Does it crash when you load the stock BIOS on it and run without any OC settings? Like just vanilla.
yes tried stock. no crash. dont remember the h/s tho @tg88 Cryptonight uses less power ETH for me uses 78w on GPU1 and Cryptonight uses 58w |

is there a website where you can check which coin is profitable to mine?
something like CryptUnit and Whattomine but only for NeoScrypt coins

I can mine ETH at 31.0 with this card but it keeps crashing with CryptoNight algo.
Ive tried Cast_XMR, XMR_STAK and XMRig and had same issue - I’ve also tried lowering the clocks 1100/2100 1100/2050 @ 850mV, i run ETH on 1150/2150 without issues. I get BSOD “Thread_Stuck_In_Device_Driver”.
anyone else had issues like this?
i can run the card using 1100/1950 but then i only get 650h/s
card is Sapphire RX 580 4GB Elpida
Ive tried:
- Redone BIOS
- Reinstalled Drivers [DDU]
- Increased Voltage
any help would be great

whenever i try to mine ELLA or PIRL i get connection closed by Pool error am i doing anything wrong in the batch file? setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0

PhoenixMiner.exe -pool pool.ellaism.org:8008 -wal Wallet.Worker -cdm 0 -amd -wdog 0 -log 0 -rmode 2 try to change wallet.worker with wallet/worker (im on nanopool here , and work with the / ) that didnt work  Edit: problem Fixed -wal WalletAddress -cdm 0 -amd -wdog 0 -log 0 -rmode 2 -worker WorkerName
Worker name need its own command not right next to wallet address |

my cards have been running fine and today for some reason one is playing up as you can see in this one harhrate drops after few seconds/minutes https://imgur.com/fqGxuJ4and in MSI which i use for Monitoring only voltages start going up and down https://imgur.com/r5KHGqGfan also starts cranking up and to stop that i re-apply OverdriveNTool profile which looks like this https://imgur.com/i0CVpddcould someone tell me what is wrong please Windows 10 64bit if you need any other info lemme know thank you Edit: i fixed it guys, instead of Target Temp of 50 i set max Temp which caused this issue.now only if someone could help me solve "Thread Stuck in device" BSOD error when trying to mine Cryptonight using Cast_XMR or XMR_STAK that would be great |

another quick question (not related to above build)
at the moment i've got AX 750 PSU where i m using two of my RX 580s
my MSI is drawing 110-130W
Sapphire is drawing 70-80W
Rest of the Specs are
i7 3770k OC to 4.2GHz @ 1.128 V - Mining using CPU at 80% most of the time
i have x2 PCI-e cables
one is connected to each Card
but MSI only uses 1x 8pin and Sapphire can also be run from 1x 8pin
ive also got MSI GTX 670 that uses 2x 6Pin
can i run MSI and Sapphire from same PCI-e cable with 8 & [6+2]8 (x2 GPUs from one cable)
and use the second cable on GTX with 6+6 (1 GPU from one cable)

can someone tell me how do you actually mine XVG with this? it says Verge is title but no pool is listed, or settings for config file i have RX580 8GB Work fine for me: @echo off TIMEOUT 30 setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 mkxminer.exe --exitsick --asm -o stratum+tcp://lyra2v2.mine.zpool.ca:4533 -u DQk6xNzxzD6RwFaqmGrTM8QkKsJKXinEDg -p c=XVG -I 23 my drivers crash as soon as it says connected. if i try again then everything freezes and i have to hard shut down PC. tried -I 19 and same issue add a pause on the next line and it should work or at least pause so you can see the problem still same issue, after connecting it crashes drivers, i am using latest official drivers, stock bios on card. |
