A lot of alts go/went through this, but PMC is going to be different.  We have a new path and solid support.  Cheap, for now; dormant but certainly not dead, simply changing.

Just donated the remainder to get to .5BTC, I'm too impatient.   Grin

(god I hope I did math right!)

Could everyone stop with all the "we need to ... " and instead start doing that?

We already are...
If you really want to get the ball moving then maybe you could pitch in to the developer bounty.
We have two donators so far. Myself and Bungholio.

Which reminds me...

Is that where that 250 came from?  ;-)

Thoughts on how PMC-Holders can transfer their PMC to PMC+. Did anyone make a decision about that?

besides the 1:1 exchange I think of a kind of "step-model" for current PMC holders:

exchange 1:1 for PMC amount up to 1000 PMC
exchange 2:1 for PMC amount from 1001 - 5000 PMC
exchange 3:1 for PMC amount from 5001 - xxxx PMC

This way holders of small amounts have 100% coins exchanged to PMC+ while big holders get a little less PMC+. And we have more left to be distributed or for POS rewards.

any ideas/suggestions for this?

The only thing I'd say about this is if I was sitting on 10K PMC I'd have 10 wallets with 1000 in each to get around the exchange rates.  ;-)

My Wallet stopp synchronizing at block 170886. Wallet is back since 27h ....
looks like there are no block generated at all any more?

I had a power outage at my home, and somehow had some trouble getting my miners up and running again after that.

Seems like I am the only one still mining PMC?

Yeah looks like that you are the only one mining PMC. My wallets are synced now.

I don't have any asic miner to join mining Sad

Yeah, bit disappointing. Let's hope my miners do not break down then...

Also, it's still not paying anything. I just check, and I mined 42318 blocks last month (yes, over 42 thousand blocks). It paid 1.4PMC in transaction fees, of which 1PMC is from a single transaction. So 0.4PMC in 42317 blocks. So, currently, I am spending around $20 montly to keep the network up, with no return whatsoever...

[edit]
I just started the PMC wallet on the server I have running for thenodeslist.com (yes, that website needs an overhaul/update). You can use it as a node: addnode=thenodeslist.com:9335

If anyone feels like mining, I can give the details to connect to that server so you can mine without having to keep a pc running. There is no pool or anything, it is just like solomining, but to a remote location. As stated before, there is practically no payout, so I am not going to set up a pool. It would be just to make sure the network keeps running.
[/edit]

Post or PM the details on this...I can throw some hashes to it.

Wow, gone for a while and things go crazy again.  I like it!!  I chucked in 0.05BTC to the donation.  Any action is good IMO so I'll keep an eye on this thread and help where I can.  Thanks everyone for the revival!!

I am PMC broke sadly, however there are many whom are pretty philanthropic. So you may very well get a donation. The price of PMC is on the way up so I hope your 150 do you well..

Fixed your brokedness...  ;-)

Okay guys and gals of PMC...

I have written to the owner of Hashcows and he IS interested in my idea of a PMC multipool... he has the the existing multipool, he can give us ur own port to mine too, and he can back end the purchase and distribution of PMC to those of us who participate....

However, at first he would have to do it manually... until he can come up with a system to deal with Poloniex API's and he wanted to know how many of us would participate ( to see if this effort would be worth is time/effort )

So all I ask is this:

How many of you would PMC-Multipool in thai manner AND give me a rough estimate of hashrate you might be able to bring to bear.

I will let him know the estimates....

For those of you who don't understand what I am trying to do:

1) We mine at Hashcows multipool. Hashcows will convert our efforts to BTC and then use that BTC to buy PMC on Poloniex then he will re-distribute the PMC back to those who have participated....

2) This adds contininous buying pressure to PMC, raising it's value...

Optional: We could also ask for a mandatory transaction fee on distribution for the PMC miners....

His fee is usually 2 percent to mine the multipool, I have offered him a higher percentage just to get it implemented...

Lets hear some feedback...

