Eh, oh well.
I have mixed feelings about this...
But, I definitely won't hold it against you. You can keep that paper wallet closed.
And, if you change your mind later, I'll sell it to you for the price you bid.
Otherwise, peace out!

Just a few hours left!
Although I am disappointed in the amount of response I've received, I am still committed to selling this domain, no matter how cheaply. Get it while its hot!

I'm about to auction my domain, tradeforbitcoin.com. I'll start that this evening, probably.
There's definitely a lot of potential for domains like these.

I'm going to jump into this old thread and see if anybody cares about what I have to say.
I think y'all are right about how important POS is to the future of cryptocurrency. I do not touch POW coins anymore.
I wanted to help tip everyone off about YACoin (Yet Another Coin). Maybe most of you already know about it, but it seems to me like it is the best cryptocurrency invented so far. Not only does it include the advancements made by Balthazar on NVC; it also includes a new hashing algorithm (called scrypt-jane) that changes its memory requirements over time, which ensures that only CPU's will really be able to mine it. As a result, it is distributed very well.
Unfortunately, it looks like interest in YAC dwindled once its first bubble popped. However, I think it has fantastic long-term potential until something better comes along.
Anyway, just thought I'd throw in my 2 bitcents.

I think they should really add YACoin because it has all the technical innovations of NovaCoin without the suspicious pre-mine, and it does the best job of making sure it's only mined by CPU. It seems to be distributed very well.
Anyway, just thought I'd throw this out there.

Thank you very much. Novacoin has the best code of any cryptocurrency.

At the rate of growth you are suggesting we will need 30 to 40 billion people in the world using bitcoin in 2017 (assuming 3 to 4 million using bitcoin now, growing 10 fold year on year)
There are not enough people in the world to allow this to happen.
Most of the world's population will still not have the technology at hand to allow them to use bitcoin in the next 4 years.
You're right, except that the 3 to 4 million users of bitcoin only use it for some of their transactions. If all 7 billion people in the world used the 21 million bitcoins exclusively, we would probably see these predicted prices. Of course, that is not going to happen, because: 1. Like others have said, only a few people have access to the technology to use cryptocurrencies. 2. Bitcoin's design is experimental. Newer cryptocurrencies will supersede it. (Like, Bitbars, Orbitcoins, Securecoins) 3. The smooth execution of Bitcoin's network will be compromised by someone, either through breaking SHA-256, achieving a mining monopoly for a 51% attack, or outlawing it.

I believe that the coins are as strong as the best hash. What I mean is that if five out of the six hashes are compromised, the coin is still okay. Please, anyone, tell me if I'm wrong. I bought some Quark's and SRC's assuming this. ![Lips sealed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/lipsrsealed.gif)
