I think the way you market an ICO depends on what features your ICO has and your target audience. This isn't a case where one size fits all ~cheers

If you want to be really rich, then you're going to have to get lucky with a random altcoin and hope it goes from less than a cent to a dollar or more. Otherwise you're not getting rich off of $500. Big risk, big reward.

It would help if you could share your budget. "Spending not that much" means completely different things depending on the size of your project and the amount you want to invest into marketing. Also, you need to figure out who you are targeting... that's the best way to decide where to go.

I think it depends on what the plan for the premine is. So without context I think it's unfair to say that a premine hurts the value of a coin