I can throw 30Gh/s at it...

Holy Crap!  Yay!...  That might get Hashcow's owner's attention,,,

Uh, wait. Hashcow is a scrypt pool right? I think that's creating some confusion.

I scrypt indeed, I can put 1mh/s to it. Don't have much more until my alpha asic arrives... (or maybe I pick up a 5mh/s blade in the meantime if they become really cheap).

Uhhh...ok...no not scrypt...sorry.

Hey friends of PMC.

I need a few PMC to send to a lady who is trying to learn about crypto currency WITH PMC before she jumps into buying some BTC as an investment...

I don't need a bunch.

I spent all of mine ( all of them ) promoting on cryptofury.com with the intention of doing a major buyback on poloniex soon. ( But I don't have the cash at the moment )

So could someone gift me a few ( 10 or something ) @  1McszUU4BpZnZxaodpJHSWokost5Tps8wM

I will then get the woman going... I am sure she will hold her PMC in addition to her future BTC
But I had suggested she get familiar with crypto before buying a bunch of BTC on facebook and she agreed with me...
And now I don't have the crypto to help her Tongue

Thanks in advance...

PMC on it's way from my Android Wallet...woot!

we are new but the system was stress tested and we are sure nothing bad will happen to our users. just try us with some initial trades.

I'll put some funds and orders in.  I'm hesitant though, with all the exchanges dropping like flies from hacks and attacks.  Regardless I'm confident in PMC.

Edit: PG 361 !!
ive also send PMC there, we hae to give some trust to exchanges.. and if they disappear.. well thats life Wink surely this one is too new to disappear!

Agreed, if my deposits waft off like farts in church, well then we know the exchange is shite.  Timid kids jerk off after prom, confident kids get blowjobs at sunrise...

Before any changes... lets offer a bounty to 51% attack PMC. I offer 500 PMC bounty. I am curious what will happen after the attack. Is there anything to gain or just the tx?

Are you guys serious about experimenting with 51% attack?
I would love to get involved.
Please let me know how I can get involved.

Thanks.

I would also like to participate in
If you are involved in please tell me
Thank you, I wish you good luck

Yeah i am serious about it... Nobody has been attacked that I know of. They are all scared about the attack but nobody really knows the consequence of it.

Since there is a lot of interest, maybe the dev can initiate or look for someone to do the attack?

What kind of hashrate would it take to pull off 51%?

Here we go maybe, we always talk about PMC being the "bank" for BTC.

Convert your BTC to PMC and avoid taxes.   Shocked

Okay everyone...

Lets do something today....
I have 50 PMC that someone gave me for no reason and now I am going to give it all away on this site:

>Michael Eaton
>Mar 16 (9 days ago)

>to me

>Thanks for the kind words about our twitter and website - its good to hear - I have been putting in 12 hour days lately.

>I absolutely love the idea of PMC - Do you happen to know the DEV?  I have some projects I would like to discuss with someone if his capacity.

>Here is my deposit address: 13KNLPCKVtLgA9z3s7sALWYVBv1Dcbsyxc
>As soon as I receive the coins I will begin tweeting the hashtags and details of the giveaway - and depending on how many coins you send - >schedule tweets for subsequent giveaways up to 3 weeks in the future.

>Thank you so much for being involved in Crypto - I too am a true lover.  Do you have any Mintcoin?  Post your address and I will happily send >you a few - Pure POS coin at this point in time (mined for 5 weeks).  Lost a bit in this dip were having lately but where Mint and PMC will be in >10 years?  lol - trying to guess that is absurd.

>Do you have a twitter handle you would like me to tweet as well?

He is http://cryptofury.com
And https://twitter.com/CryptoMarketing

Here we go....

Hopefully something comes of this, I sent some PMC over to help.  Thanks!!

I just sent 10 PMC to each of the new people here in the last couple of pages that posted PMC addresses, and sent 50 to JDS1000 to sustain the giveaway a bit longer.
