21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTL How valuable is it? What can it's BitEnergi Project do for BTL on: May 20, 2014, 07:15:41 PM
Hi, I am partner in this project, we are doing things step by step, not as fast as expected but we go on for sure.

Some updates about BitEnergi Project powered by Bitleu coin:

1. BitEnergi is registered in the UK, we have bank account, so everything is legal.

2. We also will register legally asap the subsidiary company BitEnergi PH but we can develop the program through BitEnergi UK, starting from today.

3. Got legal contracts for the buyers so they become owners of the trees until seling it to another person or to the company.

4. Paid for checking name and registration of Bitleu Eco Association.

5. Paid for Bitleu trademark registration.

6. Almost done the Feasibility Study for the Mahogany Farm and intercropping.

7. We will have in few days the WP plugin for payments in BTL and it will be installed on the first 2 sites:
http://bitenergi.com
http://www.austrocasa.ro

More coming soon...

Yes, and thank you for your post!

We made steps forward to develop the business and the coin, but we are not rich people, only normal guys who have a vision. We need the community to come in, for the mutual benefit of all parties involved and for the benefit of the environment.

We believe that planting trees is good for the environment, for our future and for the future of our children, no matter where the trees are planted, it will help changing the climate all over the world. We begin planting mahogany trees in the Philippines where everything is prepared to start. We will cooperate with Friends and organizations all over the world for planting country specific trees. Estimated jobs that will be created: minimum 1 job per hectare.

A tree owner can help clean our environment and also earn real money. It is much better than having a pension, as the mahogany tree is a palpable asset, not a volatile investment!

This is why, we have connected Bitleu to Bitenergi project. Even if, BitEnergi can be developed with fiat currency only, being crypto enthusiasts we see more secure financial freedom to those who become owners of some good and sustainable crypto-currencies, thus we want to make BitLeu more sustainable by real life and business projects than any other coin! Smiley

Thank you for your involvement and participation. Any questions and pertinent comments are welcomed!
23  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: January 06, 2014, 05:37:38 PM
It doesn't sound like their chips are going to be as efficient as they originally claimed.
Two cases for 2000GH/s makes me think it's going to be closer to 1W/GH!
They explain this on their website in their forums.
"We have our final specs for the Minion. Based on our library (we can only simulate the TT corner which is 0.85v @ 25C) and the power consumption is 0.6-0.65W/Ghash. We trust that underclocked and underpowered the Minion will achieve under 0.5W/ghash as promised.
This is not as good as our first simulations which were based only on Front End but this is where we need to stop. The time does not allow us to continue our effort towards seeking a lower power consumption.
We had to drop the frequency from 1.5Ghz to 1.0Ghz in order to achieve this efficiency. However we've increased the number of cores so the Minion will hash at the speed promised.
We had met all the timings for 1.5Ghz but the efficiency was 0.8W/Ghash and this is not something we could have accepted."
Try to reach them on skype, there are 2 guys there almost all the time: alex27a and blackarrowsoftware.
Hope this helps.

Actually minersource are the official US distributor. Check their news archive. http://www.blackarrowsoftware.com/store/index.php?dispatch=news.list
Anyway, they should be oppened and have all contact and business details there, at least...
However, I have applied for being official distributor at Black Arrow but do not seem that I will have what to sell  Angry
It will be too late because of difficulty, etc... we'll see!

Interesting, I went to the store site and attempted to log in. It says i don't have an account although i have invoice in my e-mail dated 24/09/2013. I guess i'll just have to wait and see what happens. This is probably due to the website changing since the early orders.
If your order was placed before the new website, you need to log on to the old one here:
http://archive.minersource.net
I have the order confirmation email (dated 10/23/2013), but my account on the old site says I have placed no orders. Anyone know what's up with that? Will send out PMs as well.
I don't think this belons to BA. It seems to be another crap scam! No contact details, all hidden, only empty words and few stolen images...
26  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: January 05, 2014, 11:10:58 PM
The scam site is using https://bips.me/ as a bitcoin broker.
I see. Thanks!
27  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: January 05, 2014, 08:49:12 PM
Quick announcement:
There's a site that has come to our attention called "blackarroweurope.com"
This is not affiliated with black arrow and should be avoided. We are currently working on taking care of the issue.
Thanks
They went to all that effort, and left the contact details as
Tel: 0123-456-789
Email: sales@yourcompany.com
I reported it to BIPS
BIPS? To Bitcoin Internet Payment System?
What this has to do with fraud?
Thanks.

