21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Banned! on: January 12, 2018, 01:29:44 AM
I don't know of any country who banned bitcoin. Even if some countries did, they are only a small and insignificant portion of the world. Regulations will probably come in the near future in many countries, but banning bitcoin completely? Why? I don't see the point in doing so.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More bad press for BTC on: January 12, 2018, 01:22:25 AM
Until Segwit and LN will be fully implemented, things like that will keep happening. It may be possible to swallow the high fees, but the current confirmation time is just ridiculous. Hopefully in a few months things will look different.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greedy binance,bittrex,CEX.io exchanges on: January 07, 2018, 12:14:18 AM
Well that what happens when you use cwntrallized exchanges. As long as people keep using them there will be scams, hacks and all sort of stuff that make you mad but you have nothing to do about.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: January 07, 2018, 12:02:12 AM
To be honest? Yes. The run last year was incredible. 10x in a year is something I didn't expect. I will be more thab satisfied with x3-x4 this year.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: January 06, 2018, 11:55:48 PM
This is juat nonsense. Even in the extreme case of everyone using bitcoin, the goverment can, and most likely will tax your income. Yes it might be easier to hide income, but when it comes to taxes, goverments usually find a way to enforce it.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future is crypto currency on: January 06, 2018, 11:47:25 PM
The problem with cryptocurrencies is that there was yet to be found an application that can be considered 'revolutionary'. Cryptocurrency will never totally replace fiat. At the end of the day, you have to pay taxes in fiat, so even if everyone trades in cryptocurrenc, people will still have to exchange them to fiat. Right now most people buy crypto coins as a mere speculation. When there are good reasons to buy crypto's besides speculation, then and only then you will see almost eveyone using them.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lightning Network Incoming: BTC to the MOON ? on: January 06, 2018, 11:37:40 PM
Unfortunately it seems that BTC price is affected by a lot of things which aren't related to the actual demand of the coin. The transactions will be easier and cheaper that's true but that doesn't nesseceraly mean the price will moon becauae it's controlled by whales and goverments who constantly manipulate it.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best coins for January/February 2018 on: January 03, 2018, 04:57:34 PM
XRB and IOTA will be the next coins that go to moon, not sure if in Jan/Feb though
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Colx is better than Monero and Iota.... and extremely cheap today on: January 02, 2018, 06:09:41 PM
Can you elaborate on what exactly does colx take from each coin? Those coins you mentioned are all very different from eachother and work on different kinds of networks and algorithms. So unless it's some super unique new invention, I find it hard to believe that it manages to combine all those coins.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do if bitcoin decreases? on: January 02, 2018, 01:50:48 AM
As others said, there are pretty fundamental problems with bitcoin at the moment, so a decrease in price is almost inevitable. However, if it falls too much, say to less than 10k, I would buy.
31  Economy / Economics / Re: plan for the future with bitcoin on: January 02, 2018, 01:42:51 AM
The problem with BTC at the moment is the long confirmation times and the very high fees. If those two problems don't get fixed somehow, I don't see how BTC keeps growing. So invest with caution, do your own research first, and don't just buy in because the price has been increasing as it can go the other way around too.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will alts crash again ? on: January 02, 2018, 01:36:22 AM
I really don't get those kind of posts. How can one treat all alts as one big group. Some alts are controlled by Chinese or Russian government, some are pumped while others are dumped. Of course there are some patterns that most alts follow together, but that's never the case for all alts.
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin price increase or decrease? on: January 02, 2018, 01:28:38 AM
You hear of more and more countries that plan to make regulations about bitcoin. It means that more people will use it because people think that regulation is good for some reason, but on the other hand it can drive away current big whales and that would create a big price decrease. So yeah, you can't really predict too much.
