Many thanks for the update. Can only get up to 4.5ghs out of 9ghs. The rest I have to point else where as I get continious unable to communicate erros otherwise. I have been with this pool along time so I should not get filtered out. I will pm you my details.
Thanks once again.

What ever you did its better than it was but still not right.

If its any help, cgminer mostly reads communication failure for the pool, and alot of resubmits for what I can get when connected.

7.6ghs is on failover ! Can only scrape in 400mhs if that on to here at the moment and alot of resubmits.

So is it there fore possible to queue work independant to each pool in the bat file instead as a whole ? I was unaware this could be done. I will give it a go and see if it is possible.
Many thanks.

Hi one and all, just a quick couple of question I would like cleared up in my mind and a better understanding, as I have been mining some time now. Am just a small time miner here with just 8.3ghs total at my disposal which I have set between two pools.

Queue - Staged work.
When in writing your own batch file, the option to add --queue -Q has a maximum value allowed of 10, but by default this is 1 if not added into the batch file. In the settings menu in the UI, there is also the same option, does the option in the UI have the same upper bound limit of 10 ?, if not what is the maximum ?. I have been playing around with this for months and trying to find the right balance is not easy. I assume that this does relate to the amount of staged work ready (ST). Why would you leave it at a value of 1 which is the default ?

Total WU from version 3.6.4  -  3.7.2
Since moving from 3.6.4 to version 3.7.2, why does the work utility show a much lower figure than before ? as I mentioned earlier, I am multi pooled with a quota split between two pools of pool 0 at 64% and pool 1 at 36%. Minimum difficulty shares are pool 0 at 1 and pool 1 at 8. I do not have the fastest of internet connections and with pool 0 there is no option to change the difficulty.

I have found also that by changing the scantime to 90s and the expiry to 180s, this reduced greatly the number of rejected shares.

Any help most welcome.

Regards

Is some what strange, my average is adjusting as reads now 4.6ghs for last five mins, but share count is not increasing, it says my worker is not connected and team stat reads 0. All very odd.

Anybody elses worker saying on the website that they are not connected when they clearly our. My average for the last five minutes is 4.5ghz. Share count is not going up and team stat reads zero but I am clearly mining and also cgminer shows this. All very odd. Hope am not loosing all these submitting shares.

Am far from mental. I would be if I were mining for less else where. Bigger is not always better ! Just my opinion even if bigger pool owners have already stated you can earn more on a smaller pool and my wallet shows it and I am happy with that, and that is what matters. Happy mining else where and good luck to you. Last block was last Friday, before that Saturday and then the Saturday before, thats just from memory, appologies if that is incorrect but am certain somebody will have the excact details.

Yes, I'm trying 2+ BTC.

What I'm doing wrong?

Am uncertain, assume you are in the payments section. Are you currently mining also ? Give it five minutes and try again maybe. Other than that I am uncertain.

Hi there, im new and considering starting mining in DeepBit pool. I am new to this and i have 1 or 2 question;

1. With a speed of 5ghz, what is the estimate amount of share per hour?

2. At the current difficulty, ive heard its hardly profitable. Is it true?

3. What is the estimate profit some people earn? Could anyone give me a example?

Thanks,
Dani

As it has been said before and even by very high hash rate pool owners, bigger pools do not always earn you more and you can make alot more on smaller pools. At a guess with 5ghz possibly 0.10 a week but your going to have to be patient and stick with it. Your share of the pool currently would be around .50% .

I have a mere 8gh total at my disposal and an average of 4.2 / 4.5gh earns me on average .008 - 0.09 per week on this pool. The rest I have else where which earns me less than a third of that but I am unable to give all to this pool due to bandwith issues. Hope that this is of some help.

I just tried a small 0.22 manual payout and it worked ok. Is your payment over the minimum 0.01.

Sorry, unable to help. I would suggest using CGMiner, if you do, use version 3.6.4 as I tried the latest version 3.7.0 but for me was not as efficient.

Have you tried removing 'pit' ..... with cgminer I just use http://deepbit.net:8332

Pool was down today for around an hour. Last block if I recall was yesterday early hours in the morning if I recall. All seems ok again my end. Check your statistics page and click on the day before.
