we can go on blocknet now then I guess?

what further developments have you got planned? exchanges should be number 1 priority

how can such a famous coin not be on bittrex at minimum

can we do some major upgrades to quark?

any chance of the old members of the qrk foundation returning?

I think we should turn this into a pos masternode system the tail emission is to small at current prices to even secure the chain really isnt it?

Perhaps a look at what mue or pivx are doing is useful.

All valid points. It would make sense to make some major changes, like those mentioned.

I suggest users contact their favourite exchange and request Quark, e.g. Poloniex:

If you are having trouble finding nodes:

1. Ensure you are on the latest version (0.9.2.7)

2. If you haven't used your wallet in a while, delete your peers.dat file in the Quark data directory, it might contain stale nodes.

3. Wait a minute after startup, it should find the seed nodes automatically

4. If you still have problems, here are some nodes you can manually add:

104.54.218.167
192.241.151.155
208.94.242.218
90.14.226.20
109.190.236.252
96.18.144.46
79.172.215.68

34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Core 0.9.2.5 on: October 06, 2015, 08:40:10 PM
Github has been updated with a checkpoint on the correct fork.

supernova, coinmine, e-pool seem to be on the correct fork, blockr.io not.

Updated wallets to follow.

37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Core 0.9.2.3 on: January 18, 2015, 06:38:19 PM
Quark 0.9.2.3

There was a fork between clients running Quark 0.8 and those running Quark 0.9.

This was caused by a change in the the way the median block time is calculated between Bitcoin Core 0.8 and Bitcoin Core 0.9.
This caused 0.8 clients to reject blocks that the 0.9 client accepted.

The 0.9 clients have been updated to calculate median block time in the same way the 0.8 clients does.

Please update to the 0.9.2.3 client as soon as possible, especially if you are on 0.9.2.1 or 0.9.2.2.

After upgrading, run your wallet with the -reindex option, e.g.

quarkd -reindex
quark-qt -reindex
