I have never seen so many ragedumps in a coin as byc.
1. Ragedumps? 2. Whales dumping the market to get in low? 3. EDS bringing price down so that there is easier adoption, more liquidity, and cheaper cards during the launch? 4. All of the above? Whatever the reason it is a good time to buy imo.

Next challenge in the Eshriek BCY countdown! Value: 99 BCY Open to: Anyone! Challenge: Find the hidden message ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fjbw863X.jpg&t=663&c=XlOTIk3M-DcBAQ) Win Condition: Post the decrypted message here and PM me your Counterparty address. If there is no correct response within 1 hour hints may start following. The same challenge will be issued with a reduced BCY. *Note - I am not affiliated with SoG other than being an early backer. If there are any requests from anyone I'll move this off to a separate thread. Just wanting to share gratitude that I have from the last ~2 years.

No. I imagine there would be a thread on counterparty forums. Quick glance yielded nothing for me. Happy to donate 100 bcy to the best link that anyone can provide. My assumption: counterparty runs a patched bitcoin core server that is maybe a version behind bitcoin core(?). The "official" counterparty network would follow the bitcoin core network. I'm assuming they would have to ensure that xcp assets would only run on one network (i.e., an update that excludes one of the networks). Someone would have to develop a patched version of Bitcoin Unlimited (or whatever) to run on that network ongoing. 100 bcy to anyone who validates/invalidates with elaboration.
maybe this will happen till the community/ holder will choose which btc fork: What is Bitcoin fails or becomes co-opted? In the event of a catastrophic failure of the Bitcoin network, Counterparty does have the technical capability of “freezing” balances and migrating to another blockchain, like Litecoin for instance, with relative ease. http://counterparty.io/docs/faq/xcp: 1PaPnF38KDis5ZhAm7kkZ2msaQF9Lh3fAb ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Easy money. https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/6b82a93f73b88b7f1cf46e2fcca34116b586ac32a840a7ebcf00ce55aec4cfb6Thanks Even if Counterparty does not freeze and migrate, a person or business using xcp assets could burn tokens at any time and redeem them for tokens on another blockchain.

Oh boy, this is gonna be sick, I'm prepared for the Moon flight ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) )) On the last release for 2 countries price went over 78k satoshies. Since then game evolved a lot and now it's going to be released for all countries + it will get multiplayer option which everyone who love the game if waiting for. BCY devs even merged few other games into BCY ecosystem. And this guys are actually burning the coins all the time. SICK I'm not selling bellow 200k satoshies, period. This will not be Candy Crush or Clash of the Clans, those apps have revenues near a million a day for in app purchases. But I will take a small percentage of that success rate. I still think it would be awesome for EDS to build a separate game-independent wallet that displays your coins as cards along with your card balances, and have it support at least the top 10 currencies as well, each with their own cool EDS designed gaming card. So then people could trade cards not coins and your rarest cards would be there for you to enjoy just like having a real deck. Maybe I will get some devs together to make such a wallet ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Yes. Trading cards for other cards is much needed. It can be done using counterparty wallet and IndieSquare. It's probably on the roadmap for Book of Orbs. But it never hurts to have more, and possibly better, options. While you are at it, why not build a totally new game into the wallet that uses SoG cards? There can be an infinite number of games that use BCY and/or SoG cards. Build enough games and one of them is bound to be a candy crush killer. Cards can have stats that are completely unique from the original. You don't need to be EDS to profit by using their tokens in game play. Also, if you design the wallet to support both BTC and BTU (or whatever they are after the fork) you could capture the market of the chain that is considered alt. I'm looking forward to playing some yet to be developed game with my SatoshiClassic card ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Actually, do you have a link for how the fork impacts counterparty assets? No. I imagine there would be a thread on counterparty forums. Quick glance yielded nothing for me. Happy to donate 100 bcy to the best link that anyone can provide. Few more days for Version 1.0.6. Killer Princess will be available to play. My main concern is if it will be old bugs free or if it will have repeatable bugs that was once already removed from previous versions. Overall game made huge jumps in last year. I personally give little chance that 1.0.7 Sacred Owl will be the launch version. but 1.0.8 or 1.1 , might be. May is soonTM
How can those concerns be allayed? I've accumulated many screenshots of Java exception errors, but i never bother posting because there is no github repo and i just assume team is aware. I'm as interested in finding and reporting bugs as i am in playing the game. Just not sure of the process.

