Hi guys, bit noobish question : How to stake coins? Is it automatic after n time past or is there a specific procedure?

I dont know why are you selling those coins so cheap. 10K skc is over 300 blocks and more than 0.05% of the total coins. The difficulty is increasing fast and were 3/4 away from halving the block reward only 2 months after the release of the coin. Im not trying to persuade anyone to do anything but this doesnt seem like the standard pump and dump coin to me  I think it's because the coin is not on an exchange, so they don't perceive it as successfully or with a future. Difficulty growth tells to me another story, let's see. |

The Same poclbm works if i give him platform 0 that is my i5's HD4600 with 6 MH/s.

I think the linux crash is due to some memory leak. I try to run it on Amazon Linux and top shows that RES memory is constant but VIRT continuously increases. I followed Fasan's directions too, but nothing changed..

Want' aware asrock created a mb targeted to bitcoin mining lol.
Well it's only abundant with pci-e slots, get a good psu and you should be good also for litecoin mining with vga's, 4x7950 VGA are a common choice, but Vga mining for litecoin isn't anymore what it used to be thanks to the difficulty increase.
Ah, for interaction with your desktop while you mine you should keep a card free from mining (if you want to play game) or with low or dynamic intensity if you just wanna surf the web/office use.
If mining does harm your pc? Well if you don't have a good cooling yes, high temperatures are to be expected, but if you build it the right way it should work !

* and the cpu standalone windows miner i found is flagged by Avira as bitcoingen virus (probably false positive but who know). Someone from quark should provide a safe link for beginners |

Thinking this way we would have a coin for every service, and for every website. Actually when you put your fiat money in an online casino account your fiat turns into something that you can only use on that website. I think that maybe an useful established service can spawn an own cryptocurrency but the other way around i don't know, what is the additional value?

The major reason isn't on a exchange isn't the pool for BLC, there is no block explorer and no services/products to back it up at the moment.
"no services/products" most new coins don't even have a planed use for them at least with Blakecoin we do have a plan for its use with our MMO games but with just two developers on the game and just me on Blakecoin things can take some time, I also need to be available for other work so I can pay the bills  Your MMO ? Any other info you can tell on your project ? I am interested in cryptocurrencies and games as i am looking for integrating cryptos in Unity, maybe to create interesting games involving cryptocurrencies or where you can use altcoins in some way. Creating a cryptocurrency just for one game imho is too much, but it really fascinates me. |
