26  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Low speed at two Block Erupters (CGMiner) :( on: August 27, 2013, 04:21:57 PM
But why one Block Erupter works (connected DIRECTLY to computer-USB2.0) fine on 336MH/s and second, connected on powered HUB doesnīt work?

//btw my last message was:

not working for me it says:

-bash: ./cgminer: binary file cannot be executed

i replace old cgminer file

BFGminer for Debian from source:

Code:
apt-get update && apt-get install make screen mc autoconf libtool libncurses-dev yasm curl libcurl4-openssl-dev libjansson-dev pkg-config libudev-dev uthash-dev libusb-dev htop php5 apache2
wget http://beehost.org/bfgminer-3.1.4.zip
unzip bfgminer-3.1.4.zip
mv bfgminer-3.1.4 bfgminer
cd bfgminer && ./configure
make

Cheers

Thank you very much, but it says failed to open OpenCL drivers. I need it to work with ONLY BlockErupters. How to compile it with ICARUS only? I donīt use GPU. Thanks !

500mA + 500mA = 1A.  Not counting the hub's overhead, so your hub's PSU is underpowered.

//definetely not. Now i tried with one Block Erupter connected to HUB and one connected directly to computer, and effect was same, so i am sure there isnīt problem with power

Sry i am little noob at linux. There isnīt download for Debian. And i donīt know what to do with *.a file Sad

Make sure there isn't another libusb-1.0.dll somewhere on your system?

Aah maybe this was problem. I will check it

P.S. i installed CGMiner with this tutorial:

http://blog.phrog.org/2013/07/06/simple-debian-cgminer-asicminer-block-erupter-usb-setup/

//I uninstalled all packages via apt-get remove (including libusb.dll 1.00) but effect was same (i rebooted too)
Output was same, but here is output with hotplug:

33  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Low speed at two Block Erupters (CGMiner) :( on: August 26, 2013, 05:37:49 PM
maybe its a bit underpowered? I had a similar problem when I connected two Block Erupters to a 5-port USB hub with cardreader that only has a 1000mA PSU.

I think not, because Windows computer works fine with BitMinter client and powered hub, but here are specifiations of my hub:

Power supply 5 W

Input voltage 100 - 240 V

Output voltage 5 V

Input frequency 50 / 60 Hz

Output current 1 A
//definetely not. Now i tried with one Block Erupter connected to HUB and one connected directly to computer, and effect was same, so i am sure there isnīt problem with power

37  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / CGMiner problem on BitMinter pool on: August 26, 2013, 08:16:11 AM
Hello,

i am using slushīs pool, but it has 2% fee so i want switch to BitMinter which mining namecoins (namecoins on slushīs pool donīt work for me). But if i start CGMiner it says:

 [2013-08-26 10:12:19] Started cgminer 3.3.4
 [2013-08-26 10:12:19] Started cgminer 3.3.4

 [2013-08-26 10:12:24] pool 0 JSON stratum auth failed: (null)

if i start BitMinter official client on Windows it works fine. Where is problem?

Thanks

P.S. i am trying it on Debian server via SSH terminal

Thanks again, and next important thing. Where i can get actual price of Bitcoin to USD?
40  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Qustion Starting with BitCoins on: August 11, 2013, 03:31:41 PM
Hello its again me Cheesy I need to know something about fees. What is fee if i send money from my BitCoin wallet to somebody ? 0.005 ?

Thanks

It depends on the wallet.  Sometimes some wallets will let you create a transaction with no fee at all.  When a fee is required, it is often 0.0001 bitcoin per kilobyte.

Thanks, so i can set settings in Electrum (default is 0.0005BTC per KB) to 0.0001BTC?

Thanks
