Are you updating your site? It indeed looks as if you were under maintenance or some files failed to load.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My reasoning why Bitcoin could collapse (soon) .. privatekeys/publickeys on: June 11, 2019, 01:16:15 PM
The encryption algorithms behind Bitcoin aren't new. They aren't something created out of thin air, which someone found complicated and fancy enough not to be broken.

They had been throughly tested and trusted long before Bitcoin existed.

And cryptographers aren't the kind of people who just "accept something because it's widely used". Insecure algorithms are being actively discouraged and deprecated (MD5 is an example).
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ehtereum is scalable !!! on: June 11, 2019, 12:58:21 PM
The network consistently accepts about 30 TPS, with peaks of ~200 TPS (as per my tools). Unsure what amount can actually make it into blocks per second.

However I recall reading that the new upgrade will further increase network capacity.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Simple instructions on running full node on linux on: April 03, 2019, 02:18:20 AM
It depends on the Linux distribution, I personally recommend you to follow this guide using ssh with a distribution you are familiar with (or if you don't know any, just use Ubuntu):

26  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: DigiPiglets - Physical Crypto Piggy Bank FIRST PROTOTYPE READY on: April 03, 2019, 01:21:56 AM
Is the delivery "box"/envelope at least partially tamper proof, so we can see the piggy bank comes directly from you?

Not talking about labels here but actual physical protection of the label container (the piggy bank).

I understand this isn't made to store millions, but there's no way to know the 0.01s stored there aren't going to be worth those millions one day Smiley
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Need your help with something easy on: April 02, 2019, 10:03:42 AM
Actually not. The 2nd link LoyceV posted was, as he said, unconfirmed by the time you sent it.

The fact that you could send it doesn't mean it was confirmed.
28  Other / Serious discussion / Re: [alpine lunux] how to initialise apk? on: April 01, 2019, 09:20:39 PM
I think you have problems with your default DNS servers.

Here is a solution for that, both temporary and permanent: https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/441664/alpine-linux-sometimes-dns-is-not-resolved

30  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: How would be a world without ignorance and stupidity? on: March 28, 2019, 07:16:11 PM
Ignorance and stupidity can actually be beneficial to the person. Just imagine how much happier would you be if you didn't know some of the things you knew.
I always thought that. But while they may be happy, but it's for sure they will never feel the joy of knowledge.

Once you get to know how it feels to surpass your own limits, to learn something completely new without effort, you never want to stop.

Or maybe ignorant and stupid are that much better at reproduction. Makes you ponder for a minute  Grin
Well, they're highly trained - when removing everything that is intellectual, all that is remaining is the basic animal needs, including reproduction.

Of course, this needs a reference to the Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs.

Growth needs do not stem from a lack of something, but rather from a desire to grow as a person. Once these growth needs have been reasonably satisfied, one may be able to reach the highest level called self-actualization.

Every person is capable and has the desire to move up the hierarchy toward a level of self-actualization. Unfortunately, progress is often disrupted by a failure to meet lower level needs. Life experiences, including divorce and loss of a job, may cause an individual to fluctuate between levels of the hierarchy.

Therefore, not everyone will move through the hierarchy in a uni-directional manner but may move back and forth between the different types of needs.

yes
You got 5 questions and you just replied "yes". You must understand we are quite confused.

I personally think you were trying to pay a Bitcoin Cash invoice with Bitcoins. The seller isn't likely to detect your transaction automatically, you must contact them.
32  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: I thought Trezor's were suppose to be secure? on: March 25, 2019, 06:05:51 PM
Is there a way to recover the passphrase?

If there was, Trezors wouldn't be secure.

You need the seed+passphrase(s) to recover a wallet after enabling passphrases.
33  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: I thought Trezor's were suppose to be secure? on: March 25, 2019, 05:56:00 PM
Actually, it lets you login with any passphrase. It's not an authentication, each passphrase creates a different wallet. When it's disabled and/or you use an empty passphrase you see the default seed balance.

So if you don't see the funds, try to check variations of the passphrase (as if it was a password and you had used the wrong one), or even an empty one.
34  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: I thought Trezor's were suppose to be secure? on: March 25, 2019, 05:48:05 PM
ok how do activate the passphrase again?
  • Click the name of your device above the accounts balance
  • Click the "Advanced" tab
  • Enable passphrase there
35  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: I thought Trezor's were suppose to be secure? on: March 25, 2019, 05:45:48 PM
I had

1) Recovery seed/Phrase
2) Passphrase
3) Pin code setup.

When I logged in before I would have to enter in the passphrase and pin code using the numbers from the Trezor and punch them in on the website.

That's the problem. You need to activate the passphrase again.
36  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: I thought Trezor's were suppose to be secure? on: March 25, 2019, 05:29:10 PM
Thanks TryNinja,

Then I am not sure why I am not able to recover using my Recover Phrase
Are you completely sure you didn't setup a passphrase? All the cases I've seen of "loss of funds" with Trezor are related to someone not fully understanding passphrases and losing access to them as a result.
37  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: I thought Trezor's were suppose to be secure? on: March 25, 2019, 04:44:23 PM
If you restored the seed and there is no transaction history, the seed wasn't the correct one for the Trezor. Maybe you restored a seed for a different device/wallet?

On every update you may need to recover the seed. Make sure you do it securely (on the device itself). So that's why the settings and logo are gone.

Edit: I see you said "the security is gone". If you added an additional passphrase, you will not see the correct addresses until you enable this feature and use the passphrase you choose: https://wiki.trezor.io/Passphrase

Edit: Notice the quote from Leopay is mentioning Leupay  Huh
They are the same company. Leupay was rebranded to Leopay: https://blog.leopay.eu/leupay-becomes-leopay/

I also recall seeing reports of people saying they weren't crypto-friendly, unsure of that's still true today.
40  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano S screen problem on: March 25, 2019, 08:02:43 AM
Just wanted to drop by to advise you NOT to get it repaired if it's not by the official customer support, even if you take all the crypto out of it before you do it, for the same reason you should have checked the box was sealed when you received it.

If you do, there is absolutely no way for anyone to guarantee they will not tamper with your device before returning it to you. Almost all the hardware wallets may have security problems when the attacker is physically able to access them.
