Das ist STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION, also versucht cgminer auf Speicher zuzugreifen, auf den das Programm aber nicht zugreifen darf. Hört sich für mich nach Bug im cgminer an. Hast Du es schon mit einer neueren Version probiert? |

Nutzt Du cgminer >= 3.2 brauchst Du die WinUSB-Treiber mit zadig.
Nutzt Du cgminer < 3.2 brauchst Du nur die CP210x-Treiber.
Vielleicht solltest Du die Treiber und entsprechenden Einträge im Gerätemanager entfernen / deinstallieren und nochmal von vorne anfangen.

Hast Du mal die Sticks einzeln probiert, oder mal immer einen mehr, vielleicht gibt's erst ab einer gewissen Anzahl Probleme? Nichts desto trotz wären Fehlermeldungen o.ä. schon interessant.  |

Ein Stick verbraucht 0,5 A, also kannst du bei einem Netzteil, das 2 A liefert, maximal vier Sticks benutzen. Wohl gemerkt: Und da bist Du schon am Anschlag, hast also keine Reserven z.B. für die interne Elektronik des Hubs. Im Gerätemanager werden aber schon alle Sticks ohne Ausrufezeichen oder Fragezeichen angezeigt, oder? Edit: hatte ich auch und --enable icarus hatte ich auch schon drin ich bin am verzweifeln gleich verbrenne ich die Dinger --enable-icarus ist nur beim Kompilieren notwendig. Ich nehme nicht an, dass Du cgminer selbst kompiliert hast, oder? Und bevor Du die Sticks verbrennst, gib sie mir!  |

Wenn ich jetzt aber CG Miner starte dann fängt er an und gibt eine Fehlermeldung nach der anderen aus und schließt wieder direkt.
Was mach ich falsch ?
Vielleicht schreibst Du mal was für eine Fehlermeldung kommt? |

I'm currently running two blades over slush's mining proxy. What are your cmd lines? Do you use the -rt (real target) and -nm (no midstate) options?

You could try to do a hardware reset and connect then to 192.168.1.254:8000
|

I could get them to work under windows by using "-S COM3 -S COM4". I think windows does not like the \\.\ notation very much.
But this will only work with COM1 to COM9. If you have COM ports greater than 9, you'll have to use the \\.\ notation. the strange thing is that without CGWatcher, CGMiner works perfectly (even with //./)
But I'll try it in a minute...
You could use Microsoft's ProcessExplorer to compare cgminer's command line when invoked manually and per CGWatcher to see if there is a difference... ProcessExplorer will also show which user is the owner of the process. |

I found an option to run always as admin, but it didn't resolved the problem. Well, I think I need to switch to RasPi I guess... (and buy another hub, because my Anker 3.0 will not work on RasPi...) But first I'll try to update cgminer to 3.3.1 (thanks for the usefull tips, ct1aic) The strange thing is, once I have it running (with the routine I described above) it works perfectly, even the restarts when there is a problem (or I force a problem) The problem is it's my fathers server. So he need to do a restart from time to time. And I don't want to give him additional work running my mining farm Try to use \\.\COM3 for the S parameter, because this is the official Microsoft naming notation: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa365247%28VS.85%29.aspx#Win32_Device_NamespacesI also used cgminer 3.3.1, but had problems, even on my Raspberry Pi. I switched to cgminer 3.1.1 and it worked flawlessly. Running since two weeks now without interruption or errors. |

Hallo Leute,
ich habe die Möglichkeit, einen ASICMiner Block Erupter Blade für 2300 € zum Mining anzuschaffen. Was meint ihr, lohnt sich das noch, in Anbetracht der kommenden Hardware (KnC)?

I've got the same problem. I've just logged in for the first time today and wanted to send a PM - 360 waiting time. I'm the only user of the forum on my network. The current IP address is assigned to my router since about 20 hours, so nobody could be using this IP to post in the last six minutes...
