me too . BCX wallet cant't work in win7 64bit /winXP 32bit
Relevant information:
hover! : we have detected that you are not running a 256 color video driver.while hover!will still run,you will get the best performance if you run hover! with a 256 color video driver
Error: The system could not find the specified path There was a problem reading a file in Hover!Press OK to exit
If it doesn't launch on your system why not use the web "wallet"? http://hover.ieweb wallet conflicts with mining, but Microsoft liked BCX so much that they put up a mirror of the Windows wallet, compatible with all versions of Windows! nvm... Microsoft's FTP server went bye bye

Am I too late? yes you are... but you still have time to read carefully the OP page... (especially the 3 first line if it isn't too much...) You still have time to shut the fuck up and get out of my face, if that isn't too much. Where the fuck do you get off with that attitude? +1 for originality

How is it possible that everyone didn't realize this was a very clever, elaborate (although thinly veiled) joke right from the first post?! Proof-of-Hate algorithm? Lol. This has been hilarious but now I feel sad for the future of mankind. Same feeling AND they continue with the hashes! WTF? => Once again, u all together have proven that the cryptocoin community is on the top of the world's intelligence. May this community free of greed blossom and flourish with the coin for the Elite thats resembling australian silk
people don't read, they just want free coin... What surprise me, is that the instructions (posting the hash) are even not in the op. How do they know what to do? Is greed some sort of instinct ? Evolution has clearly favoured those miners with some new skills. on a sad note, yesterday was the commemoration of the genocide in Uganda. People hear on the radio they have to kill their neigbours and they did it... here they are just asking for free coins... i'd say that simplistic analysis of the Rwandan Genocide is sad. c'mon, this is a comedy show, and trying to explain to the crowd how they're not getting the jokes is definitely insane I am not trying yo explain anything... was just a joke. so you are not getting the joke either... (and I don't plan to write a full analysis either genocide in Rwanda, that was just food for thought... ) my bad. didn't take the time to make my reply more clearly sarcastic or to multi-quote where appropriate as much a sad mess as this forum is, it hardly seemed worth the effort

So basically you can post a random binary on bitcointalk, say it's a wallet for new coin or something, and hundreds of users will run it without question. wow.
you must be stuck in a parallel dimension. we're all mining BCX

Anybody else get this error? What does it mean? Yes, this is exactly what I am getting.... I think it means we're fucked. you can't even get Hover to run? tisk tisk. Hover is required to prove hate so the blockchain will accept you

this may be the most perplexing ANN thread i've seen at these forums yet... already feeling the hate well up inside of me! will the reference client allow us to become part of BCX's botnet for the lulz?

even if the notion that the NSA can currently break SHA256; Bitcoin; or the entire Internet at will is still far-fetched for the time being, there's no denying how disturbing the reality of the situation is. when i see articles like these, i can't help but picture a Mirror's Edge-style future -- people bounding across rooftops with paper Bitcoin wallets stuffed in their rectums. Correct me if I'm wrong and misread sometime off one of news sites, but I understood that the NSA was able to intercept, then index all transmissions prior to the encryption process. To me, this made perfect sense when I read it, for then it wouldn't matter what SHA(?) is used, the information would already be mirrored and stored, somehow allowing the NSA to act as the man-in-the-middle.
as long as information is being encrypted and decrypted on trusted hardware, (even if that hardware is pen and paper,) the NSA can do little to eavesdrop on your plaintext. even if the NSA compromises every computer endpoint involved in the transmission of encrypted communications, they would need to look right over your shoulder to intercept something you 'crypted by hand. that said, a Netgear router and Windows Firewall wouldn't keep the world's top cyber-intelligence agents away from your hard drive, your RAM, and everything you type.

It's only for legal reason that it states that it is a demo, but as written, the demo is fully functionnal, and giving fee rebates every day for amount greater than 1 btc.
i can't quite place faith in a service that sports the disclaimer: "nothing is real." if that's true, and i fall into believing as much... i may cease to exist altogether. i spotted two other threads discussing CL's recent status shortly after posting in this thread. it's funny how information tends to pop up around here.
