Here is a quick update on the new website design: I've been working hard the past few days and it's coming along faster than expected. I implemented a dashboard and a database for storing the movies and TV Shows. It seems the dev wants me to focus more on the front end so I will be finishing up the design over the next couple of days and be leaving the back end for the dev to implement. If you're not buying more Vidz right now, then what are you doing with your life? Nice Design. im super stoked to give it a whorl. looks like a lot of buying happened mistoriously just before you posted. have you been buying more vidz because someone has been.

Thanks for your swift response Duke. You have now proven you come here often to check in. It's great to have you. There are still some cheap coins if you want to pick them up. No one will blame you for doing so. i'm sure there will be some cheap vidz for you on yobit to pick up, you can grab em on cryptopia too while thye're hot. no one will blame you for holding both

Wat?! Please don't tell me the wat lady died I just stumbled upon this coin and it certainly seems interesting but can someone please confirm that it is totally open source code? I ask because I saw some comment a couple of pages back about it being closed source but I'm pretty sure that was just FUD. Also, what's with that other coin, vidz something? Are these 2 coins competing or are there just some similarities? Thanks! yeah you know the "security" features like 2fa are closed source and who knows what else "to prevent theft" but even if there isn't anything malicious in there, it's a bit delusional to think people would want to run a closed source program to manage their money or assets. Thanks! Yup she didn't survive 2016. Devs have the torrent as closed source for now... Basically they don't want thieves stealing code, but i heard it will be open source once they establish themselves. Purevidz is a completely different... like apples to oranges comparison and by oranges i mean dildos. They aren't even close to the same yet trolls from Purevidz keep coming here. the problem with open sourcing the 2fa isn't to prevent theft, it's that with it being open source it makes the 2fa pointless because the whole point of it is that there is a "secret" that "secret" is only suppose to be known by your secondary device, usually your phone. In this case though, the "secret" is derived from the password you use to decrypt the wallet meaning with the source being open, you can see how to compute that secret. therefore if you know the wallet password, and how to compute the secret, you can compute the secret, produce yourself a new QR code and scan it and viola you have access to their 2fa now too!! so secure!!

Last on at page 51, now its 108. No way I can read all that. Is there a tldr I need to know? I see Cryptopia so I guess the ico hit the goal. What was the ico price per vidz and how many btc raised?
tldr: 85 sat, btc raised is on the site and they should be on yobit soon if you don't wanna trade on cryptopia it's looking good so far

Where is the majority of the team located?

is it just me or does a lot of the new op's look very similar to each other. sorta like its one person launching all theses coins.

To this guy-------------- good luck tryin to buy all the vidz coins in existence for 1 btc.

There does not appear to be any evidence. For all we know, Julian Assange might be Satoshi Nakamoto.
that would actually make a lot of sense.

Hello everyone, currently we're working on some core features for the site that we expect to be made available on Sunday. Currently, we are still waiting to hear back from Yobit. Enjoy your weekend. The block explorer has been added to the OP which has raised some questions, Top 10 investor have 75% of the coin.. I think we can go to 5-10k when the marketing starts
there's still about ~53.5 million coins left to be withdrawn which is just over half the amount sold. Coins have been broken into change addresses due to the many withdrawals that have occurred so many of the top addresses are unwithdrawn coins. The development fund contains 24.6 million coins currently. We've added a section in the opening post for transparency purposes so that people understand how the development fund is being used and what it's being spent on. If you have any direct questions, feel free to PM myself and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks. Thanks for letting us know! Could you please publish the Dev fund address in a visible place in OP, and officially keep it there so everyone could easily review it? You could ideally make it clickable to go Crytopid explorer, and also make sure all Dev funds are always kept there - without moving to any change addresses. Yes, we'll been moving the majority of the dev fund into a cold wallet address which will be made public and then expenditures will be made from a hot wallet. The cold wallet will contain 20,000,000 VIDZ and the hot wallet will contain the rest of the VIDZ in the dev fund. This will be done the same time as when our changes mentioned earlier are published to live, so likely Sunday. I'll try to get this fixed soon. People who want this issue fixed will have to redownload the wallet once it's fixed, but it is not a mandatory update. Thanks. cool. looking forward to sunday now.

I never nvested and now im having non-buyers-remorse. How much do you guys think it will cost me to buy 2-5 million vidz once it hits the market? Truthfully. Expect to pay a lot. At least double ico price. You guys are all joking. Watch it hit the exchange and dump hard. Anyway, I'll have my lowball orders set and hopefully I'll end up a vidz holder. I didn't see any smileys in his reply, did you? hes saying the truth and you just dont want to hear it. open them ears, no one is willing to sell and those that are are looking for 30 and 50% respectively. gud luck dude.

Purevidz claims to be some type of censor resistant platform using torrents and a few other buzzword technologies to create a streaming content site similar to hulu or netflix but with pirated content.
Lets ignore the technology aspect of this scheme. Lets ignore that you already can get this content for free from a number of reliable sources including the censor resistant sites on zeronet (zeroplay, zerotv, zerotorrent.bit) Maybe you can't stream them yet, but again lets ignore all technology aspects, similar to their threads where they only focus on the money.
The center and most heavily promoted part of this scheme is the bounty system. Bounty is paid in vidz tokens. Bounty is used to request content and pay moderators off and pay for development. Because of the bounty aspect, it could be argued that the moderators and developers are generating money from illegal content, ie making money from pirated content. Because of the bounty aspect, it could be argued that owners of this token are propping up the value of their token through illegal content.
It seems to me that once you include money (the vidz tokens) with pirated content you have just opened yourself up to a whole new legal level of MPAA lawsuits. So the purpose of this thread is to discuss who will be liable and how will the MPAA take this?
I foresee the MPAA going after, very heavily,
any exchange that trades a token (who's sole purpose is linked to pirated content trading) users who purchase the token hosting companies who are paid via this token legit businesses who wish to use this service but get paid bounties via this token moderators who receive this token as form of payment.
why would holding vidz make holders liable as well? where do they explicitly say their service is for pirated content because i recall seeing it said early on that the platform would be scaled for all types a videos so long as the video/torrent has users seeding it. if their platform decided to buy up a ton of doge (or insert w/e your favorite coin is here) before and they did their exact same model of coin burning, etc. etc. does this some now implicate doge holders. why or why not? is it because there are holders of doge who hold it for other purposes then purevidz? how does the law differentiate and determine what type of holder you are and then determine who to turn a blind eye to? in that case how does the law differentiate between vidz? if vidz is listed on an exchange an investor/buyer might be oblivious to what it is and simply be looking to make trades by analyzing the market. they see it as simply another crypto asset since the exchange listed it. is the fault with them? the exchange? who? i'm not going to call your questions/statements outright fud but because of the grey area of so much of this stuff "only time will tell"

i think by friday vidz be trading at yobit. don't stress just smoke some sess and wait.
But what makes you think that? They said on Monday that they started the process and its only supposed to take 2-3 business days and that's come and gone by now. Vidz only got the block explorer today so i assume it will take 2 days from today. but its just a guess maybe they add it in a few minutes. no one really knows but them
