This validation went bad for a lot of people. It was definitely on Idenas side and not users. Hopefully there will be official announcement soon.

Is there a mining calculator available for idena . I have hosted a VPS and need to check the total earning i would get if i run 24x7 and the possible earnings in iDNA.
Daily profit is around 8.25 iDNA and the requirement for running a iDNA node is around this:

Processor: 64-bit, 1 core (2 cores recomended)
Memory: 2GB
Hard disk: 100GB
Internet connection: Flat internet tariff, more than 600GB of monthly traffic

A typical $5 VPS would do the job. Having a stable 24/7 remoted node for iDNA is worth the money, I think.

From which supplier do you find such prices of $ 5 for a server with a 100g + hard disk?
Don't go for the international VPS host like Vultr or DigitalOcean since they're very expensive. Try to look at your local VPS in your country since they usually offer a much better deal in terms of pricing. Some may allow you to opt out SSD to the HDD storage to suit your need, in this case, 100GB for iDNA node. See, some in this thread gave you a few suggestions already.

I did not know you needed 100GB storage. I am running it with 25GB and its not half full. Are you sure you need 100gb?

Sadly I was away from my computer during the last validation period because of that I have failed the verification. Can I re-apply to get verified using the same address or I will have to use a different address this time.

Thanks

No matter what happens you keep the same address (public key for transfers/priv key)
If you were candidate or newbie than you need another invitation to be able to take part in validation (to become miner). Always, if you are not sure what you are supposed to do, check your current task.

Thank you very much for the infographics that really helped me. I was trying to do get an invitation from the flip school but, suddenly a random guy asked if I need an invitation code would it be safe to use that invitation code? Or should I get them from flip school?

The problem is the issuer can revoke or cancel your identity/invitation up to a certain point. Someone else on here can probably explain it better, but I think if that happens you would lose the coins that you had locked after validation.

Something weird is going on here. Everyone should use serious precautions with this same group.

You really could have saved a ton of time. Instead of writing all those paragraphs you could have just written that you want to start a ponzi scheme. Absolutely nothing about this brings value to our community.

There is like not enough info about anything here. Is this an exchange? An exchange token? Do not expect us to have to go to your website to get this info.

Hey I was reading about the flips and there is this example illustrated below. Is the story: there is a potted plant, the cat knocks it over, water in floor, sponge to clean up? I just want to make sure I am ready to solve flips before validation time.
Great job but honestly I took me a while to understand the story, on the actual flips it's a lot easier than this but it's better to practice on a hard one isn't? Good luck to the upcoming validation.
Just to make sure that incase if your your node  is not online always then node put on online for  sync at least 5 hours before next validation time and keep it online.  hours before validation I found it was slow in catching up. Good Luck

Ive been thinking about this. What would happen in the case of an attack on the network, or on the specific ips at the exact verification time? could an attacker cause most people not to get verified, causing themselves to be one of the only producers for the next cycle?

You really should have used a spell checker for this, and asked someone to check your use of grammar. Since English is not your first language(I assume), It is really important to only publish when you are free from errors.

I guess I dont understand this coin. What type of hardware do you have as a core of your network? It is also impossible to mine this coin correct? I didnt understand that from the ann, its kind of jumbled.

Betex strives to essentially enhance the way betting was done before and to reduce the risks. To succeed, Betex launched a completely new business model for both brokers and traders to focus users mindset solely on the profit. As a result, the betting process becomes much more efficient, systematic and productive.

At what point will you realize no once cares about these shit posts that are saying same thing with different shitty graphics added each time? When will you change your strategy and start posting something that is worthwhile and will actually bring people to this platform? As it is now, no one cares about this or these posts.

You really raised some money in the ico? If so, spend a little and hire someone to help promote. If no money was raised, i guess just keep posting this same worthless bullshit every few days and hope you might encourage someone to use platform.

Why was it claimed that this would launch in beginning of July in US, but now it is middle of August and still no launch?

I questioned them on telegram in middle of July about this and those fgts banned me instantly from telegram.

Too much FUD, i hope the dev team can handle it professionally. i personally like the concept of the project and its unique on my point of view. so lets all wait for final product release before we fud the team.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

What final product? ICO ended months ago. All they have been doing since then is posting same worthless messages over and over again.  Roll Eyes
