Does uno have the same blocksize as bitcoin?

Bitcoin Core: a project run by two men who have shown clear opposition to the block chain having a future. One of them works for a company that makes more money the worse the block chain gets: conflicts of interest don’t get more extreme than that.
Bitcoin XT: a project run by two men who already shipped a compromise solution that reflects the demands of miners, users and companies.

Debit cards are kind of a gimmick really .... why go through the trouble of buying Bitcoin, putting it on an exchange, purchasing UNO (or some other crypto), hodling it a while, then converting it back to fiat using a debit card? I can see some use cases for this but myself personally I got into crypto so I could break away from fiat-based systems.

While merchant adoption is slow, this is simply due to cryptocurrency being in it's infancy - although in the past few years I have made a few major purchases using only Bitcoin. Just bought a new laptop on local swaplist for a few BTC.
i use xapo card and i store barely all my funds in crypto so i dont even need to keep fiat money
this allows me to be "all in" in bitcoin

Does anyone know anything about paid advertising online? What would be some good sites to target? I'm thinking...Libertarians, collectors, economic collapse types. Get our feet wet with some small purchases and see if it generates any traffic. We could ask one of the artistic folks here to create an ad.

I'm sure that we could get together on the Cat at some point and throw out some ideas on this matter.

Several tin-foil-hat-type sites come to mind, but we would likely be best served expanding beyond that market.

Also, does anyone have any idea what kind of budget would be required? I'm on board to contribute.

may be its good just to use google adwords with keywords "bitcoin fork", "altceoins" or something

It's happening..

Now you are only allowed to withdraw up to $100 worth of crypto a MONTH from Cryptsy without being verified to at least a "Tier 1" in their new system. I'm glad I moved my UNO out of there early on with TWO "free" withdrawal vouchers. I will never use Cryptsy again. I could see a very rare occasion if there were 20 UNO or less sitting there for a snipe buy, but I'm not supporting this type of behavior. I do not care if the government cracks down on exchanges. That means it's time to bring on the real decentralized exchanges then. Regulation is about to overtake cryptocurrencies.

Sad times. Just over 3 years, I guess we had a good run.  Cry
Why it is a problem to be verified? I feel comfortable to be verified anywhere.

re: more exchanges

re: invading China

1.  I recommend working with DMD or others.  Because if we pay a guy $500 and they pay him/her $500 then we have a better chance of getting an 'employee' like rep, willing to dedicate themselves more towards the project.  We will need someone to constantly work the forums, and make media contacts, and the biggie they need to be native chinese + love crypto (rare coins).

2.  SirSmokes said something a couple pages back.  And I think he is right.  For more immediate gains better to focus on the end-of-the-world crowd.  That be folks who are active online, and betting on a fiat doomsday happening so are 'preppin' for the event.  I agree, this is the audience if/when we pay for ads.

3. Do both.  Let's find a Chinese speaking UNO enthusiast.  Let's start to explore how to promote UNO in 'English' outside of the crypto-verse.

someone just quoted me 0.3btc to translate the OP

May be we can promote uno with google adwords? using words "bitcoin fork" or something

What is the reason we still cannot bring uno on other exchanges? for example poloniex

So, while we get our heads together – say, a century – the idea of nil-flationary currencies, the idea that one unit of money bought one loaf of bread yesterday, buys one loaf of bread today, and will buy one loaf of bread at any time for the rest of that century, is a really really really good idea (and so is buses pulled through the streets by the long-lunch-ocrats who got us into this mess.

(Except we did nothing, which makes us equally culpable . . . )

Does nil-flationary means no inflation? But the limited supply will rise the value of currency constantly in case of mass adoption so one unit of money bought one loaf of bread yesterday, buys two loafs of bread today.

I have a question. As it is said in wiki economists generally believe that deflation is a problem in a modern economy because it increases the real value of debt, and may aggravate recessions and they favor a low and steady rate of inflation. So is it possible for any cryptocurrency with deflationary properties to replace fiat money in the future and how it will affect world economy?

Message From Bryce:

"Just thinking out loud... If you want to have the community work on branding that would be great.

There are two or three logo variations in circulation.

We should pick one and make that our brand. We can use this wallet launch to drive it home. "

-----
We have the legacy Black and Blue Uno logos from 2013, and we have Learminer's 2014 yellow logo that is on the unobtanium.uno website.  We have a wide assortment of swirly cool logos from Prominer.  Only one can make it into the wallet.

Which logo should appear on the 2015 Uno wallet?

I like the blue one.
Also there is original blue logo from blazr.

Why the biggest uno wallet considered as cryptsy wallet? How can it remain untouched for so many days and have only one adress?

Очень стабильный форк. Купленные год назад монеты сохранили свою цену на фоне обвалившегося битка.

Just noticed new exchange with good volume. There is a way to add newcoins there. If i understood it right it needs two people to support new coin. You need to put sell and buy orders worth 2btc. Here is the link https://hitbtc.com/mm

May be it is a good idea to promote Uno with some internet ads on the bitcoin related sites. We could support it  by our donations.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: February 09, 2015, 11:36:41 AM
Yes, I agree. i made a post earlier asking prominerone to reach out to BTC-e about UNO listing again.  Kraken would be good too.

Although there is excitement in this "run-up" I have a feeling of total calm and no apprehension as it finally seems that crypto world is having the realisation of the true value of $UNO. This is no "pump."

The next step is more options for fiat as Benefactor said.
I asked btc-e about Unobtanium a month ago and they laughed at it as the volume was about 400$ a day.

bter.com gives me 9 votes per hour, but you need to use them before next 9 votes given, as they are not accumulated. May be i can give to some of you my pass, so anybody who has a free time could login and spend the votes for uno?

Baars - Did you see the reply to your last post on here from IMZ, when it was up a couple of days ago?
