21  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOINS IS REALLY GOOD ASSET? on: August 01, 2018, 03:28:30 PM
A lot of people says, Bitcoin is the best asset to invest today while others crying for the downfall of the price of Bitcoin, while others enjoying the ride of Up's and Down's of Bitcoin, then yet, no one knows what actually Bitcoin goes through. But one thing we only know according to many Bitcoin Experts that Bitcoin Rises upto 300,000$.. So It's a big WoW to anyone who invest Bitcoin Today... But the Question is.... What would be the EXACT Year, Month, Week, or Day that Bitcoin Goes to the moon?

bitcoin is money. That is the point of bitcoin. But if you decide to invest in bitcoin, it has the potential to grow a lot in price, that i the truth. You won't find a good ad vice from other users here though
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Payment Processors on: August 01, 2018, 03:18:22 PM
With so many options for accepting Bitcoin on your website do we need any more?

So many companies offer services to accept Bitcoin or some other crypto as a method of payment, I recently saw another one pop up in testing mode.

Unless something exceptional is offered including super-low fees do we need to have more and more options to process payments on websites?

fees are not so huge during the normal days, so it's not so bas, especially when speaking of international transfers, then it's really cheap. Payment processors usually only offer conversions to fiat
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Only 2% of U.S. Investors Own Bitcoin - How Much Further Up Can It Go? on: July 31, 2018, 05:32:34 PM
A recent Gallup poll (linked below) showed that only 2% of U.S. investors own any bitcoin, and 26% are intrigued. Think about those numbers for a second...

If even a small portion of those who are intrigued start to invest, the movement could be huge. Granted these are just numbers for the US, but statistics should be somewhat similar around the world. It seems we are still in the early stages. I know it may seem slow to many of us who have been following bitcoin for years, but don't lose faith, just think about the math and hodl!

source: https://news.gallup.com/poll/238016/investors-not-biting-bitcoin-intrigued.aspx

very interesting numbers. I'm pretty sure that more and more investors will be joining this race. Good for those who join sooner rather than later. But we don't need investors, we need users
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why wait for the SEC? We are not their puppets on a string. on: July 31, 2018, 05:31:33 PM
It is sad that so many people are eagerly waiting for the SEC to pull the strings on the future of Bitcoin, when the future of Bitcoin is not built on governments approval or denial of financial instruments based on Bitcoin.  Angry

We should forget about these government employees <Politicians>that are playing us like puppets and we should cut the strings and build on our own success.  Angry

People should just continue to focus on natural growth and development of Killer Bitcoin applications and also improving the technology and distributing more Bitcoin ATM's etc. etc.

We should not place our hopes and dreams on what the SEC wants to decide, but rather what the people wants. These government employees are supposed to serve the people and if they stop doing that, then you should use your vote to get rid of them.  Roll Eyes

Stand strong, Do not sell to the Fiat masters and Hodl on!

very true, this is not for sec to tell us what to do. as long as us crypto community will keep growing and people will want crypto currecnies to survive, we have nothing to fear
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who will benefit the most from bitcoin/cryptocurrency? on: July 31, 2018, 05:29:08 PM
I have a friend who is interested in getting into bitcoins but he does not have a lot of savings or any major investments. He also has a lot of debts to pay and has an average wage job with a family of 4 to raise. When we were talking yesterday, I thought: who really would benefit the most from investing in bitcoin or cryptocurrency? Can those who are like my friend get into bitcoin even though he has no major investment? Or is bitcoin only for those who can afford it?

the answer is pretty obvious. If bitcoin grows again, then those who invested more money will get more profits and those who put less money into it get less than them...
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin does not have limited supply on: July 30, 2018, 09:50:16 AM
The argument is again and again that the value of Bitcoin will increase because supply is limited to 21 million. But this is quite simply wrong. Every time Bitcoin is forked that is in real terms an expansion of the Bitcoin currency beyond 21 million. To some degree the same is true of alternative crypto currencies which will flood the market. There is already more than 1000 cryptocurrencues ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cryptocurrencies )

it has nothing to do with each other. Whatever is forked from bitcoin is not bitcoin anymore. Bitcoin remains with total supply 21m coins unless people decide otherwise and start using forked currency and calling it bitcoin, which is extremely unlikely.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment? on: July 30, 2018, 09:49:00 AM
Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment?

This damages the cryptocurrency. Bitcoin was not created to become an investment. Before Bitcoin, there were some digital currencies years back, the goal was always to be able to create a (digital) currency free from central banks and governments.
Cypherpunks and other anarcho-capitalists are at the origin of this idea, perhaps 20 or 30 years ago. None were intended to make an investment to be rich quickly.
You won't find in the white paper "investing" mentioned, you won't find any post from Satoshi mentioning it

Considering Bitcoin as an investment, this is the reason why we have more and more regulations, G20 summits and others craps, KYC, etc...
The word "Crypto-assets" didn't exist before, why did they create it? Because you even consider it an investment, then why shouldn't they?
Bitcoin could be a lot more accepted and used by now. Why should a merchant agree to be paid in Bitcoin? He wants money, not a piece of your investment.

You're not even investing, you are just gambling with money.
Go to the altcoins board, you will surely find plenty of ICOs where you can say you invested in. I have something for you, ICOs used to raise money are no different than "Crowdfunding". If you want to invest then there are a lot of Crowdfunding websites where you can invest in real startups with fewer risks, (you won't find any project using photos from Pixabay...)

