I believe that this will ultimately depend on when the controversy surrounding Bitcoin will be resolved.

Eth is definitely a high value coin.. Sadly, all alt coins follow the trend of BTC since it is the lifeline of all alts. With bad news circulating the web, I think that we might see an even further decline in most if not all coins.

All other coins are dropping because Bitcoin is dropping. This isn't only affecting Eth if you'd care to check the news.

I've called this 2 years ago on my facebook. There were no signs of any regulations back then. Smart money (banks, wall st) came into the scene and rek everyone. Hell, we could even be in a recession after this. So what are your options? Just simply hold. Get a job and forget about your assets. You shouldn't have risked more then you were willing to lose anyway. Money is a very sensitive topic for most, but if you can control your emotions, and simply hold without paying attention to your investments, you should be fine. We all know the markets are rigged and ran by bot algos. Just hold your positions fellas, you don't lose anything until you sell.
true.. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Now it all boils down to people who can stand the test of time. I think this is all a big cycle which will work out in the end for Bitcoin and the blockchain technology. The only thing that bothers me is when this might happen since I believe that the worst is yet to come.

We cannot escape that fact that many are tempted to buy bitcoin with the hope of getting rich last year only to find out that the price of bitcoin will drop and they lost a big profit, they panic and sell. While some are eager to hold but because of the news on banning cryptocurrency they have lsot their hope and sold all their coins.
On a lighter note, there is still something positive since people 'started' to buy Bitcoin. Starting is the best way to learn as opposed to not doing anything at all. Everything that's happening to the crypto market is just all a big cycle and it's no secret that some people will indeed leave especially if they took too much of a hit.

Chatted with one of the Paybear staff directly from their website and they helped explain about the codes. I like how they are making things easy with staff available to chat with.

Obviously in places with corrupt govts since I might end up like those people in "trapped abroad" documentaries.. It's a good thing I hate travelling in the first place. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

Hey guys. I was asking my self "Should I buy Bitcoin now? What if it's gonna go down after I buy?". What do you think? Should I buy or wait?
I will also buy bitcoin. I am a big fan of bitcoin. I think the price of the currency is not high, now it has reached $20000, and it is only $8000, now it's a pity that it is down a lot, but now the currency has stopped down, it is recovering now, I think the currency will be the end of the month to $10000, in the coming months, it will return to $20000, I think I'm right I don't know that's your basis on this, but we will need to see a convincing break above $10k to confirm that we are back in an uptrend.

Still waiting for Bitcoin to break above $10k with volume. Otherwise, I don't think that it is back on an uptrend.

We can't deny that we also need some form of insurance for theft, loss, or wallet issues. We also can't in peace and order if our govt doesn't have enough funding through taxes. I think some form of regulation is necessary.

People should invest in bitcoin because it simply easy the transactions can be happen anytime and anywhere . It is also,Low cost the the bitcoin exchange fees and transactions fees are low and minimal so it could also helps us to save .
I don't think it has kept its promise of minimal fees and lightning fast transactions. Also, I think it is not safe to invest in Bitcoin at the moment due to the general uncertainty of which way it will go after the attempts to regulate it in a massive scale.
|
|
|
I think the popularity of bitcoin is on the rise and it's not that we're losing popularity because there are more and more people who know it now and more and more people know about the encryption market and the blockchain.
What about those who came to realize about Bitcoin's scaling issues and those that have stopped investing in it because of the fear that Bitcoin might be regulated soon?

the ticket still in "being processed" status. was opened 12 days ago. ridiculous!
It is poloniex that you're contacting here. They were known for being a good exchange with worst support, and now that status goes to worst exchange with worst support. All you can do is wait and wait and wait, until they change their mind and respond to you, don't piss them off by sending multiple support tickets, one of the main problems with users. Hopefully you should get your money back in one month's time. I don't think they have the right to be 'pissed off' though.. We send them multiple support tickets mainly because we are the ones pissed off with the kind of service and transparency they are showing.

Now that some payment platforms have implemented batching of transactions, we will hopefully see lesser and lesser fees for Bitcoin... Although not a permanent solution, I love how they took it upon themselves to help users pay less, but transactions may take more time.

I get that options to buy Crypto is limited, but if people are willing to learn, then it's not that hard... I can even buy Bitcoin with Paypal although I have to go through some conversions...

I don't think it's necessary to be stressed out when holding especially if you choose your investments wisely... Choose a volatile coin and go all in, you will definitely not sleep soundly at night... ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Revenge feels pretty good to a certain extent. I however, do not see the point in killing for revenge since it just ends the other person's suffering.

I couldn't care less what the world thinks of me since they are not the ones who is responsible for feeding my family.. Although my #1 reason for not investing 'too much' money in crypto is that loss is not insured, so you're on your own if you get hacked or something similar.

|
|
For now, I think the best use for Bitcoin is just investing instead of transferring funds because of its fees and tat for confirmations.

Do keep in mind that trading is never safe no matter what coin you trade.. It's up to you to learn the patterns of that certain coin and always follow a strict cut loss plan.
