When will someone come up with a simple game to mine coins? "mine through gaming". The miners will have something to do with what they have mined if you have a game out. Most coins just promise things and do not deliver so I would like to see some more done. So far it looks pretty good though.
Thats a great idea. We've just been discussing it. we are discussing the feasibility of making a very simple game, think pong  , and attaching a web miner. Also, those gamers who don't know how to mine coin or has no idea with crypto might be attracted to use your platform if they can use the coin within your site. So no need to buy the coin just to play, but they have the option to mine. Another good adoption of crypto. Remember, there are a lot of gamers out there. One word and it will spread like fire. So we got the Pixel Pong game done, can be downloaded in discord until its hosted on our website so next step is determining how to best implement a miner. Progress! I'm interested in doing something, idk what yet, just been mining for now.
I am a game developer, but current projects are a bit much and once you mix crypto and kids in, life is hard. That said, I want to branch out from what I am doing and develop stuff I won't talk about, and I think maybe an 8-bit game would be some fun practice. I don't think it should be limited to 8-bit games, though. Is it? I think any game would be a good fit for "allows game-creators to monetize their creations with Pixel tokens", correct me if I'm wrong.
I could even, hypothetically, accept Pixel for "Bananas" which is a current web-store currency for one of my games, but Pixel has no value, but maybe this gives it value. I don't know, drunk thoughts.

Does the idea of 8 bits and good pure nostology, now this pre-miner is too high, have any justification for this value?
have you ever paid a youtuber to promote you? or paid an exchange or any of the things that are required for a successful project?

I guess there is no logic behind that. Just like many other coins, you should take extra precautions before investing. If you are not comfortable with their set-up like they don't have real profiles, no roadmap, and it doesn't meet your requirements at all, then by all means you should not invest on them. Because the likelihood of getting dump maybe, is high. You can't blame them because that is their strategy to get money and you are an investor that has the full control of your money. With how business is going in crypto space, it is more on the investor that should take care of his portfolio. Most project creators don't care what you might be losing. That is a fact.
we do care, which is why we thought it a good idea not to put lies all over our ANN. the way crypto is now-most ANNs are filled with fake profiles, fake whitepapers that take space and say nothing which is fine because most people dont read them. If you are an investor who has to check all the boxes regardless, then ya we wont be the project for you. and im okay with that |

obviously the team wants to stay anonymous. up to you if you will join them or not. anyway, no overwhelming promises here. they will develop their project according to their pace so no roadmap either. tired of seeing roadmap? maybe this is the project youre looking for? but be very careful with your investments, they are not to be blame in the event that you lose here. just a piece of advice! 15% of premine because they want to incentivize the developer over their sweat and effort, they do not want to tell us their real profile because it is nothing and they do not care about roadmap because many projects failed to meet up their timeline. And when it hits market and they dump the coin, they are not to be blame? where is the logic behind that? Thank you for your due diligence! if you hop in our discord and join the community you will see we have purposefully put off trying to be listed on an exchange - short term pump is not what we want. |

Marketing and exchanges cost thousands of dollars in Fiat. VPS cost Fiat to make network run. We are fronting our money in hopes we can all make something great. Less that 1% premine won't even cover giveaway let alone a single real cost. We are very upfront about all of this. It's crypto so if you don't like it everyone is more than free to move along, no one's trying to conceal anything. This is not a charity or some hobby.
To address anonymous devs, how many projects have fake dev profiles, qualifications that are completely made up, people that are imaginary? It's an illusion that having a bunch of faces attached increases legitimacy. Depending on the crypto circle you travel in you may know who we are.

Pixel developers will release products as fast as is reasonably possible. These products are(but not limited to): Pixel dev created arcade style video games. And a platform that will allow other developers/game-creators to monetize their own games using the Pixel token.
developers monetizing their own games, please can you explain me how does it work? and how about the players? can you create a game who allows everyone earn their coins when they are playing a game?, of course the coin who I mean is your coin (project pixel) great questions. so luckily we dont have to reinvent the wheel. there is already open source code that we found while doing our feasibility studies in the months prior to launch that would allow payments. There are 3 paths we can choose and this will depend a lot on the game or the developers goal depending on who uses the platform. : Micro transactions in-game, similar in style to freemium mobile games Arcade style, where you enter X coins and get Y lives to play. And straight out purchasing of games with pixels. (this is likely a much longer term path) So for example you could make a game, add in our payment code which allows you to receive compensation in pixel.

Thanks you for the question. So to prevent a single person from controlling every aspect and financial decision of the project it has been divided equally among the four founders. This loosely translates to each of us controlling the aspects of Marketing, Design, Operations, and Blockchain management. This allows, me for example to use the shares I manage more efficiently, I can just go out and purchase marketing related things without having a full board meeting. However, as stated the main purpose is to prevent a single point of failure/control. As for the the 15%, as stated in the whitepaper i'm aware people think its "a lot" but its really not. People have to pay for their dreams. I cant go hike mount Everest without a boat load of money. everything costs money. Its already cost fiat just to launch and will always cost that to maintain it. Financial incentive has to exist to motivate employees to spend quality time on the project. And there needs to be enough to hire additional qualified professionals as the project grows. I've seen many chains with no premine or funding die because everyone got bored, and I've seen many die bc they ran out of funding. This is not a hobby chain. |
