21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: August 07, 2018, 11:01:21 AM
When I was still new in this forum and I can hardly understand how to choose good projects, I rely solely on ICO rating sites because almost everything to be considered is already graded by it. However, upon hearing news about biased ICO rating sites, I started to doubt them. Because of this bad shade of ICO rating sites, all other honest sites are affected.
22  Economy / Speculation / Re: ARE WE IN THE BULLS FINALLY on: August 07, 2018, 08:06:03 AM
Bitcoin gained over 1100 USD in the last 24 hours and is fairly stable above 7300 $, do you think we are finally entering the bull market?

Too soon to assume things because we all know how volatile bitcoin is. It can dump and pump in just a matter of second but we are all hoping for the best especially now that Ber months are near. Last year, it is during the ber months when the market started rising.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: which exchange you usually trade ? on: August 06, 2018, 03:40:40 PM
Depends on which exchange my tokens are listed. By the way, my holdings are all hard-earned from bounty campaigns. The good side is that I get tokens of mg preference without a capital. The downside is that if the token you chose was not as good as you think it is and the team behind it listed it on shitty exchange sites. No offense meant.
24  Economy / Economics / Re: Market freedom collapsing projects at exchanges. on: August 06, 2018, 03:29:57 PM
Limiting the price at exchanges is nonsense, it might lose the token's chance to grow into so much more. The market is meant to be moved by the activities of traders and if the exchange set limits, the traders would lose interest tok because they will have less power to manipulate the price of coins. Manipulating the token is not always a bad thing. For bigger people, it is a strategy to lift up what is worth lifting up. Manipulating just becomes an awful word when newbies try to trade because they make tokens dump.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: when cryptocurrencies can be used to buy basic needs? on: August 02, 2018, 03:18:01 PM
Most of the cryptocurrencies you see in the market are actually not intended for grocery shopping. It could be possible if an online shop or malls maybe, launch a coin that can be used by their customers to buy stuffs from them. But so far, I haven't heard any coins intended for shopping. Mostly are for trading, investments, real estate etc.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MARKET IS RED AGAIN on: August 02, 2018, 02:47:04 PM
May be this year is the worst year for the crypto. market is very uncertain and no one knows the reason All we have is just a "hope" do you really believe that crypto will revive again.. i am losing hope now

2018 isn't crypto's year. Last year, the market was really high. We still have hope because 2018 has not yet ended but we can finally conclude that majority of the months, the market has been down.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Ethereum without any investment?? on: August 02, 2018, 01:23:08 PM
How to earn Ethereum from scratch without any capital? Is there any highest paying faucet available? or any other way to earn Ethereum??

Not all faucets are legitimate. Most of the faucets are usually fake or if not, are shitcoins. It is difficult to earn money in cryptoworld without capital unless you are willing to join campaigns. Bounty campaign allows you to earn money with no initial money needed but you still need to spare your time. It is like an advertising job that will pay you later on.
28  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Not allowed to join on: August 02, 2018, 03:10:35 AM
Batay sa article na nabasa ko hindi naman to banned ang cryptocurrency sa Canada pero hindi ito laging pinahihintulutan. Case to case basis ika nga.

29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why KYC is important? on: July 31, 2018, 11:07:37 AM
KYC policy is primarily for the purpose of knowing the participants' identity. This is to determine whether the participant belongs to a country banned from joining, or if there are criminal records, or if there is a history of scamming. Ofcourse, participants are scared of data breach. This is not 100% inevitable. No matter how secure their data are, there will still be evil minds roaming around that might hack it. This could be one of the reasons why some investors refrain from joining ICOs because they are afraid problems like this occur.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wasted 3-4 months in bounty and at end got nothing ?? on: July 31, 2018, 02:49:56 AM
Experienced the same. Most of the ICOs I have joined are lasted from 1 to 2 1/2 months. And despite of being in the campaign for a reasonable span of time, the reward I got was just ranging from 30-70 dollars. The price of tokens dump as soon as it gets listed on exchanges. Imagine working for more than one month for a reward less than 100 dollars. ICOs nowadays are disappointing and are not as profitable as the previous ICOs.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so much hype on crypto on: July 30, 2018, 11:54:12 PM
People nowadays are too lazy to make their own research. Most of them rely on other people's opinions and reviews. Not all of the posts here are true and not everything you can get from reviews from people is really good as it is. Because people are lazy, they are easily fooled by blandishments and lies. This in turn results to loss and regret.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto offer riches overnight? on: July 29, 2018, 03:08:47 PM
I have to agree with this. Some people think that being rich in crypto is just a piece of cake. The truth is that is not how reality works. It takes a long time before you can finally enjoy your riches. You don't just wait for you investments to grow. You've got to learn strategies on when to trade them or which coins will you invest next. You need a good amount of patience and perseverance in this kind of business.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are tokens in bounty campaign paid? on: July 27, 2018, 02:56:56 PM
Just wanted to ask if we need any kind of wallets to recieve those tokens after the completion of campaign. And also how can token be traded into bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies.Any idea?

