In my humble opinion, lots of aspects need to be addressed to prevent spam here.
1. First we need to define what is spam like what types of posts will be considered as spam. A proper guideline will help many people to improve themselves.
2. Mega threads should be locked for not giving room to spammers.
3. Most sig. campaigns enforce minimum post limits. This enforces people to write even they do not have enough points to write
I agree with your opinion ,, So,sure for the newbie still have to learn again for spam problems ,, (Better be warned first, so that the beginner can learn his mistakes, and the future can be better than before) |

I'm a newbie but I have been a bitcointalk follower for quite a few days.I think this is the best place to gain bundles of knowledge related to cryptocurrencies but this forum is being polluted by unwanted posts which are covering up some valuable information.I found a lot of people just waiting for convenient answers and results instead of analysing information already existing in the forum.this is the best way to reduce unwanted posts and have a quality conversion on important topics.this should be appreciated and we should make this forum even more interesting and take this to next level  It's like the Merit system, you're luckier than me, we are the same newbie, but you have merit and I do not have them yet ,, You have a point about public posts that overlap with some important information. But the benefit is something that depends on the interests of others ,, We must impress certain people who may not appreciate you for lack of smerits ,, I hope there are co-workers who Merit and tell me how to get good Merit ,, |

In response to the rise and decline in market prices bitcoin very worrying, one month ago until today bitcoin prices continue to decline, prices in different markets, there is a cheaper market and there is a market that is more expensive, do you think your experience

In the Morning I see the Coinmarketcap where most of the Altcoins goes down approx 10-12 percent. So How much time will it recover it's main position?
I also do not know how long the market price will go down, the rise in market prices is clearly awaited, the rise and fall in market prices can not be predicted precisely ,, What triggered the fall in market prices may still be questionable for newbie ,, |

Hello there, I am one of those newbies who got a bit unfortunate because I have not made an account before the merit system was implemented. With that said, I want to ask what are the chances a user can get a merit whether he is posting a topic or replying on a topic. I just started 10 days ago and have noticed earlier that some of my replies are getting erased because it is not a reliable and informative reply to the topic, regarding to posts this is my first ever topic made. But as the days pass by I think I am slowly adapting to the forum rules and having less deleted replies. Then I just wondered what are the chances of getting a merit if I am not having a cut among those informative and high quality posts? Will I retain my rank as a Jr. Member( Highest attainable rank without the requirement of Merit Points )? I think the merit system is a very good sieving device for all users in bitcoin talk who are posting nonsense but a bit of a challenge for those who are working hard on ranking up.

You do not have to worry, If you post a quality message, related to post and other feel your post is useful, it will come naturally (Merit) ,,

Don't put all your eggs in 1 ICO and make this a percent that should be the player ... Have a look at coinmarketcap as well because there are many opportunities on the ones that are already developed and have a good marketcap ... in regards to ICO : https://icodrops.com/https://icorating.com/I am also looking for the PRODUCT, vision and team. The product is essential to me , some are offering in demo wich is GOOD because it mean they have many chanses to develop even a better one ...
