. After extensive testing of AMD Windows drivers for the last two years or so, we identified two broad groups of drivers: Good drivers. These are versions from 18.12.1.1 to 19.7.5 (inclusive), and from 19.12.2 to 20.8.1 (inclusive). These will allow you to mine until DAG epoch 372-373 and won't need restart of PhoenixMiner on each DAG epoch change. "  |

IMPORTANT! All owners of AMD cards with 4 GB RAM must upgrade to PhoenixMiner 5.0e or later version to continue mining after DAG epoch 350 (both ETH and ETC has already passed DAG epoch 350). Just moved to lolminer because today on this epoch (371) my 4gb cards stops hashing, cant realoce VRAM Any future release to solve this problem? I got all good configurated and switch from claysmore 2 months ago to PM and worked flawless until today. I got too one 8gb card on the system and one vega. (This two i use PM) Thanks |

Hi, today I started mining with 4GB cards. Works great but you have to set all parameters in bios directly. And there is a 5% of rejected shares, is this normal?
Hmm depends - on Windows that can happen, on Linux I would say no! Working heavily on lolMiner 1.12 to correct what happened in Windows ... my strategy to allocate memory was a bit too aggressive there and I seem to read / write locations I should not touch. Will be fixed soon Hello there!

What should I do or what am I doing wrong?

Hey there. I have to admit I was not able to do much work for the Hawaii cards yet. They work somehow, but seem slower then other miners. This has architecture reasons - every architecture reacts a bit different to the code and optimizations and R9 390 have GCN2, while e.g. R9 380 / R9 Fury and RX 470 - 590 are GCN 3. Thus it might happen that my codes for 380 are quicker then for 390. Once I sorted out other problems of the miner I will go back to scratchboard and see what I can do for the older architectures. By the way if you wonder what I currently do: lolMiner 1.12 will get ethash support for NV cards - not tuned to the max, but may be an option for mixed rigs. Also slightly improved the Fiji (Fury) & 470-590 kernels, addend support for the ETC dag size reduction that will happen from epoch 390 and working on fixing defect shares in Windows. Hi Guys, Today my claymore´s eth miner stop hashing for my 4gb cards. My vega and samsung 8gb worked good. So i switched to PhoenixMiner to put all 4gb and 8gb cards working. All is hashing now. I copyed the straps on the fly that claymore´s put on my vega using AMD memory tweak and the hashing is even better in PM. Now i have some doubts: xD 1 - how i can switch pool to test it? i press "r" and the prompt say pool list have 3 pools. But can´t i switch manually, selecting what i want? 2 - On claymore i have the parameter -rxboost and for my rxs 580 i got 1mh/s more on claymore. Thanks 1 - try to press "h" during mining - it's list of available commands. Maybe "e" change pool. yes "e" worked 2 - PM didn't have -rxboost or it's analog. But -rxboost just sets the REF parameter. You can set it via AMD tweak tool with PM. ah ok. Im seing too that my straps seems locked for rx580 in amdmemtweak, if i change it they reverse to original. On vega works 3 - "good for epoch up to..." is just showing up to what epoch miner taked videomemory in this session. It can be changed by option -eres. By default miner takes videomemory for current epoch + 2 epoch up. Maximum epoch for 4Gb cards is up to 373 or above. But for this it's needed Windows 10 and good drivers like 20.4.2. Hi guys, Im using win 10 1909 version, Using GUI amd tweak version works good. But when im using the cli version (Latest CLI Versions 0.1.9.1 release) to do some work with an .bat file the program doesn´t have any output. (seems that open and close very fast) On gui version we can use startup commands or only in CLI? In CM i got 52 MH/s for an vega 64. (155 W on SW miner) and probably 200 from wall.
Here in my tests , using auto-tune or manual or intensity 15 i only got 44 mh/S , if increase intensity to 400 i got 32mh/S
I tested several kernels too, could be my amd drivers : Radeon-Software-Adrenalin-2019-19.5.2 ?
Its a Strange behavior.
Any ideia where should i look?

Most probably you are using some options to change the timings and refresh rates of the VRAM, which aren't supported on PhoenixMiner. Thanks Yes, you should use AMD Memory Tweak and you will 100% sure get 1.0%-1.5% more hashrate than Claymore. I don't know what are the specific settings of AMD Memory Tweak for Vega 64, just play a little with it. Every man with more than one brain cell will find them within one day of trying. Maybe 1.5% higher deserves one day effort? Start from this scratch: Run Claymore with your best settings. After that run in command prompt window (with Administrative privileges if it is required for WinAMDTweak): WinAMDTweak.exe —current You will see the current setting of Claymore. Something like this: https://www.cryptoprofi.info/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/word-image-49.pngCopy/Paste them down in text file. After that stop Claymore. Run WinAMDTweak.exe --... with these settings and run Phoenixminer.exe after that with the same -cclock -mclock -cvddc -mvddc parameters like Claymore. Hello again, everybody! We hope you are doing well (as well as possible in these circumstances anyway).
Here are some important updates about PhoenixMiner and the upcoming events:
* All users of 4 GB cards should add the following command line options: -rvram -1 -eres 0 This will allow uninterrupted operation until the next VRAM limit hits, which will be around epoch 350-352 for AMD cards and a bit later for Nvidia cards.
* We are working on a fix for the AMD cards with 4 GB VRAM, which will allow them to work a bit longer after epoch 350, and it will be ready in the next few weeks (certainly before epoch 350 hits), so don't lose hope if you have 4 GB AMD cards yet.
* Do not upgrade to the latest AMD drivers (20.4.x on Windows, or 20.10-1048554 on Linux) as they are not supported by the current PhoenixMiner 4.9c and you will get lower hashrate and higher stale shares as a result.
