21  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why can't I my message on telegram deliver? on: January 30, 2018, 02:48:00 PM
Can you give some more information?

Are you trying to send in a group or to a private person? Maybe you are trying to send a link or media in a group that has media blocked or has different rules for sending messages?

22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any coin that gives simple interest on: January 30, 2018, 02:42:02 PM
Rebellious also has a staking interest. I think it's 10% at the moment. You just have to download their wallet and keep your Rebl in your wallet. No need to keep it online 24/7

23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN - ICO] INCREMINT: Solves the ICO credibility problem. Goodbye ICO Scams. on: January 30, 2018, 10:27:50 AM
Seems like a very good product. I invested in some ICO's and so far I've not been scammed but it's always a risk.

Do you need Dutch translations?
24  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What to do for a newbie on: January 30, 2018, 09:50:36 AM
I'm also a newbie and IMO I don't really look at ranks and merit. When I think I can make a decent reply to a post I will do it. If I have a question I can't find an answer to on this forum or google I will ask it here.
So far none of my replies have been deleted so I think I'm doing fine :-)
25  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do I have to learn in trading? on: January 30, 2018, 09:33:22 AM
I did a lot of reading on the technology so you can understand how blockchain works before you invest in it. You don't have to completely understand the blockchain technology but a general idea on how it works is good to know.

Before you invest check out the coin you are interested in to see what it is used for.

Follow people on twitter know for their good analysis.

Read and search on this forum.

Look at some tutorials on youtube on understanding and reading charts.

28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which Exchange do you all recommend? on: January 30, 2018, 08:37:40 AM
I use Bittrex and Binance because Binance has some more newer coins then Bittrex. I would suggest getting the BNB coin when using Binance to avoid having 'dust' from coins in your wallets. When you activate 'use BNB for fees' in your settings Binance will always use BNB to charge your fees. When using this coin you also get a 50% discount on transaction fees.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops Are Everywhere...Still Catching Them? on: January 30, 2018, 08:04:06 AM
some airdrops can be worth it like Rebl but most of the time you get some free tokens but it's more expensive to get them to an exchange then they are worth.

For instance I participated in the Aelf airdrop. I received 1 Elf token. If I transfer it to an exchange there isn't going to be much left to sell I guess :-)
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyEtherWallet Password on: January 30, 2018, 07:53:12 AM
Do you mean you forgot your private key? There is no way to retreive your private key. You are the only one responsible for your private key.

Copied from the MeW website:

MyEtherWallet.com does not hold your keys for you. We cannot access accounts, recover keys, reset passwords, nor reverse transactions. Protect your keys & always check that you are on correct URL.  You are responsible for your security.

31  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Long term investing - Newbie question on: January 18, 2018, 10:43:00 AM
The coins I don't trade with are on my Ledger wallet. Only short terms stay on and exchange.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is the best way to invest? on: January 16, 2018, 08:46:35 PM

33  Other / Beginners & Help / Ico token distribution guide? on: January 16, 2018, 07:33:11 PM
Does anyone know where I can find more info or a guide on what should be a good distribution model of An ico? And more info on vesting tokens?
I'm doing some research on ico's but I don't exactly know how to see if a distribution model is good or not.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find coins with potential on: January 16, 2018, 10:44:51 AM
I start by looking at the coins website and documentation. If that's not interesting or convincing for me my research stops there. After that I look at coinmarketcap and their social feeds. If they are not active enough I don't really trust it.
35  Local / Beurzen / Re: Btc op Exchange laten staan? on: January 16, 2018, 10:37:57 AM

36  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Storing Cryptocurrencies on Exchanges on: January 16, 2018, 10:31:05 AM
I keep the coins I don't trade with on my ledger wallet. The ones I don't plan on holding for too long on an exchange because the fees are too high to transfer them back an forth.
37  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do people have to pay taxes on Bitcoin? on: January 16, 2018, 10:24:10 AM
Depends on your country. In Belgium we have to pay 33% on our profits. It's considered as trading on a FOREX. The government off course can't know how much crypto you have but if I want to revert it back to FIAT I'm going to have to explain where the FIAT comes from. If I never filled my crypto in taxes I'm going to be fined.
In the Netherlands it's 1.8% if I'm correct.
38  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How did you know about Crypto? on: January 16, 2018, 10:16:24 AM
I heard about it from co-workers. They started six months ago, I started about 1.5 months ago.
