But this was at 103 before... so we don't have "more" bids... it just moved.

go ahead, trade on this "if it happened b4 it will happen again" nonsense
You mean the part where everyone knows Bitcoin will recover and rise to new incredible highs? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) it has been up since 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and prices in 2009<2010<2011<2012<2013 Yup, but "someone" here thinks we can't base our expectation on the past. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) you can't, if so we could expect to go up 20,000% in 4 years nonsense, nonsense, nonsense just look at the last 6 months of trading, understand why price moved the way it did, look around at what is happening now on the dev side of things, and then speculate. I didn't say X%, I said Bitcoin will recover and rise to new incredible highs.

He's right. It's only perception of news that counts, not the news itself, and that can vary depending on what kind of price environment we are in.
He's got an opinion, that doesn't make it right, or even close. Seriously, who cares about Thailand making something illegal? They are a speck in the Bitcoin world. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fdanienglish.com.br%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2012%2F04%2F031011-grasping-at-straws.jpg&t=663&c=TtkfH_FAc5IyFw) News are always interpreted (or discarded) in function of the current market mood. Like Blitz said, who cared about Cyprus? They are even less then a peck in the Bitcoin world. And yet everyone was talking about it when the market was bullish. I viewed the FINCEN event as a bad news... but in a bullish market, that's good news. Edit: By the way, that's a good insight into the current market sentiment...
