22  Economy / Games and rounds / New Casino Site Questions on: January 05, 2014, 01:35:49 PM
Hello,

We are small group of people that would like to start a Casino site, that will accept BTC (or other coins)

We like to see if that will be a good idea, so we are asking you to tell us if what we think is a good idea is something you will love.

We are planing to start small with some real casino games (card games like Black Jack, Baccarat etc. or keno 80, some scratch and win) then if it all works fine we will be constantly adding new games and new types, like video poker, slots, roulette and some raising dogs.
We plan to make it just like a real casino, as the main stream casinos still do not accept BTC for the bets.
We plan to make it all limited to virtual currency, but if it gets big we may even update to fait as well.

We plan to have a couple of affiliates programs that will give you and your friends a good profit from referring people. WE will even have program for affiliates that will be able to make a network of sub affiliates. This means you will be able to win from the affiliates of your referrals and there will not be a limit on the lvl you will receive omission on.
So let say you get a 50% from all the winnings of the Casino from your referrals, you can add a friend of yours and give them 40% of the winnings, so if they referred someone they will get 40% and you will be getting the remaining up to the 50% you are entitled to. If on other hand they decide to add someone and give them let say 20%. Then they will get the remaining up to 40% (what they earn) then you get the remaining up to 50%. And so on.

Ex:

You have 50% commission
-Friend A 40% commission
--Friend of Friend A 20% commission
-Friend B 30% commission

Let say:
all players you got in have lost like 100BTC
Friend A - 80BTC
Friend B - 200BTC
Friend of Friend A - 1000BTC

so here how it all works:
Friend B gets 30% of the 200BTC = 60BTC
Friend of Friend A - 20% of 1000BTC = 200BTC
Friend A - 40% of 80BTC + (40-20)% of 1000BTC = 32+200=232BTC
You get 50% of 100BTC + (50-40)% of 80BTC + (50-40)% of 1000BTC + (50-40)% of 200BTC = 50+8+100+20=178BTC

or if we change the upper logic and let say your players didn't play at all and the rest is kept as it is you will get 128BTC from recruitment of Friend A and B who managed to find players that generated profit.

Also just to make it clear, as this will be professional Casino software all the games are provably fair and you can check how it is calculated and also you can manipulate the variables ( we use random number generating and also will connect to a third party random generator, to have it that it will be fair) and you can manipulate how many times the random shuffle will be applied, so you will have it even tunes to your taste.

Please let us know if you find this something you like to be part of and how you feel about using BTC or some of the alt coins? also what you think if we create a coin specially for the casino, will that be better or not.
We need your feedback so we can create something useful that you will like and will be of your taste.

I get this msg, how can I fix it?

No suitable long-poll found for http://localhost:40022

also I have been mining for some time now and yet no luck. (500-600khps) almost 10% of total hashing (currently).

P2Pool & CGWatcher ... Done!

Will this mine for me, or will I be in someone else's pool?

I mean once one of my miners finds a block I get the hole reward? or do only shares count?

Hello,

I like to set up a small multy pool that will be used mostly for private use. (we may open it to the public if it works good and is stable).

The question is is there any good tutorials on how to set up a milty pool that will support most of the mager coins + all the new coins that come out in the clear?

Hope I have send the question in the correct section and hope that will receive the needed qnswer.

Thanks for the help and Goold Luck to all!

Mt Gox's problems have really distorted the market.
Mt Gox's problems are unfortunate, but that's just part of the larger problem that it's hard to know what companies to trust in the Bitcoin world.

I sent Coinbase an email to find out how they're regulated.  I haven't opened an account with them yet, but they look pretty professional, they seem to be trusted, and I'd like to see them become a big name.  In the US, being able to buy and sell BTC using ACH transfers instead of wires adds legitimacy in a big way, I think.  With more trust from everyone, including traditional banks, we should see lower fees and lower prices, but that would lead to more buying, too.

I have used them to buy total of 7BTC and sold 1BTC so far.
They seem pretty legit. Not sure if they are regulated, but it seems like that, as they can verify you in a meter of few minutes if you are US citizen.
The only problem I see is that the rates are round 10% off the Mt.Gox rates, and if not completely verified you have to w8 little over 4 days. but I have a total of tree transactions and they all went smoothly after they 4-5 days period.

Hello, I like to give you my thought:

I think that the coin will rise (that is the future) probably it will go up to like $500 or so at first and drop some down.
Then it will take a year or two to get up again and go to $1 000 and more.

This is just if nothing happens in the near future and much more markets adopt this currency.

If something like the situation in Cyprus happens again (the main reason of the $256 hit) it may hit even $2 000 in the time frame of just a couple of months.

This is what I think about the price of the coins.

Also I think that alt coins will be good to keep, as probably some people will try to revive them and will invest big amounts in them to make sure they stay, and then you may end up with a good profit.

I hope there will be more exchanges to support all cryptocoins and will help them develop.

After all there is a forex broker that supports bitcoin trading.
This means soon more speculators will join the community and the price will go up as the limit in supply and increase of the demand will make it go up.

US government will try to kill it (after all it is trying for so long now, so will not give up anytime soon), but if we stay strong we will survive and be able to defeat them.

Good luck to all and hope I made my point here.