As the info shows, the project may have hundreds of cards eventually.
My assumption, based on the information provided at the Tau Swapbot ( https://swapbot.tokenly.com/bot/m4nki/age-of-chains-official-swapbot-tau-the-time-traveller#choose) is that there could be hundreds of thousands of individual cards, possibly a million in total. The webpage states that the chances are way below 1% that Tau would be found in a deck pack. I take that to mean that, if there are 8000 Tau cards that would mean the total number of cards would be way more than 800,000. I could be misconstruing 'chance' or variables like the size of the deck pack, possible plans to destroy/burn cards, etc. Lots of variables could impact the final numbers. I'm wondering about the price of cards as well. How will the price of card packs be determined and will the $100.00 price be the average minimum for all future cards in that line (i.e., Tau) or will the average minimum be higher? Are all these cards tradeable ? and how to realize such a big list of trading items ? I mean it would not be practical to hope any exchange to lisk the whole pack of cards .
All of the cards sold so far are tradeable. I doubt that will change. Even the deck board is tradeable. They are Counterparty tokens which, once you own, you can trade, loose, destroy, or use. how to realize such a big list of trading items ? I mean it would not be practical to hope any exchange to lisk the whole pack of cards .
It does not need to be an 'altcoin exchange' that lists the cards. Spells of Genesis cards are not on exchanges. The exception is the Counterparty DEX where SoG and AoC cards (and other game tokens) are both being traded at present. I would say that an important aspect of the 'tradeablity' is being able to trade one specific card for another specific card. It can be done with the DEX (maybe with IndieSquare wallet now?) but the experience is not so user friendly. The AoC team could fork IndieSquare or develop their own wallet. Would there be an essential asset or card acting as the currency inside the system? Good question. I'm guessing that it will be released with the 'ICO'.

Nice to see the team keep making progress.
Good luck.
Would there be a ICO for the project?
Thank you, overthetop2011! Yes, we plan to have an ICO before the release of the game. On a side note, there are just two Woodcoin's Guardian cards left before they are sold out. https://swapbot.tokenly.com/bot/m4nki/age-of-chains-official-swapbot keeps throwing errors at me. Is there another way to get the card? I saw the Guardian card recently sold for 27 xcp on the counterparty Dex. Therw may be a few there. If there are none I can put 1 or 2 on the Dex. What was the error?

I am talking about reigniting this. https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/counterparty-evm-bitcoin-ethereum/Counterparty is set to launch Ethereum’s Virtual Machine (EVM) on a testnet in two weeks with Counterparty developer Ruben de Vries making solid progress toward the end result, which will eventually bring Ethereum’s smart contract to Bitcoin. As a big supporter of XCP so you are aware of the following announcement that was made several months ago: "After much consideration, the Counterparty Foundation has decided the responsible route forward for Counterparty is to NOT merge the ‘evmparty’ branch into master at this time. We can re-evaluate the decision in the future when there is additional community and developer support for the EVM on Counterparty." http://counterparty.io/news/counterparty-update-110116/After several forks of Ethereum, not merging is the responsible and smart choice.

One question....WHEN is the full launch? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Soon

... You'd only be holding an encrypted fragment of kiddie porn.
LOL I guess no one is gonna get life in jail for that. But I hope there'll be some way to implement a greylist to avoid even that (very dirty files) in Sia. Can you explain how google, or cloud service, would address this concern? My understanding is that they cannot censor encrypted data. The EU recently passed legislation (at least I *think* they did) that censors end-to-end encryption. I'm not sure how that would have an impact, but it maybe what you are looking for? I *assume* you would not be permitted to upload encrypted files to any cloud service if you are in the EU. I am not in the EU and haven't followed the legislation closely. I hope someone can shed more light for you.

I lost some bitcrystals on btc address I mean I send on wrong address not counterparty just btc address ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) If you control that address, Import the btc address (the one you sent bcy to) into a counterparty wallet. Your bcy is still at that address.

how about bittrex or poloniex? Why not added at bittrex or poloniex? What's stopping you from contacting them? Laziness and/or stupidity. Lazy until I read ... If you haven't already done so, be sure to request that KMD be added to Poloniex: https://poloniex.com/coinRequestHere are some answers to the questions on the form: What is the name of the coin? Komodo What is the coin's symbol? KMD Please link to the announcement page. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1605144.3100 If the coin has a website, please link it here. https://komodoplatform.com/ If the coin has a block explorer, please link it here. https://kpx.io/ Please explain why you would like to see this coin added to the exchange. KMD is a new anonymous crypto currency, built built on Zcash Zero Knowledge proofs and there is a great deal of interest in this coin. Also there will be arbitrage between KMD and BTCD, so Poloniex will get double the commissions/fees. If this coin has any significant innovations over other coins, please elaborate on them here. Delayed Proof of work (DPow) is very innovative. ...and I don't want to look stupid

So I installed Iguana and can see my KMD balance in EasyDex but I don't see an option to send the KMD anywhere. I don't want to send it right now, but just trying to figure out what I'm missing.
that was my first question too ) it's under + button Ok so I tried to send 5 KMD to another one of my addresses for a test and it doesn't seem to work. I enter it and Press Confirm, but then doesn't deduct from my balance. It doesn't always show in iguana. Check your address on https://kpx.io/

I think qora is a good coin, with the work by us. It will go up soon.
Already is. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) The market seems to be reacting well to the possibility that Qora and Burst might be merge-mined, as both coins are enjoying a positive spike on Polo. it's a beautiful thing isn't it? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I should have the QORA new wallet and at least the fixes of the db put onto github in the next week. My sincere apologies for the delay... Also, I did message polo again yesterday, maybe after they see a million dollars in volume in a day, they'll reconsider their laziness. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Sorry for my ignorance, but should we not be apologetic towards Poloniex given that there have been repeated concerns with the database? We (basically Crowetic) pushed for the wallet to be reenabled over and over and polo enabled and disabled a few times. Only after a few iterations (that I recall) did the issue with the db arise. Just hoping to ascertain details that I am missing regarding dealing with an exchange. Thank you
