The Zadig is not needed. just the VCP driver and you should be good to go.

Thanks! That was the problem. Running nicely now.  Smiley

On windows when bfgminer is started I get the message : NO DEVICES FOUND: Press 'M' and '+' to add

My commandline:

Code:
bfgminer.exe -S antminer:all -o stratum+tcp://stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 -u stevenf.xxxxx -p xxxx --set-device antminer:freq=0881

I did install the CP210xVCP driver for windowsand I used the Zadig tool thingy, or is this not needed?

There's a table of values at the end of the current BITMAINtech documentation.

+1 Thanks!

And you can overclock using --set-device:

Code:
bfgminer --set-device antminer:freq=4F02

Sounds good!!

What value would I need to enter for the overclocking?

freq=4F02 is this stock speed? (1.6GH/s)

What value should I need to enter for 2.0GH/s

Thanks!

Just 12 hours a go you're saying it looks promising. Aren't the people allowed to sleep? Do they need to reply instantly to your emails? Also don't forget about different time zones..
30  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: CGMiner crashes with more than 6 AntMiner U1 in USB hub. on: January 05, 2014, 06:29:44 PM

You get further than I do.  I can start it up with one Antminer, but if I try to start with more than one I get to the Bmsc send golden nonce and then windows explorer quits working, shutting down the window.  After I have one going, I can add as many as I want though.  Currently I have 10 in one hub and 8 in another.  I think you are probably dealing with a power issue with your hub.  Check to see that you have a 12V4a power supply for your hub.

Not sure what the problem was, I tried on a different computer (Windows 7) and all went fine.

I have this with the AntMiners. Does this look ok? Or too many hardware errors?

33  Bitcoin / Mining support / CGMiner crashes with more than 6 AntMiner U1 in USB hub. on: January 02, 2014, 06:46:06 PM
Hi Everyone,

Got a problem with my USB AntMiners, I can only get up to a max of 6 USB miners in my USB hub (TeckNet 10 port) working. When I place number 7, CGMiner crashes

This is the commandline I use:
cgminer --bmsc-options 115200:20 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 -u stevenf.worker1 -p 123 --bmsc-freq 0781

When I start CGMiner with 6 miner all is ok. I get this output:

When I put number 7 in, it goes through the initialise process as above, and then CGMiner crashes.

I'm using Windows 7, also tried on Windows XP same problem.
The power to the USB hub should be fine, got a 650W ATX PSU with 24A on the rail.

Any idea's?

34  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Bitmain AntMiner U1 Tips & Tricks on: January 01, 2014, 11:45:24 PM

cgminer 3.9.0 does not directly support the U1.
You need to download the prebuilt  windows version from here and unzip.
https://github.com/AntMiner/AntGen1/tree/master/cgminer
Follow instructions in the AntMiner-U1 user guide.
https://github.com/AntMiner/AntGen1

Thanks!!

Got 3 working on my USB hub (49 ports), but the others aren't detected by cgminer. At the moment I can only get a maximum of 3 running.  Undecided

PSU is 750Watts, plenty!

Any ideas?
35  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Bitmain AntMiner U1 Tips & Tricks on: January 01, 2014, 09:06:01 PM
I'm having no luck getting these to run on my Windows 7 PC.

When I stick them into my USB port, in the device manager I see: "Silicon Labs CP210 USB to UART Bridge (COM3)" appear.

I've downloaded cgminer version 3.9.0 and tried some of the examples shown in this thread, but no luck.

Am I using the correct cgminer version?

What is the command line I should use to start cgminer?

I only have these have these AntMinter U1 stick in my USB hub.

Thanks for any help!!

Hi,

What is the command line to run the BLueFury with cgminer?

Thanks!

1.6GH/s overclockable to 2.2GH/s  Shocked

Do you have another thread for overclocking and hashing set up?   Roll Eyes

Yep I also would like to know how to overclock.

Will these units be running for cgminer or bfgminer? Or both?

2.41Gh = 5 second average
2.40Gh = all time average
2.37Gh = average pool corrected
A = accepted
R = rejected
HW = Error rate

There is a full list in the read me documents

Thanks a lot! Never used bfgminer, will check the read me docs.

But do the values look ok for the Blue Fury?
