Doc I'm running win 7, I do not get any warning messages. I have my client set just like you described. The problem i am having just started a few days ago. I will lose a usb stick  it wont restart, and the client does not see its offline. This has happened twice now. I have to unplug it, plug it back in then the client will pick it back up.

Hi,
Is there a way to change the pool settings, or a command line when using the Stratum Proxy? I have an Asicminer Blade v2, and it restarts due to the work not being fast enough, so it tops out at an average of 6 - 7 g/hs. But when I use a different pool that uses the old get work protocol, I max at 10.5 g/hs. Any ideas would be great.
I had to run a proxy service to get my v2 blade up to full power. I run between 9900- 12000 hs. hope that helps.\

Doc H I have 20 of the  new fury usb sticks on a preorder have you made them play n play with the java client? The preorder has reopened and I can get some more I would like to buy 4 more but they cost a lot. Let me know if you have had and luck with them.  thanks phil

I don't have access to a device yet, so I can't implement support yet.

Hello, could you explain to me why we gain more bitcoin with Bitminter past 24 hours. what the problem is the pool is too small to solve the blocks?

Anything can create blocks, even an old laptop solomining, or a much smaller pool than ours. But the time it takes on average will vary a lot.

We had a 99.9% CDF block. 1 out of 1000 blocks will be that unlucky, for any pool. What we need to push through unlucky blocks faster is more hashpower. So tell your friends to join Smiley

thanks for the info on the sticks.  I do not have one to send you as I am waiting for them.

Tell anyone who wants to know or learn about BTC to join bitminter!  It helps both them and us. I knew nothing when I started, but learned from advice and the knowledge of the bitminter community. And for that I will always be faithful.  For any newbie who reads this, I can't recommend this pool enough. The more the better as iv learned, either way in going nowhere.  Wink

I agree,
I started with bitminter, the folks here helped me get started. And for that i leave my stick here. no mater how bad the luck is here!

Yes it does look like the matrix. so as long as i assign diff ports for each blade, the one proxy server (proxy miner) will serve all blades on my local net. Is that right? just wanting some info before i get in over my head again!

No.  They all use port 8332 through stratum proxy.

You set each blade to a different IP.

Yes you're right, That's what I meant

To the guys worried about ROI on their hardware:
Alot of the doom and gloom is strictly predicated on the current BTC/USD exchange rate.
Bitcoin has come a looong way from $0.05 usd / btc to ~$125 usd / btc, so hang on to those bitcoins, an re-examine your mining investment in a year or too. I believe you will be satisfied !
That said, it is probably true that it is more lucrative just now to buy btc and hold than to mine.
I'm mining because I wanted to learn about BTC from "the trenches" so to speak, and don't regret it one bit.
Love the BitMinter !

Im with you on the "trenches" And the future.

It's bad enough that I read all the bad quotes about the am stick I apparently wasted my bc on, Now this! (Bitcoin will die if this don't get better) FRUSTRATIONS!!!&%*#@@&!!  That's all for now

By the way Doc, thanx for all you do to keep this easy for the programing challaged!