There are many other coins that can be mined with ASICs, and then traded, or they might become something in their own right. This is not a one dimensional game.
This is true but those who don't have a mining machine don't have to wait until April, May or June 2014 to buy a SHA or Scrypt mining machine but can do it now in different ways. There are solutions to start mining in few days... I am working on this and will have all ready in about 1-2 weeks, then will share it in a new post :-)

Don't know what to say as I don't know him personally but Paul should answer those support tickets! Here is his contact data, if you don't already know:
https://www.cryptsy.com/pages/about
https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com
or try to contact Paul directly: paul at cryptsy dot com

30  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptsy is a joke. on: January 04, 2014, 11:28:01 AM
Deposited 100k DOGE 12+h ago, no sign of it, not even showing as PENDING. Multipool sent 8 payments, each of 10k to it. 10k is available, 14k is pending. CoinedUp is better than them.

I had same problem with DVC, it took 2 days, I think because of few factors:
- these exotic currencis are not very volatile so the trading volume is low.
- holidays.
- site functionality problems, that can be improved.
Finaly, after 2 days, I got my DVC deposited and made some trading there.
31  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptsy is a joke. on: January 04, 2014, 11:24:27 AM
Cryptsy is not a joke but has some problems which can be solved. I had the same problem with depositing DVC but finally I got them there. These exotic cryptocurrencies are still rare and trading volume is low, so it takes longer to confirm them. But the site needs to be improved of course.

Before joining I made a short research about Cryptsy, so what I know is that Paul is trying to get funds through listing Cryptsy project on some crowdfunding platforms and offering shares to investors, etc. I even know his market value now as his data is easy to find on the net.

I like people who start something on their own, I think he is not a rich man but trying to create from scratch a business that might be a good one in the next future as bitcoin and altcoin era just started not long ago.

I don't know him yet, but am giving Paul some credit and will continue to stay there hoping he will be able to manage his business. He needs lot of money to get financial licences from USA in order to be able to trade USd, needs to improve his site's functionality and customer service.

It is easy to blame, but I rather will offer my help for improving his customer service. Also, I am thinking to buy some shares at his company in order to help. Will contact him asap after these vacation days.

100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash
That means $149 per this one ASIC?!
I do not see any product of this price on their site..?!
How can this be possible and true?
Sorry for my misunderstanding and thanks for clarifying and... clearance!  Smiley
33  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: January 03, 2014, 01:04:47 PM
We all know some ASIC manufactures are mining with THEIR equipment. However Black Arrow are a start up so where are they getting the chips from to make miners when their first wafer run has not been finished? Where is the evidence to back your claim?
As far as I know they manufacture their own minion chip miner, the only thing they need from other manufacturer are the boards on which their chips will be mounted. Am I right or wrong...?

No you don't! But the question is: do you know a place where we can BUY NOW 10 ASICMiner Blades at $2499 or 6 ASICMiner Cubes at $2808 ?
Thanks!

Sure, check the Group Buys.  BitCanary has the Blades and two or three people are selling the Cubes there.
Thanks!

First of all, our main product is on a Christmas sale! - Yes, the price has dropped significantly.
If I buy 10 BiFury devices at $2999, I'll have ~50GH/s.
If I buy 10 ASICMiner Blades at $2499, I'll have ~100GH/s.
If I buy 6 ASICMiner Cubes at $2808, I'll have ~180GH/s.
$200 -$500 cheaper and two to three times the speed.  I just don't see any advantage in buying these compared to other devices currently available.  Am I missing something?

39  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Bi•Fury | 5+ GH/s USB Miner [FASTEST USB MINER IN THE WORLD][IN STOCK!] on: December 19, 2013, 11:24:30 PM
These seem way overpriced. Especially since Blackarrow is offering 1.50 USD/GH/s (granted, for March)
For March you say...same bs as Cointerra for December, Hashfast for October, BFL as always, Avalon for April...
BI*Fury's are shipped within 24h, thus the price is higher.
The price is 85 dollars a GH/s.
I bought an Avalon a month ago for 1200 USD. which is 20 USD per GH/s.
Cloud hashing on *CEX.IO* is even cheaper.
current BTC price: 706 USD. $706 * 0.069[BTC/GHS] =~ 48.7 USD/GHS

Maybe ROI calculation will help a bit more:

Interesting device, do you have many instock now?
lets say you have 10 of these in 1 usb hub with 10 slots, how much power draw would the psu use?
Interesting video