Why don't we see cryptographers anymore? Guess the reasons

community has changed rapidly, now we have more speculators here than the real supporters of the idea. People couldn't care less about the actual idea of bitcoin, they just want to get rich fast
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we about to redefine money again with Bitcoin? on: July 30, 2018, 09:47:43 AM
Good article, with bitcoin the money will be redefined because it is not an simple technology but it is revolution, it changes everything related to money.

it even goes beyond money, it's redefining the whole centralized systems we're facing now. I believe centralization might be needed, but it depends on how much centralization there is
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚛️ [ANN] Bitcoin Atom - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Atomic Swap Powered ⚛️ on: July 25, 2018, 11:17:35 AM

if they launch their exchange in August, the price can easily climb to 20$. Once it works properly and they know how to sell it, we're getting into 3 digits numbers for sure
I noticed a pattern, forks that are something or the project if there is at least some good team in the market are now a good price. A weak forks very much lost in price.

I have been in a touch with the team and I can tell you they look very solid. They don't give false promises, just work on the project and release the code step by step. I fully trust them
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Bitcoin? ✅ on: July 17, 2018, 10:21:49 AM
The bitcoin is very safe but the question is how secure or safe your bitcoin wallet! To secure my bitcoin wallet, I am using google 2FA Verification, Plus SMS Verification, with recovery phrase code. I think My online wallet is secure enough. I am using Coinbase as a wallet about 4 years running but I never faced any hack or something like that. But the best thing is, Use hardware wallet. So, I am planning to buy a hardware wallet very soon. Use Hardware wallet regularly and write your private key and phrase key in a paper and keep that safe and secure.

man, you're using third party centralized wallet without an access to your private key. Your bitcoins are not in your own hands, but in the hands of third party. it's not secure
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: samsung is riding the blockchain train on: July 16, 2018, 11:04:19 AM
wow samsung rides on blockchain

not exactly, they're implementing it in some of their processes, it's not like the whole company is based on blockchain. But it's a good and positive start with positive impact on the industry
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thailand Legalize Crypto currency on: July 16, 2018, 11:03:26 AM
I think crypto currencies will become more and more popular and legalised in different countries. Eventually the countries that are not so keen on them will turn their heads and accept the fact that it is a revolutionary technology.

it is and they will hop in for sure. It's good that the country like Thailand legalized crypto, it's a great example for other neighbors, let's hope they will take it from them asap
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Steve Wozniak: Bitcoin is mathematical on: July 16, 2018, 11:01:55 AM
Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak: “Bitcoin is mathematical. I am a mathematician. There are only 21 million. It is more legitimate than other systems”

What do you think about that?

It's the important aspect of bitcoin indeed. That also bring scarcity into the system, which is very important yet not common with fiat currencies that are being freely printed as we speak
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚛️ [ANN] Bitcoin Atom - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Atomic Swap Powered ⚛️ on: July 12, 2018, 01:02:52 PM
Greetings fellows. I rely that the business will carry out all that has been estimated.

we surely mean to accomplish that Smiley thanks for your support

we know you do. Don't you worry about the people complaining, there are many more who believe in atomic swaps technology and need it desperately to ditch regular exchanges...
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Crypto facing hack Every time it recovers??? Govts involved?? on: July 12, 2018, 01:01:10 PM
Why crypto space happen to hack hack while its on a bullrun???
We've seen some of the massive hacks in this very short time period.Today also   But it doesn't happen in bearish market. Every time crypto has a bullrun.  Yesterday BTC Kept on Trying to Break above 6800 Resistance.. And today morning another hack on Bancor wallet.. Sespecious... Which is really effecting the current market..
But the Question is. Is the govt trying to manipulate and wanna  kill crypto??? That's why they are doing this???

thinking that governments are bothered enough to pay hackers to steal money from exchanges is such a delusive opinion that I'm not sure you shouldn't be checked by the nearest doctor
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea has now recognised cryptoexchanges as regulated banks on: July 10, 2018, 11:28:52 AM
Great news that South Korea has now taken the decision to recognise crypto exchanges as regulated banks - a fantastic piece of news for anyone who has an interest in crypto and it's future; and also great news for us here at CCRB, as we work towards further developing our very own exchange, CCRBX. Read the full article on the CCN website https://www.ccn.com/breaking-south-korea-is-officially-recognizing-crypto-exchanges-as-regulated-banks/ or visit CCRBX at https://ccrbx.io/

that's really amazing. We need high standards for crypto exchanges and whole crypto industry. If the exchanges in s korea manage to get the bank license, well that will be really cool
37  Economy / Speculation / Re: why the price of BTC keep changing??? on: July 10, 2018, 11:28:01 AM
I will be wondering that why the price of BTC don't be constant , it keeps changing Huh Roll Eyes

because it purely depends on supply and demand and is not controlled by any third parties. That is the best trait of bitcoin at all, as it allows everyone to have the same access to this tech
38  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit $25k by the end of 2018 on: July 10, 2018, 11:27:20 AM
You expect too high. I think it is impossible for BTC to increase to such a price, the market is gradually stabilized and controlled by many countries. I think it is impossible for BTC to get that price.

if you think it's impossible, then just move on and go away. Why are you still wasting your time on this forum? Unless you're just trying to spread fud hoping you can get cheaper coins
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are banks and governments scared of Bitcoin? on: July 08, 2018, 01:11:45 PM
bitcoin is completely harming their business model. Banks earn money for charging people for having accounts in their banks, bitcoin lets you have the account in no time free of charge...
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China plans closing Bitcoin mining. on: July 08, 2018, 01:08:58 PM
it feels like china is harming bitcoin over and over again. But it's not the problem at all as it's up to all people to give the options to bitcoin users in china. Bitcoin is pen source software, chinese can use use it
