No one wants to queue in front of an ATM to get a bitcoin. You mean no one wants to buy Bitcoin because the government is monitoring every purchase? Which country is that? |

In light of the recent issues about regulation and ofcourse mt gox it becomes clear that some sort of self regulation within our community is required. although we cannot do much legal work we can hold exchanges to certain standards. IMO Bitcoin doesn't need the kind of regulation you're aiming at. Math must be the only regulation. The laws of mathematics must be the only law applied! Simply, apply multisignature solutions to all your bitcoin transactions! |

If people really thought Bitcoin was going to be embraced by governments, they are in for quite a few more rude awakenings. The value of Bitcoin lies in its ability to function despite government disapproval.

I think a crypto backed by gold or silver would be a cool idea, But it would probably be hard to implement it, You would have to "Trust" someone with securely storing the physical gold and silver and the crypto would have to be redeemable so that anyone could request a withdraw of their physical gold and silver.

Bitcoin is better than gold, as long as the NSA doesn't bring a few gazillionhashes/sec with an ASIC farm they own to gain 51% the network. All it'd take for the NSA is a ~50-100mn USD equipment contract with some ASIC manufacturer (which is peanuts for their standards).

If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
I'll keep both gold and bitcoin. I've even proposed the first dual currency being bitcoin backed by gold. |

Стига сме чакали някой друг да измисли нещо. Биткойна е отживелица вече. Не може да се направят милиони от него. През 2009 е трябвало да се копае. Само най-новите скриптови валути с ниска стойност са офер.
eLev според мен не е добро име, защото имитира съществуваща парична единица. Ако се прави български койн, по-добре да се нарече на някоя от старите златни или сребърни монети, сечени от българските царе - например перпери или аспри. На мен не ми се занимава с това, защото смятам че национален койн няма особени изгледи за успех на дори и доста по-голяма държава от България. Ако все пак някой реши сериозно да се занимае, аз ще сопсорирам с домейна bulcoin.com. Опасявам се, че на новите койни в момента все повече започва да се гледа като на "честна" пирамида. Всички знаят, че по някое време ще има дъмп! |

Thanks for the videos. Market scaling... "Lump sum or nothing" option unquestionably is the most principal approach but is not enough for a truly liquid market. Very often users have nothing in spite if their limit orders are partially executed. They must be able to make a choice for the type of market scaling of their orders? Partial execution - allowed/not allowed => if allowed => define minimum size of a single lot (default minimum must be the minimal denomination of the traded asset). |

I'm still trying to find out the optimum coloring scheme for my Gold Backed Bitcoin project. Currently ChromaWallet supports only order-based coloring scheme. Will you also add support for tagging-based or per-satoshi coloring?

това трябва да е по-интересна тема от копаенето , нали ! Копането е доста интересна тема, а и доста забавна. Повечето копачи удобно и може би подсъзнателно изпускат една дребна подробност - колко е бил курса биткойн/долар, когато за заплатили за желязото или когато са купили акции от минен пул? Ако си направят простата сметка ще видят, че много по-печелившо за тях би било да си купят биткойни вместо да правят инвестиция в минно оборудване или минни акции! Коментарът ми за покачването на курса на биткойн е най-обикновен - празнувам като всички останали притежатели на биткойни. |

Thanks We would be happy to hear more about it and maybe sponsor it in the future. The link to this project is already on my signature. This is quite ambitious stuff and certainly Coloredcoins.org team as a formal organization is invited to be among the first 20 core members. With the recent rise in Bitcoin price, money becomes less of a problem for every Bitcoin related project. I'll be happy to accept your sponsorship rather in terms of advice and recommendation than in money. Probably I'll suggest some modifications to order-based coloring, but let me carefully read the new white paper version first and not jump ahead. |

Никак не ми се връзва това: PS: Със моите скромни 550 Gh/s със текущата сложност ( 610 мил. ) възнаграждението ми се равнява на 410$ на ден.  Последната ми инвестиция ( ASICMiner Cube ) ще се изплати след 3 дни. с това: Бих казал че копаенето е повече за признание ( аристократичен статус ) а не за печалби ( както Overcoin го представя )
Не разбирам, какви точно са ти очакванията? Кой трябва да признае твоят "аристократичен статус"? Какво удостоверие очакваш да ти се издаде, че си аристократ? |