Usually, MEW tokens is used for receiving ERC 20-based tokens. But some campaigns also allow other wallets, you might want to ask the campaign manager about it. After receiving your tokens in your wallet, you have to transfer it to an exchange where the token is listed. From there, you can trade your tokens to your desire currency, BTC/ETH/USDT. Then after trading, you can transfer it back to your wallet.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So Who Agree with me On this picture about ICO projects? on: July 27, 2018, 01:10:01 AM
Agree. Some ICOs are too good to be true. Some of the things written on their whitepaper are just exaggerations and then afterwards, people are just left disappointed. Actually, most ICOs right now are like this which is why it is very difficult to choose an ICO to participate in because most are just trash.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the good way to earn with Altcoins? on: July 26, 2018, 02:14:42 PM
Bounties aren't a good deal as of now since there are already several bounty hunters and a few profitable ICOs. This means small rewards. You can try investing on known cryptos like bitcoin, eth, litecoin, bitcoin cash etc, whatever you prefer as long as it has a great reputation. You can watch vids and recommendations in youtube which coin to start.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The longer the bounty, the fewer the earnings? on: July 26, 2018, 11:57:45 AM
I believe so too. More and more bounty participants join as the ICO extends which means that the value per stake will be lesser. I also don't like joining campaigns that keeps on extending however some campaign managers do not allow participants to leave in the middle of the ICO.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should bounty hunters show English proficiency certificate? on: July 26, 2018, 10:22:29 AM
A bounty manager in one telegram group was mad at the bad English of some hunters and made a statement that his next bounties will require English proficiency certificate. What are your views.I think it will enhance posts quality .

I don't see the use of it. The bounty manager can freely choose which bounty applicants to accept based on their previous posts. From those posts, he can instantly judge whether the applicant is fluent in English or not. Maybe he said that sarcastically.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice to all bounty hunters. on: July 26, 2018, 09:39:35 AM
I definitely agree. Bounty hunters should not sell their tokens right away because that kind of action causes the coin's value to drop. Patience is a must in trading. Too much supply of tokens will decrease its price as what the law of demand and supply states. Holding the tokens for a while will not only help other token holders but yourself as well because you will gain more.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VIRTUAL CURRENCIES RATHER THAN FIAT, IS IT POSSIBLE? on: July 25, 2018, 03:53:32 PM
I don't understand. Bitcoin and all other altcoins here are already considered virtual currencies. What is the use of converting US dollars in a token form? And besides, how will it help remote areas? Ofcourse we all know that digital currencies have its own limitations. Not at all times will it be useful for people especially in remote areas with very weak signals. Digital money needs internet ofcourse. The internet is like the human nerves - the passageway of information. If fiat money will be tokenized, people in the remotes areas won't be able to afford it unless internet connections are installed in their area.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to turn tokens you earned from bounty to USD? on: July 25, 2018, 02:50:07 PM
There is only one way to turn your bounty tokens to USD, you should wait for the tokens being listed on an exchange, and then you can sell your tokens to btc, and sell btc to USDT or to usd.

Definitely. You can't just sell your token right away. Oftentimes, it takes 2 to 4 weeks for tokens to be listed in exchanges and additional weeks of waiting for the tokens to be listed on great exchanges. You'll be lucky if the token you earned will be listed right away in a good exchange and will have a good initial value but most of the time, that is not the case. You still have a lot of waiting to do.
