21  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptsy SUCKS, do not use it anymore! on: February 14, 2014, 02:14:06 AM
I used Cryptsy once. Never again will I make that mistake. Everything, literally everything, is insanely slow from confirmations to transactions to simply navigating the website.

I like how you show a home desktop printer for printing out fiat.  Tongue

Blockchain.info tweeted about it https://twitter.com/blockchain/status/434058855668912128

I like the design and the overall feeling. Well done Wink

I actually like the clean design. And nice job overall! Are you planning to make it available to others in community to install/use (open-source or closed-source) any time soon? Would love to use it for a project I am working on...

Uh-oh, I've just spent some time doing a new design (using bootstrap). It's still a work in progress (esp., I'm not happy with the TX block yet).
Hope you like the new one better! Feel free to feedback.

I am planning to add JSON API, clean-up/doc the source little bit more and then put it on github or something... should be done in a week or two hopefully.

Bootstrap designs tend to look pretty clean and nice. And the fact that they work well on mobile devices is a huge plus. I urge you to continue. :p

I got 4 emails from Blockchain about a failed 1 Satoshi transaction. This is getting kinda weird...

Get a job.
No, I'm serious. Not trying to be mean, but stuff like faucets and getting fractions of pennies for clicking on ads and stuff really isn't worth it.  Undecided

Yay. My Twisty Cube's on the front page!
Anyway, I hope you'll add a search feature and categories.

Weird. I can't really imagine why someone would do something like this.
32  Other / Off-topic / My generous benefactor... on: February 11, 2014, 02:13:51 AM
Today I woke up to see an email from Blockchain.info
"A Payment has been received into your bitcoin wallet."
A mysterious address, 1Enjoy1C4bYBr3tN4sMKxvvJDqG8NkdR4Z, had randomly decided to send me some BTC.
How many BTC did I receive from this anonymous benefactor?

A whopping 1 Satoshi! Cheesy

But in all seriousness, why would someone do this?
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: closer to zero on: February 11, 2014, 01:06:09 AM
Depending on if you use mt scam or not to judge prices, the current price is closer to zero than it is to its peak price.  The price has only been moving closer to zero and further away from its peak price.
What does this mean.  Nothing, everything, who the hell knows.  I'm just tired of reading bitcoin was 28 dollars this time last year so bitcoin is doing good.  It is not doing good.
No one cares about the past, people care about the future.

I think it's slowly going up again. And honestly, it's not going to go to zero...

Looking forward to it!

I guess you'd really have to love coffee to get one of these.
36  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Announce + Devlog] Bitcoin on Google Glass on: February 09, 2014, 07:49:49 PM
This is a better picture and straight from glass:

That looks really cool. Just a suggestion, though - why not average the price across various exchanges like preev.com does?
37  Economy / Services / Re: Will buy anything you want with CC for Coinbase rate. Only $.15 fee! Gift/Reloads too! on: February 09, 2014, 07:46:13 PM
No maximum, up to whatever they feel like limiting me at, as long as you send first or its escrowed.. I just did the "check spending ability" of $150k on the amex site and it was approved.

No subscriptions or anything that could rebill though, and I'm going to say only legit looking sites, I'm not trying to get my card stolen.

Edit: limits for Visa: $50k (might be able to exceed), MasterCard: $35k

That's a pretty high limit, actually. Not worried about potential money laundering?

I was thinking the same, not very original lol...

At least his secret is significantly cheaper.  Wink
39  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] New blockchain explorer on: February 09, 2014, 07:43:53 PM
This is great, although the design is a bit...dull. Maybe once the main features are implemented, you could focus on making the site look nicer?
