IFC's insta/easymine was so bad, you may as well call it a premine.

But that very same "almost premine" is whats holding the coin back newcomers feel cheated and by supporting coins they would basically enrich the earlyminers.
It should have started at the rate it is now (16k/block instead of 500k).
Those massive amounts of mined coins need to get into circulation for ifc to actually start working. And that needs ifc based shops or services - that do not actually need $ or btc to back it up.
